The properties are in a beautiful, quiet location, and have everything you need for your stay, including a well equipped kitchen and a bottle of wine to welcome you!
The hostess was very welcoming and accommodating, showing us how to warm up the rooms when the weather turned cold.
Nothing - everything was prefect.
4.5
A delightful self-catering apartment in quiet countryside, near to splendid views, on a side lane with next to no traffic. It helps to bring along an Ordnance map that shows the byways, if you wish to visit the historic sights with minimal driving. Our hostess was charming and most helpful, and even brought in free meals for one evening, charging very reasonably on another. The flat was beautifully equipped with everything one could need, with a generous range of starter items in the kitchen. Arrival information was helpfully sent well in advance, with supermarkets etc. listed in the surrounding towns. Our distinguished 92-year uncle said he had never had a better holiday.
The side turning lies just off the top of Corkscrew Hill, and despite all help offered, the correct main road was somewhat hard to locate, since it is not shown on every map. (In fact it is part of the main road south.)

Loved the grounds, well maintained with beautiful gardens and view. The Burren location was exceptional. We wish we would have had more time to enjoy the location. Beds were comfortable, kitchen reasonably well stocked….the bottle of wine was much appreciated. A big thank you to Susan for her assistance with our car issues, offering to sort out a back up plan should one be needed.
Not a thing!

Loved the apartment , the stillness, the views and how beautiful the gardens were. Apartments were spacious and a home from home feeling. Hosts Susan and Michael were so welcoming and friendly. Full of information and were so willing to help.
Everything was as advertised. Nearest village is 7km away so make sure you bring essentials.

It was very roomy for our family of four with two full bathrooms and a comfy bathroom and kitchen. The host was wonderful. She had a lot of great information to share and gave us many good suggestions. She was also the most accommodating of all the hosts from the week.
The bathroom mirror was very low and the bathroom itself was super tiny. Otherwise, it was great.

Within 10 minutes drive of nearby villages. Rural location and quiet.
Great place from which to base ourselves and explore the local area.
Remote location meant always having to drive.

Great place equidistant between Lisdoonvarna and Ballyvaughan which were both 8 km away - Well equipped apartment in rural setting in beautiful location. Eggs and wine on table on arrival - nice touch
Take away food only available in Ballyvaughan and just basic supplies in both.
4.5
Beautiful setting, around an attractive courtyard garden, with a wonderful view over the countryside from our balcony. The flat was comfortable, roomy and well equipped. Susan, our host, could not have been more welcoming and helpful, giving us some invaluable tips about what to see in this lovely part of the world. We wished we had booked in for longer.
The double bed and one of the single beds were very creaky and should be replaced.
The property is some way out of Ballyvaughan, and one depends on a car, but it is very peaceful.

IT WAS PEACEFUL. WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THE ATTRACTION SO EVERYWHERE WE WANTED TO GO WAS NOT TO FAR AWAY.
There was nothing i didnt like about this place

An excellent choice for a long-delayed family reunion - we really appreciated being given 3 apartments in the same corner of the complex for ease of popping in & out to see each other. Comfortable beds, very efficient heating & excellent showers. Our host Susan was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We were very happy to be out in the countryside, surrounded by the stark beauty of the Burren landscape and wonderful night skies, with Ballyvaughan only a short drive away.
If you want to be within walking distance of pubs/restaurants/shops, then probably not the place for you.

it was basic and clean and everything one needed was in it
got a good night sleep

the drive ,,, our kitchen
misleading photos, the beds for Lampy, The apartments are at the back of the big house, the hot tub sits between, outside our front door was too great big oil containers and a big Rusty container, the area outside the apartments need jazzing up as it looks like a machinery dumping site, hot tub is NOT private you get slot of an hour €25 and you have to walk past two apartments round the corner across the car park to get to it,,,, not happy
