Hotel itself is great, comfy & clean, but you'll have to walk to it.

Room was really nice, great view, comfortable bed, lighter duvet set to go with the hot summer season was a nice touch, all the hot water you could want or need. They'd even left the ice trays in the mini fridge freezer filled so we had ice available right as we arrived. The room itself really is what you'd expect it to be based on the pictures and reviews. They also let us store our bags for free at reception after we checked out which was nice.

We really didn't like that they list the place as having parking, but they don't actually have parking. What they do have is a parking discount with a nearby parking lot, that you have to request beforehand. The hotel is pedestrian access only actually. You can't even stop outside with a car to drop someone off with the bags before you go on to park elsewhere either, because it's pedestrian access only. You WILL have to walk to the place. We ended up using the Q parking lot that's slightly to the north of the hotel, it's a little bit pricy compared to others in the area but it has security and such in place and was a convenient location, you also avoid the madness of the roads around the shopping center nearby with the trams. It was also a pretty straight forward walk between there and the hotel. Bathroom overall was very nice, but a tiny bit cramped feeling, also a lot of water leaked out from under the shower door, there was a gap where the door had a folding corner type thing and the rubber between the glass and the shower floor didn't cover that section, sooo, yeah, it leaked a decent amount - but the shower itself was spacy enough, I didn't feel like I was in a yoga class trying to shave my legs you know.

Fabelhaftes Gebäude und Hotelzimmer in guter Lage zu Motel One Preisen :)

Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Fußgängerzone ist also gut auch zu Fuß zu erreichen und alle möglichen Aktivitäten wie Restaurants oder Bars sind nicht weit weg. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Das Bett und die Couch waren super bequem. Vom Zimmer waren wir wirklich sehr beeindruckt. Auch das Gebäude von außen ist sehenswert. Das Treppenhaus in die einzelnen Etagen ist ebenfalls im alten Stil gehalten und beeindruckt!

Das Frühstuck wurde uns mit Crossaint und Kaffee angebriesen und zu unserer Verwunderung gab es dann auch nicht mehr als Crossaint und Kaffee aus dem Automaten, hier hätte wir uns deutlich mehr gewünscht. Außerdem mussten wir beim Check in relativ lange anstehen, da das Hotel nur 2 Counter zum Ein- und Auschecken hat.

Good spacious room, comfy bed , good location for Ao arena and city centre

So we booked a superior double room and end up with a room with a disabled toilet in which we never request and I'm pretty sure you usually have to request a room like that and made me and my partner very annoyed as when we asked at reception they said what room you booked the layouts are different. So be prepared if you book a superior double room you my end up with a disabled bathroom layout

The place to stay for a concert at AO arena and visit to National Football Museum

Great location near AO Arena. Room was clean and comfortable. Sofa in room with TV that could be turned from facing sofa to facing bed. Fridge, microwave, hob, kettle and iron makes life that bit easier. Based on old Corn Exchange there are plenty of eateries, Arndale centre across the road and good transport links.

Great place to stay

Stunning building at The Corn Exchange, great central location, easy to get to and great staff. Very safe and great facilities in room.

Bad water pressure on shower, issue with room air-conditioning and having a glass bathroom door isn't great when traveling with friends!

Beautiful large rooms, get a room on the 3rd or 4th so to be away from restaurants music

central location, beautiful building and surroundings. room was amazing. anywhere else this was be a £200+ room.

my room was 157 and it was above the restaurants below and so you heard the noise of the music or more the base of the music of the restaurants below. that went on until 11.30pm.

Great apartments, but front desk staff should be better trained and air conditioning needs fixing

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible and surrounded by various amenities. It is situated within a vibrant restaurant mall, allowing guests to have a diverse range of dining options right at their doorstep. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to tram stops and landmarks makes it an ideal choice for those who want to explore the city on foot. Inside the room, we were pleased to find a well-equipped kitchen, providing us with the convenience of preparing our own meals. In terms of breakfast, the hotel offered different hot drinks and fresh pastries, as well as a simple option of oatmeal that guests could prepare in their own room. While this may not be the most extensive breakfast selection, it allowed for a quick and convenient start to the day. Considering our overall experience, we would rate this hotel a 5 out of 10. Despite some issues during check-in and the air-conditioning problem, we acknowledge that the location, amenities, and the room itself were satisfactory.

Before arrival, we had requested a room without stairs due to personal requirements. Upon arrival, the receptionist initially informed us that such a room was unavailable, nevertheless, we were able to find a solution and secure a room that met our needs. While she may not have appeared overly welcoming or respectful, we appreciated her assistance in accommodating our request. The room itself was generally comfortable and met our expectations. However, we did experience an issue with the air-conditioning, as it did not effectively cool the room despite our attempts to adjust it. Unfortunately, when we called the front desk after to address the problem, our call went unanswered. The breakfast is kind of very limited take away meal that you need to arrange and cook in your room.

I lost years of my life getting in and out

Room was spacious with a nice kichenette area. And the reception had snacks to purchase and complimentary drinks.

The hotel has a very confusing layout in a donut shape that resembles a maze taking 3 minutes from the middle rooms to the lift. Also the hallways are carpeted and there are unexpected stairs so goodluck dragging and carrying luggage. The staff offered no help despite having multiple pieces of luggage that I couldn't carry on my own. It took me 10 minutes to get them to and from my room. It's a nice place but make sure you ask for a room close to the entrance if you don't want to waste half a day navigating through the hotel.

Exceptional

The property was very modern and excellent location. Apartment was very spacious and had everything that was needed from towels, cutlery, pots and pans and even a dishwasher! We didn’t use any of this as we were only there 1 night for a concert but would definitely re-book.
