Erholung in einer Oase der Ruhe mit freundlichem Personal

Die Lage sowie das Personal und die ruhige Lage waren aussergewöhnlich. Das Personal war absolut hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war absolut ausgewogen nichts zu bemängeln.

Amazing veiw

Room clean and good size had all appliances as listed, facilities as listed, man on reception very helpfull and friendly. View from room was amazing.

Comfortable East Cape retreat with stunning sea-views.

Very clean and quite well-equipped and presented room, with generous sized balcony with stunning view overlooking gardens, pool and sea.

No-where to store or hang clothes, i.e. no wardrobe nor hooks on the back of any doors. Not a major issue for just 1 night, but not if staying longer. Access to room from carpark not ideal involving a lift and long outside corridors from one end to other of the complex. Restaurant very noisy due to a very large family group celebrating a birthday. We sat outside to escape the noise and general chaos, but that wouldn't have been possible in cooler or wet weather. Food was OK though!

Unexpected surprise on our tikitour.

Great view, with a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in shower, and appreciated having a washing machine and dryer. The room was clean however dishwasher was broken. Staff very friendly welcoming. We ate in the restaurant, and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh snapper.

It was a bit of a rabbit warren to move between our room and the restaurant. Outside lighting was lacking which was a bit disconcerting.

A great place just to chill out take in the view and do nothing.

Great coastal view. Clean tidy room with friendly staff. Quiet location if you are just wanting to chill out. Well stocked shop with all the treats and groceries you may want or need. Rooms have a full kitchen so you can prepare you own meals if you wish or dine in the restaurant.

Restaurant service was slow despite us being the only ones in the restaurant at the time.

Beautiful accommodation, lovely staff, delicious food, but no sleep.

The room was lovely and even smelt nice. The view is Wow and the dinner was delicious, reasonably priced and just the right portion size. Every staff member I had dealings with was nothing short of lovely.

I could hear the people talking in the room next to mine (and using the kitchen / bathroom etc), everytime anybody walked past outside I could hear it, and the noise from the bar all came through into my room (and yes, the windows and doors were closed). This is just a personal preference, but the bed was also a soft bed, and I have a firm mattress at home, so I had trouble sleeping. Eventually, after a little less than two hours of sleep and being woken by someone walking past my room, I left at a little before 4am and drove home (a four hour drive).

everything! from the facilities, the food and the hospitality! everyone was so friendly and accommodating. food was top notch! loved the dish washer, washing machine and dryer in each room too.

Great room for two. Had everything plus more than what we needed. Amazing view of the ocean!! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Thank you for a very relaxing stay.

Superb

Fantastic views, great self contained unit, friendly, efficient staff who were exceptional at problem solving.

Washing machine did not work properly, but our wonderful manager gave us another room key to use a different machine and getting luggage to room was a bit tricky.. but we are old and not so strong, very glad of the internal lift!

The view was absolutely stunning, the room was amazing, great location, facilities were great... Overall a great experience.

The spa wasn't working, which would have been awesome.

On arrival which was late due too work and weather traveling from afar the manager on site Madam Wharepapa was hospitable and kind with supporting my mother of 85years old to locating our keys an showing us too our room ,the two nights we stayed the service and meals tops 10 + we will be booking for Xmas and another 2 nights Nga Mihi Nui too Lisa Wharepapa and everyone there including my niece Justice Hekenui in the dining room just beautiful We definitely will be coming back arohanui TE Whanau O Apanui TE Kaha Resort 💖💖💖💖

Oh that was on us I left late too come to TeKaha and we did not want to come back where we reside an work 😂😂😂

Location, location, location and the best steak I've had rom a restaurant in a long, long time.

You can't beat the location!

The property seemed tired. There was a sign saying under redevelopment but no sign of any actual work being done. The lift worked but felt rickety. No alternative to the lift to get between building floors except an outside staircase, open to the wet weather.

An excellent stay. The staff were friendly and helpful as soon as you walked through the front door. They were very welcoming and very accommodating. The food was so good! The selection of drinks were awesome. The pool and spa pool were great for the kids. Had an absolute blast. Thank you

Only downside was the distance to walk from carpark to top level with luggage, chiller bin and work bags, to the middle room, pity there wasn't a mid stair case straight from the carpark 😀

The LOCALs Hangout

I booked 2 Rooms for One Night and the type of rooms I booked online, weren't available upon arrival, However, we were given an Upgraded Room to keep our Rooms Next to each other on the Ground level, which led us out into the Pool area and gave us quicker access to the main Restaurant/Bar Area too, so that was even more Convenient and Enjoyable. Loved thee ole Juke Box.. The Food Is Always Super Good.. The Staff is Awesome As too.

Being my 3rd stay there, I only wish the Dishwasher worked for once.. I tend to order Dinner to Go while I'm having a Beer, so the next morning after making Breakfast, I've got heaps of Dishes that I'd rather throw into the Dishwasher To Do lol.

Not as good as we expected.

The area was nice. Nice beach and landscape, views etc.

Customer service could've been better. The room smelt bad, like it hadn't been aired out for weeks. The bedside chair was revolting. Had lots of stains on it.
