Great place to stay near Charleroi airport. Creatively docorated big room with aviation and Tintin style. We were starting our cycling trip from Charleroi and it was possible leave our cyclebags to Hotel which made our trip much more easy. Good breakfast and very good service. I will recommend.

The host Michael was very accomodating our flight was an 1hr late we got there at 12.30am and he waited up for us it's a quaint old house but all amenities needed and only a mile from airport.

The B&B was really cozy, and I loved the family room we stayed in. It had a loft which gave the kids a separate space, and it was very comfortable. We only stayed one night, but it was a great place to stay, especially if you arrive late or have an early flight.
The owner was very helpful and attentive. We ordered food since it was a holiday and nothing was open, and he set up a table for us in the lounge. He also gave us plates, silverware, etc. The lounge area also has beers and other drinks to buy as well as a pool table. It is a fun place to hang out.
The shuttle to the airport was inexpensive and easy to atrange.
We were there in the winter, so we weren't able to enjoy the outside space, but it looked lovely!
There isn't anything I didn't like. However, it is good to know that it takes at least 2 hours from Brussels to get to the hotel if you plan to take public transportation. Take the train to Chareloi Central and then Bus 18 to Jumet Dewerpe. The B& B is a short walk from there. This isn't a bad thing, as it is what it is. It is just good to ve aware so you plan accordingly.

the decoration of the place is really nice! Our room (4 people) was warmly heated upon arrival. Michael is friendly. We had a nice beer (and ample choice) in the evening and a game of billiards.

Very nice quiet place, friendly hosts, good service
We lived in a relatively new room, and the wooden floors and steps creaked a lot.

It's almost indescribable how shocked we were to find out that the “Superior cabin” was nothing like what was shown on booking
The house was very, very old, the wooden hut and her yard were not maintained at all
-one of the windows on the front of our cabin was broken
there were full of flies in the house
the house was not clean at all and the bads and mattresses were very old and not suitable for use
outside it was Also not maintained similar to the inner house
Instead of nice swimming pull on the yard, as you can see in the attached photos we found an improper pool with stale and green water
It looks like the house and the yard have not been touched for at least a few years.
After a few minutes of shock, we approached the host, Michael, and politely explain to him why this house is not what we expected and we cannot use it. We asked him for solutions may be to switch to another room in the hotel (the house was outside the hotel), his answer was that this is what we ordered and this is what we got, therefore it is our trouble and it has nothing to do with him
We had no choice but to, leave the place without an adequate solution and look for a place for us and the children to spend the night.
This all process was a real Traumatizing for us and for the children, it really ruined the successful end of our vacation – both the place and the attitude of the owner
We lost the last evening of our vacation and of course we did not get a refund for the 160 euros we paid that why it is very We hope you will read our case and be careful not to book a room in this place

Excellent B&B located around Charleroi airport. An old house decorated with taste and cosy feeling. Check-in/check-out time almost 24h and perfectly adapted to the airport travellers needs. Old house but well refurbished and bar on site to buy drinks. Very kind owner.
There is not an elevator and many wooden stairs. You hear noise from other guests walking in/out. Not safe in the duplex room for toddlers as stairs have no railings.

Michael is a charming host. Photos didn't do justice to how lovely it was. Family room was spacious and perfectly appointed.
Nothing, everything exceed expectations.

The owner was extremely helpful. He picked me up at the nearby airport when I arrived, and took me back there the next morning, at 7. This was extremely convenient.

The accomadation was basically a poorly maintained wooden chalet at the bottom of a unkept garden. All the furniture including the beds was made from used transport pallets. Advertised as 5 beds, two of the beds were homemade sofa/bed conversions, one bed was a bunk bed and so close to is ceiling & with no grab handles, it was virtually impossible for an adult to get in. Two other beds were in a loft area with no standing head height and the light switch at the bottom of the access ladder.
The garden view was onto a swimming pool that was green with dead vegitation, the lawn grass hadn't been mown for months, there was a derelict bed frame and ripped mattress to one side and the BBQ area was more of an outside workshop, with power tools laying around. The BBQ itself was disgusting and well past is usable date.
We were booked in for 4 nights, after the first night we looked for other accomodation, as non was available locally we had no choice but to spend a 2nd night, we left the next morning and moved from the area. The place is nothing like the pictures or description on its web site.

Breakfast was Ok.
Room design was cool
1. Duw to flight issus, we arrive 1h later after the B&B airport shuttle working time.
B&B didn't send TAXI or provide other transportation solution at 23:30 at night. It was freezing with 2 Kids with no airport taxi services. 1.5h to find taxi. Very bad welcome.
2. Room had some strange plumbing drops noise all night long.

Lovely small B&B in a very easy to reach location yet secluded and quiet. The double suit was tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
Even though it rained on our only night there and it was a bit too cold to use the pool, we could chill in the warm jakuzzi, which made up for it!
