About this house rental

Built in 2006, this wonderful house design was created for families and friends to spend quality time together. Kitchen refresh prior to start of 2022 season. It has an inverted floor plan--the kitchen, dining area and main living area are on the top floor, allowing for the best ocean views of Holden Beach, as well as incredible views of the marsh and ICW. Enjoy Smart Home entry system.

Beach Access - Walk directly across the street from POM Breeze and you will find yourself on Holden Beach. You won't believe how close it is!

House Access - An elevator allows access to all levels of the home. It is handicapped accessible and saves with loading and unloading vehicles. Both living levels are wheelchair and stroller accessible with wide hallways. There are 4 easy walk-in showers and 2 bathtubs. Wi-Fi is throughout home.

Living Areas - The upper living area has a TV, DVD player and lots of space. The views of the ocean are spectacular from the front of the home; the views of the marsh and ICW are also enjoyable from the back of the home. There are games and puzzles to enjoy. The lower living area is a great place to hang, offering a TV and DVD player. Again, enjoy the views of the ocean and the marsh from this level, as well.

Both living areas, front and rear decks and pool area have audio sound system. The lower level sectional is also a queen-size sleeper.

Kitchen/Dining - This well-equipped kitchen is high-end, boasting granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. We have stocked it with everything we have needed when renting beach homes. We believe our kitchen will allow you to be able to cook for your entire crew. The dining table seats 8, 6 barstools are around the kitchen island. A pantry off the kitchen provides extra storage.

Pool & Hot Tub - After a great day at the beach, enjoy some time around the pool or in the hot tub. It is lovely in the evening! Pool is half in the shade; great place to cool off from the beach.

Bedrooms - Four of the bedrooms have their own private bathroom. The fifth bedroom has a shared bathroom off of the kitchen. There is a half bath on the lower level.

Cleaning - The house is thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. In addition, every bed is fully protected with a sealed mattress protector, ensuring you will have a good night's sleep.

Minimum stay - Mid May through Mid September, the minimum stay is 7 days with the change over day being Saturday. Mid September through Mid May, the minimum stay is 3 days.

We visited Holden Beach in July with our stay at Pom Breeze. The home was just as advertised. The rooms and space were great. The location with beach access directly across the street made it easy to go back and forth. Having the pool was a great addition. With an unexpected A/C issue, the owner was extremely responsive, and the resolution was quick. I would highly recommend this rental.

The beach house is laid out very well, with two living spaces and 5 sizeable bedrooms. Also had 5.5 baths. Kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans/dishes/glassware/etc. Beach access directly across the street from the house.

We loved staying here at POM Breeze! It was clean, well stocked, had great views, and just steps to the beach! So relaxing, and just what we were wanting for this trip! All of our questions were answered within minutes (literally!) of sending the message, and the small issues were fixed right then! (Troubleshooting the fans and the a/c) The owner is extremely attentive and it’s obvious he wants you to enjoy your stay as much as you want to enjoy it!! Saving this one in our Favorites in case we are ever back in the area again! Highly recommend this beach house!

Pom Breeze is a wonderful house. Short walk to the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped for family meals. We like that four of the bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms. Having the pool & hot tub is a plus too. Enjoyed playing games, going to the beach & seeing turtle hatch.

The location is great, right across from beach access. The home was clean, but dirty sheets in bags from previous renters left there during the week. Missing TV remotes and no recycling bin, but otherwise no issues with the home. Quick responses from the owner for questions. Kitchen is well-stocked and pool/hot tub clean. Thank you!

Rented this place to celebrate parents/grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. Good location with nice views and easy access to the beach access. Only real complaint is the master bathroom shower. It was an amazing shower, large with 2 shower heads, but not very clean.

We stayed at this property in 2021 and loved it. That is why we booked it a second time. It was as wonderful as the first time. Great location, wonderful views of the beach and marsh, and great floor plan. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Everything in the kitchen you could need. Elevator was very helpful. Owner is wonderful to work with.

Perfect place for multi-generational families. Lots of space, incredibly clean, well-stocked kitchen, serene views, and beach access directly across the street. Everyone had a lovely time and we all agreed the house was great. We fell in love with Holden Beach and will definitely be back.

Pom Breeze is a beautiful home that has everything you need for a family vacation. There are lovely views of the beach and the marsh . The beach access is right across the street. The beach is beautiful and clean. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. We traveled with an infant, toddlers, and adults of all ages including elderly great grandparents. This home accommodated us all perfectly. Having the elevator was great! We recommend Pom Breeze for your stay at Holden Beach.

We had a great time at this house for the week we rented it. The elevator was a must for my father and it also helped with groceries! Our kids really enjoyed the pool and we loved the views and the easy access to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location with ocean view plus back porch view of marsh and waterway which makes for a quieter and less crowded day on the beach. Beach access is directly in front of cottage. This is our second consecutive year staying here, we've stayed from Garden City to Oak Island and this has to be one of the best overall.

This home was by far the nicest our family has ever stayed in. Very clean and attractive. Beach access was great and with 6 littles under 7 it was not difficult to get them to the ocean. My husband being a retired chef likes to cook for the family. Having such a well stocked kitchen was just the thing to help prepare our meals. Our adult children requested we reserve this home again. They loved it too, as well as the grands. Our host was very helpful to resolve a glitch with the fridge and did not hesitate to get a needed replacement. Hope to be back next year!!!

The house is beautiful and has the best stocked kitchen of any house I’ve stayed in. The views of the ocean and the marsh are lovely, and we enjoyed the peace of being on the marsh. The house is tastefully decorated and has very nice furniture. The porch furniture is also nice. The beach access is directly across the street. We hope to stay here again next year. The owner was quick to answer my messages.

The layout of this property was great for 7 of our family that stayed here. Bedrooms large with nice bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, pans etc. to cook in. We used the grill on a couple of occasions. Did not use hot tub or pool as weather was not warm enough. Nice to have beach access right across from house. The one day the sun came out loved sitting on deck facing ocean. Dean was great to work with and easy to contact with questions.

Beautiful house, great location because you can see the ocean from front if house and you are also on the marsh in the back. Beach access directly across beach from road. So very easy getting on and off beach Well appointed kitchen for those who like to cook! The house alarm started to chirp due to batteries in some of the smoke detectors getting low or drained. Owner very responsive but it continued to chirp on and off throughout week. Maintenance man changed batteries in some but then in a day or two, some others must’ve been getting low. So owner gave us code to disarm the house alarm each time it would begin chirping. It would also be helpful to have keyless access to house from basement level so bikes and beach stuff can be easily stored there Lots of up and down steps otherwise. Lovely vacation on Holden Beach. Would definitely rent the house again.

The pictures really don't do justice :) I was pleasantly surprised with how nice, clean, and roomy this house was. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool and with the beach access directly across the street, it was as good as beachfront. It was not difficult for my toddler or my low-mobility grandpa to get to the beach or around the house. We had to watch the 1yr-old near the stairs and pool but everywhere else was kid-friendly. The washer broke during our stay and the owner ordered a replacement that was delivered the next day! He was so responsive and helpful! I appreciate that we didn't have to go without. Thanks for hosting us!
