First of all there were toenail clippings on top go comforter and the room smelled bad upon waking in cottage 3. We were told by a manger while only needing 1 night from hurricane threat Idalia that we should book 2 nights and they would refund the other night if we didn’t need it. I received 3 phone calls after we left. 1 said we would get a refund and then the next stated we would not and still be charged for a night we didn’t even stay. Poor communication and gouging people leaving for storms. I don’t recommend staying here.

Check in was great, staff offered us info about the area. The balcony was great, but the heat was horrible. We were there on a Thursday with a funeral the next day. I do know that area can get loud when the bars and restaurants are rocking, but it was very relaxing for us.
The window shade in the bathroom was awkward to close, as people frequently would look in when at the stoplight.

Nice updated facility. Only suggest would be to put a hand bar for getting in and out of rooms with tub showers.
No complaints, everything was very nice .

It was a nice cottage
We booked a room with a walk in shower. We got a room with a high tub. My elderly father slipped and fell. We had to check out early because he hurt his hip. I told the man at the desk. He clearly didn’t care. Lost 300.00 and gained a medical bill.

there was nothing I did not like, all was great

The personalized service was second to none. Each of the staff were eager to know you and how they could optimize your stay. It was very pleasant.
The room was a little tight and the AC made an odd noise.

Location to everything was great. Very comfortable bed and clean facility
Did not receive a ground floor room per request . No elevator and had to carry bags up and down wooden stairs . Wasn't notified of any amenities until asking. They had bicycles for use and no one told us anything about any of the facility nor amenities. Breakfast was hard to get to so we grabbed a muffin and ran. Way overpriced for what we received more like a 99$ a night motel

The location was near entertainment and multiple dining experiences. It was near the beach and was in a clean, safe environment.
I could clearly hear the adjacent occupants children playing and screaming throughout the evening into the night.

Great location in Port Saint Joe. everything is newly renovated, very clean and comfy bed.
They do not have an elevator and therefore should not charge extra for a ground floor room. I spoke with them about this and they did adjust the price for us. Additionally, the room we were in had no window!

Loved the historical aspect. Beautifully maintained property full of charm.
Pay attention to the square footage of the rooms when choosing your room type. I didn’t and was very disappointed when we entered the room. You could barely move with two adults and luggage in the room. Our room faced the backside of the hotel and the view was all of HVAC equipment. Super pricey for what you get.

I didn't have breakfast there.

Always have loved the central location. You literally walk across the street to Reid where all the shops and restaurants are located.Grocery store (Piggly Wiggly & McDonalds are also in walking distance. As soon as you walk in The Port Inn you are pleasantly greeted by a staff member. Will always return again.
The free breakfast really didn't appeal to me because, except for the individual cereal boxes & packets of oatmeal, the muffins was processed along with the donuts. There is a fantastic bakery on Reid Street where everything is made from scratch. They have muffins, scones and slices of quiche. Course, there are many other items. This would be a great plus to serve the guests staying at The Port Inn.

We always enjoy staying at the Port Inn. This was our fifth stay and it was just as good as the first. The staff are always very welcoming, polite and helpful. The rooms are always clean and inviting. This is our go to place to stay whether for a night or a long weekend.

Everything, but especially the spacious patio. Large enough to provide an outdoor room and corral toddlers.
I can’t think of a thing we didn’t like.
