Location suited the reason for our stay and it was nice and quiet being set back off a busy road.
Hosts very attentive and addressed all minor issues immediately.
Minor issues all resolved immediately. No real complaints!

Lovely property, location close to town centre, quirky building in quirky Street.
Parking was a little tricky and allow for guiding in and out.

The property was really well located. The owners were attentive and really quick at replying to any questions we had.
Everything was very clean and the house has all you may need. A lot of extra details around the house that made us feel like at home.
Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!!

We've enjoyed our stay so much, everything was like expected! Beautiful interior, spacious, clean, the beds and pillows are really nice,.. We're certainly coming back to this house!

A truly pleasant surprise to arrive to a warm welcome (Sebastian just happened to be there and couldn't have been nicer), a basket of goodies, a really lovely, spacious, sparkling clean house.
Loved the privacy. An ideal place to come as a couple or a family.
Plenty of seating options if you wanted to have friends join you for breakfast, lunch or supper (inside or out). Very well equipped.
Great entertaining outdoor space even with the car securely parked behind two sets of doors.
Excellent location and a very interesting historic walk into the centre. We came for two nights but would come again for a week and use it as a base for touring the area as so much to see and do around the area.
In life one has to be a realist. Life in someone else's house is never quite like being at home - always things you would prefer to have or not to have, but in truth Cedar House was as near to perfect as it could be and the one tiny niggle we had Simon was there in minutes to sort it out (with a smile)

amazing holiday home.
intrusive host.

Lovely house beautifully decorated and furnished and in a good location for the city
Vehicular access a bit of a squeeze!

The property is gorgeous with beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds and is complete with all the amenities one might need. It is 10 minute walk to the historic part of Canterbury, with lots of restaurants, and so it’s easy to explore. I loved that it has parking as well. Adelle and Sebastian were so quick to respond to any queries. Highly recommended.

Everything! The owners are very nice. They responded to our heater problem very quick. The location is superb nearby the bus station and in walking distance to city center. The house is very clean and comfy. The kitchen is very big and equipped with all you need.

Fabulous location, beautiful interior, had everything we needed, owners thought of everything and we'd go back in a heartbeat.
Floors were slippy for kids.

Lovely surroundings close to centre of town. Very quiet. Very comfortable and everything we needed.
Very good contact with owners and very helpful.

Quiet location, close to the town centre, woods, parks and other amenities.
*A lot of confetti outside. Host explained that it was too difficult to clean after the previous night party. We booked as a family with 1 y.o. child so it was a major issue for us, daughter wanted to put most of them in her mouth. Normal behaviour of little kids but wasn't taken into account by host
*Garden/front yard is extremely small, don't trust the pictures. If you park your medium size car, there will be almost no space for kids to play or adults to hang around
*Your car would be covered with ashes if making BBQ just because space is very tight. You basically cook 50-100cm from your vehicle depending on how you parked
*There's no door to the upper floor of the building. Noises would disturb anyone upstairs who want to sleep. Especially if you have little children. Echo is awful
*We couldn't feel relaxed due to host constantly doing repairs/maintenance just outside the gate

it’s appearance and location were very good.
provided cereal but not milk.

We could park there to reach to the city. There were grocery stores near by. All the rooms are nicely furbished like from interior magazines. The space was enough for a family with 3 children. There were enough dishes, cups, and cutlery.
Both the sleeping rooms were not dark enough to sleep. Upper floor became very warm when all the windows were closed at night. The garage was very narrow to enter for our car with 7 seats.

Great location
Too much light coming in the bedroom from a small blind. Ants in kitchen.
4.7
Very convenient location close to the city centre with shops, restaurants and bus stops within an easy walk. Warm and comfortable. Parking right outside. Helpful owner who came over quickly to sort out a minor problem.
As others have said, the parking spot is tight and tricky to get out of.

The location was excellent for visiting Canterbury on foot. The station is close by and we were spoilt for choice with places to dine out and to visit both in Canterbury and locally in Kent.
The property is set up very well for it's guests and we had everything there that we needed. There were no negative points during our visit.
4.7
Excellent all round but found downstairs quite cold so difficult to sit downstairs at night. Better upstairs.
Difficulties turning car around to exit as our cas quite big. This should be mentioned in description.

Central. Great place to stay wish we could have had more time.

everything seemed to have been thought about - it was really well equipped for my young family.
4.7
The location was good, 10 or so minutes walk from the town and the shops/takeaways along the way were handy. The place was very spacious and the kitchen had all the bits and bobs you would need for your stay. There were a good amount of tv channels available (netflix etc), which was good as the weather was a bit rubbish, so we could stay in and watch Christmas films :-) The place was really warm and it was useful to have a downstairs bedroom for someone with limited mobility.
It was useful to have parking, but it was quite tight getting in and out of the spot, so once we were in we decided we didn't want to bother moving the car again. We didn't find any leaflets for the town or anything, this would have been useful (unless we just didn't find them). The plug in the bath didn't work, which was was disappointing as it meant we couldn't have a bath.

Very spacious, comfortable and great facilities. Perfect location just a short walk to Canterbury centre.
Lucky to have a parking space but the vehicle access is awkward

We had a wonderful stay in beautiful September weather. The property was exceptionally clean and conveniently located within an easy walk to the City centre. Bus routes are also nearby. The hosts Adelle and Sebastian were very helpful.
being located in the old Fire Station, I was disappointed not to have a fireman's pole to slide down from the upstairs bedroom.

Great location so close to the city centre yet quiet and private. Lovely spacious airy areas throughout. Loved all the doors opening to the patio/parking area. Kitchen really clean and well equipped. Beds nice and comfortable
