Free dancing classes were fun, the area is quiet but a touristy square with bars/restaurants just a block away.
Our double room smelled of mold and the only window was giving into the common area- it was busy during the day but damn impossible at night, when everyone comes back from partying at different hours, always very loud and inconsiderate, well we never slept well. Asked to switch for the free room next door facing inner courtyard (double with the same shared bathroom), was denied. The room stayed free the whole time. 5nights out of 6 there was only icy water to shower. For two consecutive days we found several bugs (!!) in every bag of breakfast cereal that each of you receives in the morning and even though we pointed it out to the staff immediately, they didn’t do anything about it and served us the same stock all again the following day. Actually there was no real staff available, only volunteers all the time, who were very nice when you were wondering where to go to party but clueless and useless when you presented them with a problem. The place could use a manager.

A friend recommended Oasis and I couldn't be happier to have stayed there! It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, the hostel is spacious, clean, tidy and nice, plus the staff is super friendly. It has a billboard with varied activities that you can do every day, it is very easy to make friends there and to learn salsa, as they offer lessons. They have a spacious kitchen, plenty of areas to chill at and a terrace with a bar. Without a doubt my favorite place on this trip, I hope to be back soon!!

A very nice hostel with a friendly staff and guests. It has a nice vibe, offers free salsa and yoga classes.
It’s a bit too noisy. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Oasis Hostel is great - social, but not a party hostel. Several common spaces to hang out in. I also enjoyed the salsa/bachata classes they offered. Staff was awesome and very helpful.

Nice stay with some very friendly people. Very good facilities
Only two male bathrooms, breakfast was OK and rooms get very hot with heaps of mosquitos understandable

Good hostel beds, dance classes were fun and the dance teachers brought the vibes.
Absolutely forbidden to have a conversation anywhere in the hostel after midnight (enforced by but not followed by volunteers). Kitchen also closed to get water at night.
Every single day of our stay the hostel was full of tradesmen with no heads up or acknowledgement of the inconvenience from the hostel. Some days the bathrooms had no doors, sometimes rooms didn't have doors, bathrooms were then out of order for paint to dry, furniture was on the daily relocated.

The vibe there was really nice and staff was really friendly. The dancing classes were the reason I came and they were excellent.

Best hostel I've ever stayed in! Such nice people, staff and guest, very clean and well organised, cheap, exceptionally great salsa lessons.
Everything was perfect - felt like home as soon as we arrived. Not a party hostel, but a sociable and relaxed vibe.

It is a very lovely place to stay. Everyone is very helpful and nice.
There are a lot of activities that you can do :)
It would be nice if there are some hooks in the bathrooms so you can hang your towel and clothes.

The staff was super friendly and made sure everyone was included to go out in groups if you feel unsafe. The hostel had a lot of places to just hang out and have some alone time if needed .
The kitchen closes at night

The private room with my own patio could not be more comfortable for some remote work and exploring the city. Entire place is very well run and operated, and very easy to stay there long term. Cleanliness is maintained throughout. Staff is very pleasant and kind (including not rushing with the payment the moment I arrive). The private room is above and beyond in its comfort, even an office chair was found, which made working even more comfortable. Overall the entire hostel is tastefully decorated. Location in my view is the best for staying in Cali. A little bakery 50 meters away was very nice, and a lot of restaurants/supermarkets accessible within 10-15 mins walk, in what feels a very safe area, day and night.
What surprised me is that the kitchen is literally closed until 8am, but staff were kind enough to let me get my fruit/coffee before that time. The crowd is on the younger side and a bit party-oriented. Generally not a big deal, having earplugs helped sleep through the late night party one of the nights.

The quality of people you meet here will make your trip 10x better. The facilities are clean, I work online and had no problem taking video conferences, and there was always things to do with people you meet here.
There was no negatives.

The people are awesome and the atmosphere is great. Everyone is just really welcoming and you can tag along with all activities, but you can also have the privacy you like (we had a private room).
I hope they renovate the terrace. It's a beatiful space but it looks a little shabby now. Was not a problem though.

The room was nice as were the bathrooms. The hostel has some of the best social areas we have gone across in South America (not just Colombia) and we absolutely loved our stay meeting new people. The staff are fantastic and the hostel offers lots of activities and hostel events (eg 80% of our hostel went to La Topa after a free salsa lesson provided by the hostel)
Breakfast is free but you have to make it yourself, the fan in the room is loud!

Loved it all. Great social vibe but there are places to have your own space too. Great staff and volunteers who are friendly and make you feel welcome.
Kitchen to make your own food.
Free dance classes!
Close to Parque del Perro where there are loads of nice restaurants and bars.
The hostel is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood
Nothing!

This hostel was definitely one of my favorites.
The breakfast was really nice - wasn't based on the cheapest items in the supermarket - nice brown bread, eggs, good granola and spreads.
Lots of nice communal areas to enjoy.
Big shower with hot water.
The staff really go out of their way to help you (literally).
The only thing was the ladder for the bed was really uncomfortable to get on and off the bed from, but that really isn't such a big issue.
