Close to the places we wanted to go to.
Nothing we didn’t like. Not a complaint just an observation - only 4 chairs in the kitchen and there were 6 of us.

It was a bonus to find milk, tea, coffee and snacks provided in the kitchen, as we arrived late in the evening. There were also toiletries for guests' use in the spotlessly clean bathroom.

Overall the property was good. It was comfortable and easy to access.
The property needs some general maintenance; it is a little tired.

good well furnished with lots of food extras.
we were very unhappy that no hot water was available for washing or showers. Could you please get in touch to advise why this was the case.email. [email protected].

The apartment was spacious, warm, well equipped & very convenient for getting up into the Mountains of Mourne.
Lack of private/quiet outdoor space.
There is no segregation in the courtyard between apartment & Hotel , our first day being Sunday unfortunately seemed to clash with a major religious event when the hotel/pub was packed but many parents didn't supervise their children who used the courtyard as a playground shouting & bouncing balls off our windows !
A more positive proactive approach in dealing with this problem would have been appreciated!
Also unfortunately we were not made aware that the hotel bar & restaurant would be closed for 3 out of the 4 days of our stay, as were other dining venues in the town, not good for tourism !
Perhaps the lack of a private amenity space could be addressed by creating a direct access onto the large lawn between the apartment & carpark or by a balcony overlooking it ?

size and location
Leaking toilet (not fixed when requested), leaking fridge (reported repeatedly by the cleaner but no action taken), very noisy at weekends - loud music until 1am, then customers leaving noisily at 3am.

Nothing, it was perfect

The location is superb. It was close to three different forest parks and towns for us to explore. The apartment was very spacious and had great heating and excellent shower. Having a washing machine was great to wash our biking clothes. Also some snacks in a bowl was a lovely touch. It felt like home.

We liked everything from having a beautiful meal in the restaurant to the lovely spacious Apartment. The host even took time from her busy day and wrote down directions for off the track beautiful walks. We will definitely be back.

Very good self contained facilities and could eat out, or in their restaurant, or take back to room, plus takeaway and Spar with hot food and shop within 50 metres. Very attentive host in Pauline. Can be anywhere in South Down in a few minutes.
Would have liked to be able to turn off heating
