The Cotswolds are a range of hills in west-central England, sometimes called the 'Heart of England'. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Great proximity to the village and many other great villages and regional highlights. The cottage had plenty of room for our family of 5 and just the right amount of everything. Everything was very clean and organized. The back yard is great too as is the view of the pasture and sheep from the front. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay here. The cottage was lovely, comfortable and quiet. We'd wake up in the morning to the sound of a horse slowly walking up the road. Kind of perfect for a stay in the Cotswolds. And we so enjoyed being able to walk past the pastures on our way into town. All in all- a perfect stay.

The listing was accurate, it was very easy to book, and communicate with owner. The beds were comfortable but somewhat soft and the kitchen was completely stocked. The town and the footpaths were so beautiful. The only complaint I have is about the pre cleaning. If I was the owner I would be disappointed in my cleaning company. I wish I could have stayed longer!!!

Lovely home in Broadway
We had a great time at the property. Easy check-in and great communication with the host. The property was really lovely. Spotlessly clean. The three bedrooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary amenities and more. We had our breakfast out in the back interrupted only by the bleating of the sheep. The location was awesome - easy to walk into town yet quiet in the evening. One of the best properties we've stayed in and we've stayed in a lot. 5 stars!

Amazing stay
My family came all the way from Dallas to stay at this lovely cottage. Our trip revolved around the schedule of when this cottage was available. I am a big fan of Agatha Christie and it has been my dream to stay in a thatched-roof cottage and this one gave all of us the best experience. Everything was available for us and the owner thought of every convenient and necessary factor to make it easy and enjoyable for us. Thank you! We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful well equipped cottage. We had a a wonderful stay.
The cottage was beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. We were 6 adults - plenty of space to cook eat and relax. So many touches and useful items to make our stay special. We parked 3 cars and then walked into Broadway just a 5-10 minute walk. Great communication and would like to thank Elizabeth for being so accommodating.

Idyllic location
Lovely place for a family Christmas. If we stayed in Broadway at other times of year we would probably eat out mostly, but if you want to do much cooking there, take your own roasting dishes etc. It didn’t matter to us, but for info, there is no microwave oven.
Definitely take torches (we have them on our phones, but at this time of year you need them for children) for evening walks home from the village. Also take your own shower gel, shampoo etc as it’s a bit random what’s there. On balance, excellent rental property in a really beautiful village full of lovely shops, eateries & galleries. We will certainly consider returning.

Unspoiled Cotswolds
This cottage is very beautifully appointed and decorated, and perfectly located for walking to town (not to mention walking to Buckland Manor and to Snowshill), and to touring famous Cotswold villages such as Chipping Campden and Stow in the Wold. A marvelous place!

Fabulous weekend spent in the Cotswolds
This cottage was the perfect place to stay for our family celebrations. Spacious, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in the perfect location. It’s only a short walk into Broadway which is full of great little shops and pubs, and we loved waking up to the view of sheep in the fields every morning!
The cottage itself has everything you want and it instantly felt like home for the weekend. The only improvement that could be made would be the water pressure in the showers - it wasn’t a problem at all for us, but I can imagine it would be a little frustrating if you were staying for longer than a weekend. However we appreciate it’s an old cottage and it wasn’t an issue for us during our stay as we staggered showers and made sure no other water was being used at the same time.
We had a wonderful weekend spent at the cottage and we would love to return in the future!

Charming Cottage with Authentic Experience
As stated, this is a 400 year old cottage. The walk into town is short and enjoyable. We slept with the windows open and awoke to the sounds of our neighbor sheep. The house is complete with character and very well decorated.
As with any older home, there are a few issues. The wet room in the master bedroom was musty, so we simply all shared the main upstairs shower. The half bath on the 1st floor was fine. I have a mold allergy and had no problems in the house. One of our kids was unsettled by the presence of cobwebs, but I felt that the character made our stay worth any of this.

Broadway cottage
Thoroughly loved the cottage in Broadway. There were 6 of us and everyone thought the rooms were nice. The small shower in the master room is a little hard to work with, the other shower was fine. Very close to a pub and the quaint downtown - short walk. Also short car drive to other villages in the area. We really loved the area and enjoyed our time there.

Loved the area, cottage very pretty and well kept, garden was very overgrown, water pressure poor
We had a lovely time , the cottage is beautiful but the garden was completely overgrown , the lawn above our ankles and the flowerbeds knee high in a tangle of weeds which was a shame as it was a lovely weekend at the end of May and we were outside much of the time . The garden furniture was a bit insubstantial for families .
The bathrooms were well fitted but there was a small boiler and insufficient water supply for six people and the bath which was tiny took ages to run .There was nowhere to hang a coat .
We had a super time ! Thank you

excellent location
Four members of my family were able to stay three lovely nights in this charming Cotswold's cottage. It was as pictured. The shared spaces of the kitchen and living room were big enough for us to stretch out. The furniture is a bit firm. The mattresses are a bit soft. The bathrooms are a bit odd. But, we were totally comfortable nonetheless! We absolutely loved watching the new lambs and their mamas right out of our window. Walking into Broadway was easier than driving and parking. We hiked the Cotswold's way each day. We enjoyed all but one meal in town. The weather was perfect. The English countryside was everything we had hoped it would be! I'd stay here again and again...just don't expect it to be a plush hotel. Instead, respect the age and clever adaptations the owner has accomplished!

Beautiful Cottage
Well, what a beautiful cottage 1 Pye Corner is! Beautifully decorated and appointed – a real treat to stay in such a quintessential English country cottage in the Cotswolds. Perfectly situated to explore such gems as Stowe, Bourton on the Water, and Burford.
Our party of four ate at The Swan in Broadway, which was lovely. (Please note that even in early March we had great difficulty getting a table anywhere in Broadway on the Saturday night, so I would advise you pre-book.)
I only have 2 very minor quibbles. Firstly, the cottage is further out of the village than the description led us to understand (possibly just my misinterpretation). We thought we could wander in, and you probably could in the summer months, but it is an un-lit road, only partially with a footpath and fairly fast, though infrequent, traffic. We did order a cab, but again had trouble booking one over the weekend. The only other minor problem was the consistency of the water temperature when taking a shower. It seemed to change from stone cold to scalding frequently. It might be better to schedule your showers amongst your party, as I think that was probably the problem. Neither of these negative points were a major problem (just think a review should be honest), and I would certainly stay here again.
Lovely cottage. Lovely location. Great choice.

Beautiful, picturesque and fabulous location.
I stayed at 1 Pye Corner Cottage with a group of school friends (we are in our 50's now). It couldn't have been more perfect. The cottage is beautifully located with stunning views all around. The location is perfect - only a 10 minute walk into Broadway. The interior of the cottage has been done very tastefully and comfortably. It was spotless and very well maintained. Broadway itself is stunning and we found plenty to do in the way of shopping and eating! Great places to eat are The Swan pub and Broadway Hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

Stunning cottage, beautiful touches, top location
We stayed at Pye Cottage as a group of friends in mid-February. We arrived late at night and, even in the darkness, were so impressed by how beautiful the cottage is - it is much larger than the photos do justice to and is absolutely so sweet and quaint. The interior has a perfect mix of modern fixtures (excellent, large kitchen with all mod cons, good bathroom, handy shower room), as well as lovely design touches that really do justice to the space. It feels like staying in a boutique hotel - cosy but with excellent design. The open plan living room has super comfy sofas and is a great space to relax with friends.
The location is perfect - a short walk into Broadway but just far enough out to feel you are really in the Cotswold country. There is also a big garden in the back, which I'm sure would be wonderful in spring.
We had an excellent stay and plan to return. Thanks Elizabeth for a wonderful trip! One of our favourite rentals in the UK!
