Superb breakfast, and quiet room!

Friendly stuff, great location!

The staff were excellent, the place was tidy and clean. I would surely revisit it and recommend it to my friends and family
Everything was perfect

Nothing, a total miss.
The door of the room opened directly to the street where motorcycles raced all night. No noise insulation. Supposedly an up-grade but actually a huge down grade. No bath robes or slippers as advertised etc. To call this a 4 star is an insult, even 3 would be too much.

Location was good
The city view option is a bit misleading. It's just looking at a street!

The room was comfortable and a good size, the bed was comfy, the tv and air conditioning worked well. The rooms are close to an area with restaurants and shops, but it is not immediately clear to anyone arriving after 15hrs when there is no reception which way to go. A little map would be a great idea - to help find food easily.
Staff lovely
The stairs up to the room are steep and this should be made more apparent - carrying a case up there on my own was very difficult. For anyone with reduced mobility it would be impossible. Bedroom lock also difficult to manage.
I always think that 'hotel' means someone will be there when you arrive (during normal hours) so it was a bit of a disappointment to deal with a key box after a long journey. Knowing this sooner would be preferable.
Breakfast not particularly attractive - for the price, a little more attention to what is offered, refreshing it and changing things would be better.

I liked the breakfast very much, very nice staff. only we had problems to find it, but luckily it worked out in the end. Beautiful building. I loved the shower and the bed was very comfortable :-)
Don't know. It was about perfect...

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Welcome drink and size of the room.
Great location, everything is in a walkable distance. Beautiful house.
Breakfast unfortunately only starts at 8am. This was a bit too late for us for a morning flight (we just had one night). They do provide a breakfast-to-go, don’t expect too much though.
Parking situation is absolutely insane. Better to not have a car.

Good location and an attractive and slightly quirky room

Staff were exceptionally helpful.
The location was excellent, being a short walk from everything the town had to offer.
The bed was very comfortable.
What looked like a kitchen in the photos only had a coffee machine and kettle, not even a spoon, knife or cloth to wipe surfaces. Staff did not clean in our 5 night stay, which would have been OK if we had a broom or cloths and cleaner to do it ourselves, but there was nothing.

central location
Paid parking close by
Comfortable shower.
3.0
Nice to have two floors. Breakfast staff very attentive. Good location.
Ground floor was freezing so unusable. Why not have heater here as well as on first floor? Tiny bathroom was terribly designed. Flooded with every shower. Tap in wrong place. Really horrible canned music at breakfast. Put me right off.

Fabulous little hotel just a few minutes walk from the city center, nicely decorated room, lovely interior court and delicous breakfast
4.0
The hotel itself was lovely, the staff however were lovely and the breakfast was great.
The city view room was just an entrance into the street and the air con didn't seem to be working.

The location was fine, walking distance from all sights, churches and museums

The stuff was exceptional, really kind and helpful. The room was super clean.
The upper floor of the room (where the bed is) wasn't that much comfortable as the shelling was short. Also in the kitchen there wasn't anything, a spoon, a plate, only a bottle of water and 2 glasses. The kitchen table was broken. About the breakfast it was nice but cold as well as the coffee.

The place was spotless, lots of pillows, an extra duvet and a very handy fridge, kettle and sink. Despite being very central, it was very quiet. The staff were very hospitable. Great value for money.
3.0
Central location, good breakfast, amazing patio, very kind and helpful personnel.
The room was different to the advertised one, the shower had no ventilation and the water was leaking in the room as well when showering, there were no hangers for the towels, the windows were dirty.

all fantastic. best hotel ever.

we like the staff, the breakfast, the location in general
we had the apartment on the ground floor which suffers from cars driving by sometimes quite loudly. it’s not terrible but it is a bit annoying.

I travel a lot. 47 countries visited. From first world to third world countries. So I am an experienced traveler from top-level to very primitive and basic.
First of all the front desk closed at 3 p.m. but they only told me at 1 p.m. and I was not there yet. 23 steps on a curving staircase up to the unit. The door stuck and had to kick it open every time. Things were missing from the room and I called both emergency numbers but no one answered. As a matter of fact, the whole time I was there I was unable to get hold of anybody.
They had an emergency light, which is necessary, but it was right outside the bedroom. Two bright green fluorescent lights. The door between it and the bedroom was a glass door. So basically the bedroom was lit up all night.
Nowhere to hang up damp towels that you use. Not a hook or anything else in the bathroom.
The door that closed off the shower didn't hold the water out so it leaked onto the floor a lot. I left the soaking wet towels on the floor thinking they would be changed. Only on my last day, did I notice the sign on the back of the front door stating if I needed anything changed I had to tell him.
But there was no one to tell so it would not have mattered.
Only the waitress for the small cafeteria was there and she barely spoke English.
Not able to get in touch with anyone else from the hotel. Minor things like no light switch by the bed so you had to get out of bed Turn Off the Lights.
All in all this place is not worth it.

Spacious rooms in the middle of Hania! I found the location perfect. Parking your rental car in the heraklion center garage was flawless and just a few minutes walk away - perfectly doable location with a rental car I'd say.
Since its and old building it has quiet a bit of character but it can also be a bit noisy (both from streets and other guests) Personally it didnt bother me much. Cute moorish style breakfast patio.

Property looks to be a perfectly restored very old building giving one the feeling of a European Inn from a previous point in history. The property is in the heart of town and the staff strives to be helpful and succeeds.

Amazing and helpful staff!!
Beautiful building and design.
Good breakfast.
Good location.
Ugly dusty windows!! Hotel administration should correct work of the cleaning personal. We saw, that there are reconstruction nearby, but windows haven’t been cleaned during really long term!!
Black mold and in the shower.
WiFi was unstable.
Uncomfortable pillows. Pillowcases do not fit the size of the pillows, they were small.
There was no socket in the bathroom, difficult to use hairdryer.

The hotel is very centrally located in Iraklio. It is an old building that was newly renovated and very beautiful. It has only 6 rooms and a very nice courtyard where the breakfast is held. The breakfast also includes some local dishes like dried bread, goat cheese, olive paste and grinded tomatoes that were very tasty. A very nice atmosphere - we would choose the hotel again!
4.0
The hospitality and it’s location close to the happenings old town yet quiet enough for a good night sleep. The breakfast is decent for us with good coffee from the Veneziano coffee bar/cafe
We didn’t get to stay at the main building but at the newly renovated annex that is pure concrete and lack period details of its main building. Lack of space in the bathroom to put toiletries despite a very spacious bathroom
3.5
Room was nicely decorated, very modern.
Location was central
The noise coming from the street was terrible, I could not sleep at all.
The name says hotel but it’s more like a guest house, not a hotel.
4.5
Very nice and comfy room, perfectly cleaned. Breakfast quite good served in a pretty court. Hosts super nice and welcoming, as we needed to check out early they arranged a take away breakfast the day before. In few minutes by foot you are in the Old Town
Definitely recommend for a trip in Heraklion
