Rien.

The owner and his family were super friendly, i really felt like at home.
Clean bathroom and showers.
Convenient location, combini in 10 meters
2 AC outlets in a room is too little.
Some shelves\closet will be also very useful

Friendly people, very central located but quiet
This inn was specied as Ryokan by booking.com, this is misleading. It is rather a Japanese type of a youth hostel.
Wifi was very poor,

10 min walk from the train station, the location was good, there are a lot of bus lines around.
We chose to stay in the modern building, but other than the new furniture there is no big difference. The shared bathroom was nice.

Friendly staffs. Comfortable bath. Clean room. Located close to Kyoto Station and walkable using underground passage through Porta Mall.

This is a private hotel with rooms in traditional japanese style. The host was very kind and gave me a kimono as well. The hotel is located nearby railway station and is a good point to reach main attraction around by foot or by bus.
Bathroom with hot water was on the other floor.

Owner was super friendly and understanding. The location is amazing, super close to Kyoto station. The price is a steal.

This is a traditional ryokan with tatami floor and futon bedding. The room size is larger than other hotels in that price range. The hosts are very helpful. The small, one-person hot bath is nice.
There is no full blind on the window, so there is light when morning comes. I used a plane mask to finish my night comfortably.

The place is just a few minutes walk to the Kyoto station. There is a nearby garden and temple which are beautiful.
The bathroom was clean, but the shower room was not.
I rented a single ryokan room. Inside was the futon set, a tv, a small table, a trash bin and a place to hang clothes.
I stayed in the 2nd floor. There was a toilet at each level but the shower/bath rooms are in the first floor. The drains were a bit clogged.
No mirrors in the room.

The Location is very convenient to reach all sorts of tourist spots. The host was very friendly and eager to answer questions about Kyoto and made this stay very comfortable. I was happy to have tried out staying in a traditional Japanese Room.
The walls are quite thin so the sounds of people using shared facilities (washing area) is very audible and you can hear people talking in the other rooms.

The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Was happy to offer recommendations for my first visit to Kyoto. Great location and easy to get to from the station.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The ryokan has two buildings, and I stayed in the newer one (I was given a choice). Rooms were clean and quite attractive. The asking price for a night's stay is crazy low, especially for Kyoto -- this may have been the best value for money I've ever had in 10 years of traveling through Japan. As a budget ryokan there are no meals, but there's a nice shared kitchen similar to a hostel. The shared bath is a Japanese-style bath, not a group bath, and the toilets are washlet style. The location is quite convenient to Kyoto Station and all the surrounding temples and gardens.
I was in the new addition with very nice, clean rooms, tatami and futons. However, the staff really should clean out the air filters throughout the property. The air conditioner and fan filters in each room (shared bathrooms, for example) were quite obviously (visibly) clogged with dust. I don't usually have allergies, but I did have several sneezing fits that I'd attribute to this. Pretty much the only reason I didn't give the place a 10.

The location is hard to beat and staff a very friendly. Even though we had to leave after one night, the staff let us store our luggage until we. could check into the hotel and went out of their way to help us find out where to go to visit Tokyo. We really appreciated the hospitality.
salt, the smoking section is inside the hotel lobby which means we ended up smelling cigarette smoke in the room on the first night. With 3 children (one is a young baby), we had to leave the hotel. We were promptly reimbursed for all but one night (since we stayed there one night).
For those coming from abroad, they only accept cash, Alipay, and Paypay, no credit cards.

It was wonderful! The host was extremely kind and talkative. I loved talking with him. The ryokan was super quiet and futon really comfortable. I slept like a baby
I was satisfied with everything. For that price I got more than I expected

The owner is very kind and the bed is comfortable.
There is a convenience store opposite the hotel, also a bus stop around the hotel.
The transportation is very convenient.
