Excellent hotel. Wonderful staff and food!

All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Fabulous food (breakfast and evening meals) Lovely outside bar area. Great location for seeing Wicklow County.

Room was very hot and heavy quilt on bed.

Lovely safe central small hotel would highly recommend

We stayed in room 110 it was at side of garage and very bright light shone in whole time room needs a blind badly only fault

Average but overpriced.

Everything was just okay, we all expected better for 110euros per night.

We arrived soaking wet on motorcycles, took ages to get someone to reception. No drying facilities and had to ask for the heating to be turned on. Food was average and at breakfast we had to ask for everything as it was totally waitress service.

A Winner!

Very friendly and helpful staff+++. Delicious food+++. The room was clean and spacious; very comfortable beds. Outdoor patio was lovely with beautiful flower boxes.

People hung out below our window at night talking. Happily, it started to rain so they had to go indoors- then I could fall sleep.

A stay in the Wicklow Mountains .

A central location for a visit to the Wicklow Mountains .

Our room on the ground floor faced onto the pub area and was noisy with little privacy. Request a second floor room .

Great hotel, great food and great staff.

Breakfast was really good quality as was the food served in the restaurant and bar. They have a really good chef working there. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Good location.

Exceeded all very high expectations.

Excellent service and food/drink. Staff, Manager and Owners all friendly, amenable and helpful, could not praise them enough. Property and facilties very good, particulary outside area. Location excellent, 100metres away from Mount Usher gardens and so many other attractions all within 20km radius, brilliant.

Exceptional

Great location for our run in Glendalough. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar on the Friday night and the food was delicious and great value for money. Breakfast was included in the price and had a great variety cooked fresh to our order. Water and tea/coffee making facilities in room was great also.

Wonderful staff, always friendly and helpful

The hotel has all little things, like old books, paintings, some older decorations that are really interesting and nice to see. I also loved the interiors

The beer garden didn’t have any heating (but this was mid March, so probably not many people wanted to sit outside anyway)

Superb

Breakfast was good, staff very so attentive and chatty. The dinner menu was great and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. We had stayed previously and it was lovely to return. The staff team make you feel so welcome.

Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel to one and all, well done to all who work there.

Food at the Chester Beatty Inn both for breakfast and dinner was very tasty indeed. A good selection too. I am a tea drinker and you get a nice big pot of tea for breakfast too. There is a great choice on the menu for dinner, the desserts are yummy too especially the sticky toffee pudding.

I have absolutely no complaints at all. I do not know how I missed a gem of a hotel before. Have passed it many times in my work almost every day.

Big Mistake many other places would have been better for the 180 us.

didn't start till after 8am so we were on road

staff there was none. Ist floor room was so damp it was masked with a perfume the was terrible.

Highly recommended

When we entered our room it was so appealing the decor and cleanness was above and beyond. In the bathroom the wall tiles where black & white and had been polished so clearly you could see your face in them, Iv never stead in a hotel with such high standards. We had a meal booked in the restaurant everything was cooked to our requirements staff were very pleasant and couldn't be any more helpful and afterwards we enjoyed drinks in the bar Bar staff again gave an excellent service and very attentive even though they were very busy. Breakfast was scrumptious Eggs cooked to my liking Highly recommended you pay a visit either to stay over or enjoy a fabulous meal in the restaurant
