Lovely, cozy place perfect for couples. Lots of privacy and quiet, peaceful area made it a good escape. Highly recommend this accommodation, whether you enjoy nature or just want some peace and quiet.
The kitchenette could use a couple more utensils for cooking! The tableware was slightly dirty when we arrived- needed a rinse before it could be used.

The cottage is quaint and delightful. It’s so well thought out. The kitchen has a full size fridge, cooker etc. all the utensils you need are there… plus tea, coffee, hot choc, milks and even a bottle of Prosecco! The loft beds are great, my boys are 12 and 13 and they loved them. In fact the whole bottle is lovely. The weather wasn’t great for us so we didn’t use the garden but we did make use of the covered porch to have a brew and watch the butterfly’s in the garden!
The location is great, close to Beaulieu Motor Museum, Forest activities, and the neighbouring villages are also just a short drive. But at the same time you pretty much step out onto the forest and we even had ponies at the gate at one point!
All in all loved it!

This property was just perfect and everything was perfect from check in to check out.
We enjoyed everything although the bath was slightly smaller than expected, I think its called a Shub. We laughed so much, I sent pictures to my daughter who told me that I looked like I was having a bath in the sink. It was just perfect and the shower was more than sufficient.

The cottage is small and perfect for 2 people and in our case a small dog. Parking is easy and just outside the cottage. The cottage is perfectly located for exploring the New Forest and the many local restaurants, cafes and pubs. Generally the area is very friendly and accepting of dogs.
As pointed out earlier the cottage is small and so is the bathroom. The bath/shower could be difficult to get in and out of albeit we had no problems.

Perfect setting, full of charm and quirky interior. The information book was excellent with photos to support and included food suggestions/recommendations. It also had a clear explanation of check out procedure. There were a few food basics/milk in fridge for arrival, plenty of toilet rolls, linen, teatowels/towels and some toiletries.
I want to state this is only from our point of view but feel like it needs mentioning for others in a similar situation. The bathroom facilities in listing and picture of the bath gave us no reason doubt it wasn't a regular bath. My husband and I both have hidden disabilities which give us some mobility issues (hence the booking for a place on one level) I think it would benefit to give a clearer explanation of the bath. It is a split level, short, deep bath with shower over. Generally this wouldn't be a problem to most people but for us it was difficult to get into as it was quite deep to get your legs over side and step in/out of and only gave a very restricted level area to stand/turn in, to shower. I would recommend maybe mentioning this in details so it does not lead to guests booking and creating difficulties for them. I want to say again, this is personal circumstances but felt should be mentioned. It did not take away the other aspects of our stay, just made bathing more time consuming and fatiguing for us.

Owner very approachable, friendly & helpful. Peaceful, quiet, calming & relaxing cottage with lovely private outside seating area.

This is the most perfect little cottage hidden in the New Forest, with the best owners, who answered every question we had and also gave us some handy tips for the area.
The cottage was beautifully decorated, with so much art, immaculately clean, well equipped and so homely. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for a short break, including a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge!
There was a dog & child friendly pub within a short walking distance, with great food & drink. The surroundings are just breathtaking and idyllic.
The wifi was an added bonus, and everything worked as it should have, and if there was anything we didn't understand, the manual guide provided by the owners explained everything in detail! Just cannot fault our stay here and will be definitely returning.

The place was simply idyllic. The setting was magical. Tana (our host) was just lovely and so helpful. We stayed for three wonderful days and would have loved to stay longer if it had been possible.
Not one thing. no complaints at all.

Self catered breakfasts only by choice, Basic foods +welcome bottle left for us. Meal in the local, 200 m away was fine pub grub. Attended a wedding in the church on Friday, 400m away. (reason for the stay). Restful stay in charming accomcodation.

Beautiful little country cottage in a perfect, quiet location with walking routes on the door step. Close to Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu - the prettiest part of that forest. The cottage has everything you could possibly want and we will definitely be back!
Nothing at all. It was perfect.
