The location was perfect!
One of the bedrooms was very cold, never seemed to heat up.

Beautiful view, fab location, immaculately clean. We loved it!
It was really really warm, even though temperatures were 18 degrees outside so not one of our warmest days in NI. But the heat in the living room was unbearable during the day. Even with the doors and windows open. That said, it cooled down nicely at night and we weren’t in there for too long during the day. Perhaps a large fan would be useful for the living room.

Great location for access to the mourne mountains , superb size of apartment very spacious.
Kitchen missing a few essential items ie cork screw bottle opener, scissors, dish cloths only 1 tea towel, just a few minor items but ment we had to go out and buy them.

The location was excellent and the living area was spacious.
The directions could have been better. I ended up circuiting Newcastle twice because I couldn’t see the Donut place.
My friend kept putting off the smoke alarm in the kitchen when cooking. It seemed to be very sensitive.
Two keys would have been nice

Me and my family were away on honeymoon. And had booked to stay here for a couple of nights . Due to family circumstances back in England we had to get a last minute ferry back to England . Due to not being able to stay at the property .I emailed messaged and rang to explain and to be issued with a refund . After speaking to the manager of the property his name was Jason he was very rude unsympathetic and basically said he had no intention off refunding the money . Despite the circumstances. Me and my husband must of spoke to him on several occasions to get this resolved and on the last call he actually hung the phone up on me . Now in the hands off booking.com complaints team to get the money back that we’re entitled to . I would steer clear off booking This apartment . And has caused unnecessary stress and ruined the end of our family honeymoon having to had to chase this up and been met with a rude manager .

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Comfortable beds. Handy to have a washing machine. Good information with info on main door code and lockbox for key to apartment. Situated right in the main street close to beach and shops.
Entrance needs a good clean. Weird access to apartment, up stairs then through external door to an open terrace area to the apartment. Car parking is in a free public carpark behind the apartment, not easy access if one has heavy suitcases and we were a little concerned about safety but all went well for us. The feel of this place is quite cold, needs a rug at least, to warm up the atmosphere. Lots of information all over the place telling guests what NOT to do. Only welcoming note was on the back of the front door so only see this on the way out.
Lastly, 100 Pounds required as a deposit/bond payable upfront and we received it refunded 2 days after leaving. I guess they have had issues with damage but beware of this requirement.

Apartment was good.
Newcastle has too many ice cream parlors and coffee and doughnut shops. Npt enough supermarkets or newsagents.

The apartment was beautiful and in a great location, really spacious and loved the big windows overlooking the mountains. The place was tidy and presented well.
The only thing I can say was a small issue was there was a chewed sweet stuck to the floor beside toilet and there was a pile of full black rubbish bags outside the front door when we arrived and were still there when leaving.
Other than that the apartment was lovely and the host was helpful with communication via email.

Lovely apartment to the front with small balcony accessed from one of the bedrooms, nice view. Very clean, modern & spacious throughout, fab shower and a great location for everything.
Soundproofing was really very bad, the kids had difficulty sleeping due to noise from the other apartments, could hear their television, general noise, and people talking very clearly as though in the same room. The only fault in a generally lovely stay overall.

Location it was so central, had everything in the apartment that you needed. Beds were comfortable than most hotels we have been too!
Walls in the apartment were very thin and could hear the neighbours next door talking there music and tv which scared my little girl, and wouldn’t sleep in that room because of the noise.

We absolutely loved our short stay and will be definitely coming back. Location of the apartment was amazing: beach across the road and the view to the mountains was stunning! Although you surrounded by nature you are also on the main Street so all cafes are within walking distance and there is plenty to pick from.
