Good But Not Great

- Great view - Well equipped kitchen - Clean place and towels - Close to beautiful beach and a grocery store, cafe - Lots of boardgames and books - TV comes with lots of entertainment - Good split system in the lounge

- Bedrooms can be stuffy when the windows are not opened. When opened, the shaky glasses and noisy blinds due to strong winds led to interrupted sleep. - Cooktop; hard to operate and unresponsive sometimes; only cook when you're not starving. - Very very steep driveway; ensure that your tyres are good especially on a rainy day to climb up the driveway. - Lots of worms/millipedes squirming inside the house during rainy days - Loud beeping longer than 10mins happened twice at the neighbourhood overnight.

Perfect location. Spacious, comfortable house. Great views.

Perfect location with beautiful water views. Amazing sunroom. Tastefully furnished. Spotlessly clean. Very spacious. Well appointed kitchen. Within walking distance to waterfront, bushwalking and cruise company (which is a must!). Saw white wallabies just down the road.

Fantastic location, fun, comfortable and not long enough.

Great location on Bruny Island. Comfortable and well equipped for our stay. Really good communication with Carl, the Caretaker. Nothing was too much trouble. Would really recommend this lovely house on Bruny for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Has literally everything you need. Just like home. Even had a wallaby visit on Day One. Cute.

I would recommend this to any one coming to Bruny. The house has 3 bedrooms, sleeping 2 per room

Location brilliant, with great views. Every possible amenity is there to suit all needs. Spotlessly clean. All kitchen facilities were there. Heaps of extras.

Glorious!

There is everything and more you could want for a relaxing stay. Accommodation was clean and well appointed. The view is exceptional and close to everything Bruny has to offer. We loved our stay and will be back.

Comfortable, and is homely. it has everything you need (plus more!) Great views too.

The second bathroom was outside the house (which was not mentioned anywhere until you are there).

Communication, Accommodation, Views and close to all things we wanted to do were excellent.

The location, accommodation and Views were amazing. The communication from the property owner were exceptional and friendly. The accommodation was exactly as described and felt just like home. Wish we had a longer stay.

Superb location and excellent host

Everything was brilliant. Comfy bed, warm rooms, and beautiful view. Carl was amazing host who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Made our stay perfect.

A lovely relaxing weekend with amazing views over the water

The view from the sunroom was beautiful and everything was very clean 😊

Inside bathroom very small for family of 6 and while the outside bathroom/ laundry was lovely we didn’t want to go outside at night for showers and toilet.

Perfect location with a wonderful view, close access to beach and in walking distance of Bruny Island Adventure Cruises. It is well equipped and very comfortable. We loved sitting in the sunroom!

The driveway is quite steep and curved, but very manageable.

Bruny is a very special place. It's lack of overdevelopment makes it a treasure.

This is a spectacular place to stay and appreciate Bruny Island. Being set up on a small rise above the road gives the house an advantage over many other places. The accommodation itself is very comfortable, clean, and set out very well, with the front sun room being an absolute winner. Sitting in comfortable chairs looking out over the bay towards north Bruny and Mt Wellington in the distance is a great way to spend some time. Just around the corner is the Bruny Island Boat wharf, there is a little well stocked shop a short drive away, and the walk to Fluted Cape is easily reached. The garden is lovely, and it attracts a lot of birdlife. A well set up kitchen means there is no need to worry about travelling to find a meal.

Sweet home in Adventure Bay

A well fitted out house, in a superb location with a wonderful view. The details! Good reading lamps for every bed! A great kitchen. Multiple outdoor dining options around the house. For those of us who like to read, comfortable chairs of all descriptions. And a sun room to watch all the weather.
