We used it as a day rental before red eye flight. Taxi was 35$ each way. Sunset restaurant across the street. Beach access easy and decent pool on site.

Beautiful garden and lovely layout of rooms around the pool. Across the road from entrance to the beach. Loved all the animals
It was a great stay over for what we needed, no negatives

This is a boutique hotel very humble… perfect for 1/2 nights but not a full week.

bigger beds would be nice

Close to Papeete airport. Working aircon. Our room was relatively quiet - furthesr away from the main road.
Located next to a road with heavy traffic, crowded onsite parking.

It feels like a step back into my childhood but in all the right ways. Simply decorated, the rooms were spacious with the added bonus of the small terrasse. The bathroom is simple but does the job and the pool was simple and warm and a nice little spot to cool off. It is simple but yet it felt cosy and the owners are just so kind and helpful. You cannot fault them.
It is a small establishment, right by the main road and a Mobil station but I didn’t feel too bothered by the traffic. It is right across the road from a nice beach access with snorkelling and not far from a supermarket and more (walking distance).
You know when you go there that it will be simple so unless your expectations are resort-like, there is nothing much that you can dislike about this pension. Maybe some glasses in the room (those without the kitchen) would be a nice addition but really not a biggie

Fantastic little oasis. Excellent welcome. Owner is so helpful, friendly and...flexible. Definitively recommend a visit to anyone in need of a restful, well located abode whilst in Papeete.
Had to leave 😀

nothing special.
stated on the booking.com ( beachfront) but you have to walk about 300 meters and cross the main road to get to the beach. Can’t enjoy the water since it was rocky.

This is a nice little property with a lovely swimming pool at a very nice temperature and surrounding foliage and gardens, friendly dogs and cats and some chickens. It is family friendly and the owners and staff are very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was good with fresh fruit, great banana bread, eggs, coffee and more. The rooms have cooking facilities and comfortable beds, air conditioning and a covered porch with chairs and table. There is a gas station next door with an ATM and good selection of bread, fresh produce, canned goods etc. There is a small mall with drugstore, cafe, good size grocery store etc, just up the road in easy walking distance. A restaurant is over the road by the beach and overlooks the beach for sunsets. The public beach has calm water due to the reef further out and is good swimming with a sand and rock beach. Overall great value for Tahiti and a pleasant stay for a few days. (The taxi from the airport cost us 4000XPF including a tip)
If you are not normally a city dweller and used to noise then ask for a room further from the road, because there is some early morning traffic noise as people head to the city. A wall between the road and the pension really helps and during the day and evening it is not much of an issue. We have a white noise app on our computer and used it successfully on a unit that was both close to the road and the adjacent gas station.

The property is located a very short walk from a great snorkeling beach. The hosts were lovely and helpful.
The property is quite basic. It has what is needed and it is very modest.

Our ghost Vincent was exceptionally helpful. The driver from our tour company was an hour late to take us to the airport (fortunately we made the flight). Vincent helped us in calling the tour company a half dozen times and eventually called cab for us. He did much more than what we could ask for.
The location was excellent - 5 minutes walk to the popular beach and 2 minutes walk to a 24/7 gas station with a large selection of food and supplies

Lovely setting. Nice clean pool.
A bit noisy being so close to the road but we understand they are in the process of trying to soundproof the rooms.

Location is nice inside the Pension even if in urban context. Beach is just across the street. It is nice for snokling. Host is very good and familiar.
WiFi is good only in rooms close to reception (my one was far so not a good WiFi experience)
