The hotel is a dream, with houses and the pool in a beautiful tropical garden right between the beach and the cliffs of Lifou. Very good food and excellent bar, the capital of the island can be reached within few minutes, very friendly staff and a well-stocked shop at the reception. I was really happy and would immediately visit again; I wish the entire team of the hotel all the best during these difficult times in New Caledonia.

The staff are amazing, especially Sophie, always so helpful and accomodating, providing service with a smile. You can order Bougna the day before if you like to try the local Kanak traditional dish.

We liked the location, the fact that they had a restaurant that offered A la Carte menu with different specials each day, and for an island that has to transport in most goods the selection was very good
Had a pool that was good for families and offered airport transfers and rent a cars
Across road from small beach but would recommend a car to see all island sites and access larger beaches
The car rental was easy but unlike normal rental they charge per day or there part of ratherthan a 24hr period, I.e we fot the car after lunch on Tuesday returned after lunch Friday, which would normally be a 3 day rental but cost 4 days. Needs a little basic maintenance after covid but didn't effect room

there’s a restaurant in the hotel.
the receptionist is not that accommodating. she looks so tired and not so happy. we have a faulty fridge in our room that they refused to replace as there was no more available “working” fridge in the hotel.

Nice set up for a restaurant and a lounge. The staff is helpful and organises car rentals. The restaurant cooks delicious dinners and lunches. Rooms have air cons.
Breakfast has limited options and is a bit pricey for food provided. No kettle, tea or coffee at a room.

Dinner was great, cocktails were strong and the location is close to Chateaubriand Bay and Luengoni Beach- some of the lost beautiful beaches anywhere.
The car rental experience left a sour taste for us. We booked a car from midday on a Wednesdayto midday on Thursday (24h), yet when the bill came the hotel charged us for two whole days of car rental. I have never ever seen this happen anywhere else in the 40+ countries where I have travelled, nor in Noumea where we we stayed after. I think they are just taking advantage of the lack of competition on such a small island. I would not use them again for this reason.

The staff were very friendly and the services offered, e.g. free wifi, car rental, tour bookings, were extensive and made our holiday easier. The a la carte (lunch and dinner) menu was extensive and meals were always high quality. The location is picturesque but a bit remote.
The breakfasts were stale and had a limited selection, and the rooms were very stuffy. This was partly due to most windows being broken so they couldn't be opened and there not being any fans (ceiling or pedestal). There were also no screens so even opening the 1 window that worked let in mosquitos. Some updates to improve airflow (not just AC which is too cold) would be good.

Lifou is very limited when it comes to accommodation. This was the best we could find for a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and spacious. We couldn’t get a studio, so settled for a deluxe room. There is a mini fridge and we asked reception for a kettle - which they provided.
Very isolated. We had no option other than hire a car to get to shops and around the island. The hotel bar and restaurant is very expensive and you are a captive audience if you don’t hire a car. The room cleaners were lovely, but we found bar and restaurant staff to be surly. The beach across the road is tiny and not as depicted in the hotel photos. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel and it’s about a 15 min drive to We.
