Casa Mori 🥰

The room we had was great right next to the pool and had a deck showing off stunning views. Was amazing to watch the sunset. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit that was picked on farm. Marilyn is a great host and even better cook. Was an awesome stay wish it could of been longer.

Magical and peaceful.

The home was super amazing and the view to die for. The breakfast exceeded expectations. Both Marylyn and Eugene were exceptional hosts. Highly recommended even to just sit and admire the view.

Warm aanbevolen

Prachtig gelegen paradijsje op een heuvel met wijds uitzicht tot in Kaapstad. Heel hartelijke ontvangst door sympatiek koppel. Marilyn en Eugene zijn fantastische hosts. Ze geven graag en goed advies voor uitstapjes, bezoek van wijnestates en restaurants. Zalig zwembadje. Veilig parkeren. Kwartiertje van Stellenbosch en heel wat mooie wijndomeinen in een straal van 15 kilometer. Kortom: over heel de lijn een aanrader.

Einfach alles :-) Alles so liebevoll und schön eingerichtet, und die Die Inhaber super nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Super Tipps was man machen kann 👍🏻 Das Abendessen von Marilyn war fantastisch und dazu der Ausblick 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Danke, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 🙂

Stunning, homely stay

Everything! What a stunning house, blows you away. We were greeted by the host who was so sweet, told us about the story behind the house, how it was built. The guy is Italian and the Wife is South African, they built the house and it has a very Mediterranean vibe. They make their own pasta, olive oil and other bits & bobs. It feels super homely, I loved how classic the villa felt with the brick work and decor. Bedroom was really comfortable, scenery it's absolutely beautiful you can't get enough of the garden and views. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again when we are back in Cap Town.

That we didn't stay long enough :) Myself and my husband were only in Stellenbosch for 2 nights for a friends wedding.

Stonehouse with stunning view of Table Mountain

The area is absolutely stunning. You feel like being on a Tuscany hill. There is a phenomenal panoramic view which includes Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Best view ever. The house is built of solid rocks, fantastic architecture with great level of details including authentic interior style. The hosts are very friendly, Marilyn made fantastic breakfast and would have offered to cook dinner as well.

Our room did not have aircon. During the day it became quite hot. The fan helped a bit. As we only had a small car with not much PS it was a bit difficult to drive the gravel road upwards.

Einfach nur ein Traum! Wir reisen wirklich viel, aber das war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in denen wir jemals waren. Das wunderschöne Gebäude: Ein Traum! Das sensationell schöne Zimmer: Ein Traum! Alles sehr hochwertig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet! Der Balkon und die Aussicht: Ein Traum! Die äußerst herzlichen und liebenswerten Gastgeber: Ein Traum! Ich komme aus dem Schwärmen nicht mehr heraus! Unsere Erwartungen wurden deutlich übertroffen! Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Beautiful views and great indoor cooking

Great views over the winefields and very nice mediterranian style rooms with patio and comfortable seats. We had an in-house dinner that was excellent. The state produces it own olive oil and wine. Excellent and quit place in the Stellenbosch-Paarl region. Down the hill is a beautiful golfcourse.

Outstanding and charming Tuscan style villa in the heart of the wine country

Casa Mori is a charming Tuscan-styled villa on the outskirts of Stellenbosch on the top of a hill with stunning views across the countryside. We arrived on a rainy overcast day and decided to stay in and enjoy our extremely large and beautifully furnished room. We purchased some tasty house wine from the Casa Mori vineyard and soaked up the views and ambiance for the afternoon. We had prearranged with the owners to have dinner in the guest dining room. It was warm and welcoming with candles and a roaring log fireplace. The food was a wonderful home cooked affair. We were made to feel very welcome in this family run guesthouse. As we did not have time for breakfast in the morning, we were very kindly given a small breakfast bag to take with us. It is a perfect countryside retreat away from big towns and noisy roads.

Casa Mori is not so easy to find for the taxis. If you need an early morning transfer to the airport, make sure you pre-book your ride the night before. Casa Mori is not within walking distance of the town of Stellenbosch (approximately 10km). The bathroom is huge and spotlessly clean, but it has no doors, which could be a privacy issue to me.

Best place to stay in Stellenbosch

This is a perfect place to come and relax. It is definitely good value for money and has the most beautiful views in Stellenbosch. The owners really make you feel welcome and go out of their way with breakfast in the morning. My wife and I can't wait to return!

Wonderful villa managed by two lovely hosts

The villa is wonderful! It's a magic venue with a spectacular view. The hosts Marilyn and Eugene make your stay exceptional. They are great hosts and they provide you with great recommendations to discover the area. Additionally I advice to have dinner at the venue as Marilyn is an amazing cook! A bonus for animal lovers is the presence of 3 welcoming dogs and one cat that are just lovely.

Better bring some warm clothes as during winter the villa and the rooms might get quite cold, especially during load shedding. For the rest everything was just perfect!

Would love to go back.

Great views and surroundings, very comfortable room, warm welcome by the hosts, delicious freshly cooked breakfast - with an Italian twist. Great stay, highly recommend!

If I have to fault anything, the bed - even though very comfortable - was a little bit narrow (140cm).

Well run property in a wonder position .

Amazing views , beautiful sitting out area . The property was stunning inside, lots of antiques. Run by a friendly helpful couple. Breakfast was very good.

The drive way needs some serious attention ( this has been mentioned before.) It wouldn’t be any good for a car with low suspension.
