Great place, highly recommended

Beautiful cottage, super clean and beautifully appointed. The view is beautiful. It was great to see the kangaroos around the cottage.

Nothing that the owner could have done but it was so muddy that we couldn’t really access the lake and enjoy it.

Beautiful place.

It is a place of peace and quiet. No one disturbs you. Nature at your door.

There was nothing to dislike. It was exactly as described.

The peacefulness and privacy. Having the firepit outside and the log fire inside. Access to the lake and having the canoes was really good. Suggest the boathouse be relocated closer to the water for ease of access. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again.

The kitchen workspace was very small and it was difficult to cook using both hot plates as the frying pan was too big for the surface. The kitchen was insufficiently stocked with not much crockery and cutlery. E.g, 3 forks, 2 Mugs, 2 bowls, no microwave containers and no serving dishes for salads etc. No covered car parking.

Cosy, comfy and we’d come again.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, very clean and well appointed and had such a beautiful view over the property / over the lake. The spa at the front of the cabin taking advantage of the view is a main selling point. We loved being able to explore on the bikes and see all the animals at the property.

We were disappointed that there were ladies riding their horses outside the cabins at sunset - and we could easily be seen through the windows. We had booked with the hopes to have a spa bath together while watching the sunset, but we had to close the blinds for our privacy because of these ladies - which defeated the point of the spa and a view over the lake at the most romantic time of the day? We were also disappointed for the price per night not to have a coffee machine - even a Nespresso machine which the website showed images of.

Amazing honeymoon experience!

Thanks so much for this wonderful and restful honeymoon in cottage 8! It was an absolute dream to wake up while watching the kangaroos and having the lake so close for a kayak tour. We loved the privacy and everything working out so well! Amazing communication and little details! We’re definitely coming back! Absolute recommendation for everyone who wants a secluded getaway.

Secluded, staff instructed well prior to arrival and left us be. Beautiful grounds! Well equipped and comfortable.

Insects, but what can one expect being in a lake cottage. Mosquito coils provided with accommodation though!

Just a good weekend - apart from the rain.

Good - Very quiet and private.

The only problem was the portable electric cooker - it didn't seem to hold its heat and made cooking difficult. However the challenge of cooking was overshadowed by the restful and overall good experience of Lake Weyba Cottages to recharge from a hectic lifestyle.

relaxing, beautiful and romantic, perfect for a couples getaway.

it was quiet, relaxing and the scenery was so beautiful. perfect for a couples get away. me and my wife stayed for our honeymoon and the locations was perfect, only 20 min drive to restaurants and shops.

we ran out of water on our 3rd but was quickly fixed by the staff.

Self service. Amazing cabin with excellent gardens. The colonial theme/feel to the visitor center and grounds The lake. Free use of amenities, bikes etc.

It was cold, it was winter. Will come back in summer to get better use of the lake and grounds.

A real hidden gem, great privacy and quiet location yet only a very short drive to beaches, restaurants and shops (e.g. 7 minute drive to local shopping plaza with supermarket, liquor store, bakery etc.)
