Everything! This house was so welcoming and cosy. It had everything we needed and more. The 2 fireplaces kept us warm and the views out of the windows were magic not to mention the wallabies and birds. We did not want to leave.
Nothing.

Location, the house, space and property we're all fantastic. The kitchen was set up above and beyond what you'd expect from rental accommodation and was perfect for self catering. Also perfect viewing if you're lucky enough to have an aurora

The location & house was just as described. Such a lovely peaceful spot and delightfully appointed cottage.
We found it cosy & enjoyed our night in with delicious take away dinner from a local cafe in front of the fire.
We felt sad we were only staying one night.
Will definitely visit again.

isolation, homeliness, wildlife
the gas for cooking, showering/ hot water ran out the night of staying and we were unable to contact anyone on the contact list provided by phone or through the internet.

Very cute cottage with everything you needed for your stay. Lots of wildlife.
It did not state on booking.com that there were stairs to bedrooms as we would not have booked. The stairs were very narrow and steep and as late 70 year olds we could not get our suitcases upstairs for fear of falling. Operated from downstairs and slept upstairs but nowhere to hang clothes downstairs. Just didn't suit our needs and annoyed that it was not advertised as such.

Excellent location, beautifully equipped kitchen, fireplaces with kindling and timber, comfortable bed
Stairs are steep, and you need to take it slowly

Stunning property in a beautiful location. All needs catered for and such a comfortable home.loved the tranquillity and being so close to nature. So close to all the island has to offer too.
Stairs were very steep.

We loved being out of town and in the bush. Place was very comfortable and well appointed.
The pitch of the stair way to the bedrooms. Worked on limiting our need to go upstairs.

The unique character with large windows and rustic charm- lots of seperate seating areas- wallabies and blue wrens around the house every day
The stairs up to bed rooms - needs a banister that is easier to get your fingers around at the top and additional supports to prevent a fall. Cluttered windows sills and kitchen area .

Loved the outside space - plenty of wildlife and a good sense of wilderness. Inside, the real fires were great and the homeliness of the house was much appreciated
I think it would be a fantastic place for a family with kids as the outside space was amazing. However for a couple like us and in the winter when it’s getting dark at 5pm, Wi-Fi provision would have been good as there’s only so much Scrabble you can play! We also felt it needed a bit of a thorough clean.

This was so far the most amazing place I have ever been in my life, in the world. The house is huge and has everything you need for the perfect stay. The fireplace made our night so cozy in a crispy winter night. We were surrounded by nature and wildlife. Kangaroos were literally eveywhere around the house, the kids could not stop staring at the windows. We feel so blessed to have booked this house.
We will cry every night remembering this place. How can someone so lucky to own the place not permanently live there remains a mistery to me.

The House was stocked with everything we needed, which was a pleasant surprise. Beds were firm and comfortable and it was great to have a washing machine and drier especially in winter). Heating was great and the kids loved having a fire. There wasn't much wildlife except a couple of wallabies which was fun to see.
My only negative about this house was the narrow stairs to level 1. Made it a bit hard to carry suit cases or larger items up to the bedrooms.

Beautiful location in peaceful surroundings with native wildlife. Well appointed living area with ample books, games and dvd's.
Stairs were extremely difficult for aging guests. This caused my wife to sleep on downstairs couch since she could not handle the stairs.

The fireplace was amazing and well stocked with wood ready to go. The property was easy to get to but felt far away from everything in a peaceful, secluded way. The property had lots of wallabies and wildlife and was clean and stocked up with the basic kitchen staples. The beds were great and the cottage looked great.
I didn't like leaving, that's it.

No breakfast specifically applied nor were we expecting any.
The stairs were a little steep for us older Australians and this could have been mentioned in the blurb.
