Strong smell of bleach and there was food left by other people on the fridge. The TV was on when we arrived and we had the impression that someone was there until we found out that the tv would not turn off anyway. Because of the strong smell of bleach we decided to cover the pillows with a scarf of ours so we wouldn't touch the fabric. The place is in a terrible location, it looks quite ugly outside but I guess this is the impression Charleroi wants to give to its visitors. When you get inside it is newly painted and looks decent. There is no private parking, so the car had to be parked on the street. There is a tram passing right in front of the place, but we couldn't hear it from inside which is good. There is a code to access the external door and a locker for the keys beside the apartment door, no issues to access it.

The very friendly owner of the apartment. I feel like I was at home. Kindly recommend staying, if you are waiting for the flight to the airport.
the city is very uncomfortable for women.

Clean apartment with all necessities. Towels, shampoo and even cookies are provided :)
Very close to a supermarket.
The host Jane is really kind. We were standing in front of the wrong house first and she immediately helped us :D
Maybe you could install curtains at both windows to make it dark for puttng a child to bed - but really, that is a minor very personal complaint :D

Very bright and airy, tastefully decorated and spotless. Wi-Fi, shower etc worked perfectly. Jane was friendly and went above and beyond to help me when I was leaving. she even dropped me and my heavy case at the station.
The property was great in all respects but I had problems getting roaming internet in much of Charleroi. Jane had warned me there were two identical addresses on that road but because I couldn’t access maps, I didn’t know they were 6km apart. I wasted a lot of time by first going to the wrong one. If other visitors make sure they stay South of Marie Curie Hospital they’ll be fine. Also for self-catering, the adjacent Aldi is shut on Sundays.

Close to the airport. Parking place.
The location was problematic, looks like bad neighborhood, we were afraid to walk there. Narrow and short stairs, not convenient with the luggage.

Old building but nice renovated apartment. There were everything what is needed during a stay. Comfortable and clean. Nice and helpful owner. I recommend this place. Free parking on the street.
Everything was ok. But you have to be careful beacause there is two the same addresses in Charleroi, but the owner had told us it before our arrival so we go to the right address. The right one is near to Aldi market :)

The apartment was clean
the host sent us a code with which we could not enter. I called and she gave us another code that did not open the box.
The third time was with luck, but we did not like the host's confusion at all

Bedding was clean, owner seemed kind enough
I’m a terribly run down area, the building/room is in very poor condition. Shameful that someone would charge what they do for such an awful place.

The owner is really very friendly, helped to book a taxi for Sunday, 5AM. Thank you!
The apartment is really very clean indeed <3
The beds are really OK (even the couch).
If you're hungry, there are ingredients, you can even make a dinner with in fully equipped small kitchen.
Aldi is 50 meters from the apartment, so you can always go there and then have cold Belgian beer in the Lilliputian courtyard.
The apartment is located in the middle of nowhere, quite far from the City center (25 mins walk) and quite far from the airport (15 mins by taxi).
In the courtyard could be good to have at least some plants, as it is extremely small and surrounded by the walls 3m height.

A very nice place to stay in Charleroi. Supermarket within 50 metres.
Parking is okay but you'll need to take a chance on parking close to appartment.

Easy check-in and the apartment was very kid-friendly.
You could hear the traffic on the main street but for us, it was still okay :)

It was no breakfast included.
I mentioned I'm travelling with family, 2 Adults + 2 Kids ( 3 and 10 years old) so the host knew that we will need both beds, 1 in the bedroom and second, sofa from living.
Sofa was broken, kids slept on the floor cause we couldn't leave and find another place to stay Sunday evening 8 PM.
When I called the host to explain that sofa is broken, she told me she had no idea about it and she will replace it the next day. Hard to believe she didn't knew..... Anyway this is good for the next guest, for me it was an overall bad experience.
I do not wish for this review to be published, but I wish Booking can do smth about it...

Some extra chese would have been nice! Just kidding!
This was a reference because we found some pasta+tomato juice available and we started to cook.
We had all the comfort we needed: even hairdrier, ironing board, coffee, cookies(!!), nesquick!
At first we thought the extensible couch in the living wouldn't be comfortable but our friend slept like a baby on it.
We'd stay here again next time.

It’s little, cozy and comfy. A jewel at This price point.
The Terrace was a bit depressing.

Nice apartment. But what makes this very good is all the extras ! A nice big tv, comfortable sofa, free cookies, tea and coffee and so much more. It is really in the small details. You have everything what you need !
Little tip: provide a fleece blanket for in the sofa 😊
Bed is less comfortable and the pillows were also not good for my neck.
