Evening meal was amazing.
Beds comfortable, room well maintained.
In a very nice setting.
Breakfast was small in portion of included breakfast.
Other guests shouting in corridors till early hours, no one from hotel on hand.

Lovely accommodation, great location for Alton Towers. Great value for money with great full English breakfast

Loved the location and and surrounding area.
Nothing of note during our stay
4.3
Great friendly service, lovely food and fantastic location for our Alton Towers trip.
Not much to fault on,a refrigerator in the room would’ve been great but it’s not that usual and a full shower is my personal preference…minor things which certainly wouldn’t deter me from staying again.

The staff were friendly and helpful with any requests.

Always a pleasure to stay here! Charming staff who are super helpful. Great breakfast served early, due to early start.
4.3
The bed was comfy and the room was nice. We also really enjoyed the breakfast and the location was lovely and remote but also close to everything we wanted to do.
The water pressure was weak but not too much else to fault

We cycled to this hotel, which I think is a little hidden gem. The proprietors were very welcoming. On arrival they made sure we were comfortable with drinks, and that our cycles were safety locked up. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bed I had was comfortable for my liking, and I had the most peaceful sleep for along time. The catering was great, with the hotel restaurant providing a basic but very well-prepared menu of traditional bar meals, and breakfast. A very good selection of beers from the bar to quench our thirst was also on offer. The surrounding countryside is fabulous in this part of the country, and I would definitely recommend a visit to this hotel if you want to relax for a few days.
Nothing, it was a very good value for money experience, and probably one of the best I have experienced for a while. I am not really a fan of shower over bath arrangements, but I think this is a pretty typical set up for most hotels of this type.

large spacious bedroom. Clean. And staff friendly.
Bedroom a little basic and bed was for me too springy- could be just my taste though! No views from windows.
4.3
Lovely place and lovely location
Very friendly attentive staff
Breakfast was brilliant and had veggie options for fry up, along with cereals and croissants.
Only 15 min taxi to foxtail barns for a wedding we attended
Golf course free for residents

Lovely clean, comfortable and warm room. Great views. And a lovely fresh breakfast!
We would have liked a proper shower in our room (there was a shower in the bath, but it was integrated with the tap so you couldn't stand up)

Booked this for family so going off their feedback. Hotel and grounds were stunning. Room was beautifully decorated as they were on their honeymoon. Staff went above and beyond for this so thank you. Food was 10/10 and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

It was very quiet, the golf course attached was beautiful just to walk through, very cosy, staff and breakfast were lovely!
The water pressure was a bit low on the shower, but it was lovely and hot and didn't matter too much!
4.3
Nice and inviting, lovely staff
the beds are a bit small and you can here everything from the room above.
4.3
Everything was wonderful from the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the food and the beautiful golf course.

Great location, friendly staff, nice room.
Away for a special birthday and the room was decorated for the celebration. Excellent food.
Unfortunately it seemed that the room above ours had it's bathroom directly over our bed so when the people upstairs got up at 6:30 and used all of the facilities it was very loud.
Also the squeaky beds are entertaining.

I did not like turning up at 8 o’clock at night to be told that the chef has been sent home due to no customers and to keep costs down but we were ok to order a just eat or takeaway after travelling two hours
slugs in the bedroom complained the next day and was told there is nothing we can do about the local wildlife
even though we were two floors up
trip hazard from the man lounge to the bedrooms the door was jammed open so could not see the sign and no hazard tape on the floor so I fell with my drinks

We had a ground floor room and upstairs were very loud. However there were earplugs provided.

The staff are friendly and polite, the rooms are clean and comfortable with amazing decoration. The food in the restaurant both at night and at breakfast was exceptional. Location is beautiful and not far for those that are going to alton towers
Shower wasn't powerful enough neither was the hair dryer for my other half, a couple of visable dead wasps on the window ledge in the breakfast eating area but not something to make a big fuss about.

My sister and I had an evening meal .. beer battered fish and chips which has to be the best fish and chips ever. We both enjoyed the food so much we sent compliments to the Chef.
The breakfast was also very nice I asked for scrambled eggs instead of fried egg and the eggs were lovely.
Only a very small gripe would be better for the hotel to provide a breakfast menu. This would be for their benefit to avoid waste. We both ordered full English not knowing what we would get (apart from my egg order)My sister had black pudding and mushrooms both of which she does not like as such left on plate.
