This house is in a great location for Denali Park. Several good restaurants in walking distance ( if you dont mind a bit of a climb). The house has the basics but is not a "gourmet" setup. We weren't expecting one so it was not an issue. I would describe it as rustic but comfortable and you cant beat the locationlication. Very quiet

Needs help. Horrible beds, pancake flat pillows, bedcovers are ancient. Curtains in primary did not cover slider, letting in the light all night. Literally plywood floors in living room and kitchen. As previously mentioned, whole house slants so could be issue for kids. TV did work and allows access to streaming channels.

This was a really amazing place for our family (2 adults, 13, 12, and 8yos). It was so close to Denali we were able to get in and out of the park in minútese the cabin is extremely private up the side of a hill with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. It is very spacious with a large kitchen table and tons of room to spread out. Very comfortable for a family looking for some space and close proximity to the park. Would 100% stay here again if we’re back in the area.

Nice, multi-bedroom property near the Denali National Park entrance. Kitchen is well appointed. It is at the end of the driveway / road and is surrounded by trees, but there is no views. Great for adults, probably recommend against bringing younger children. The floors aren't level and the steep ladder-stairs to the loft are a potential falling hazard for young ones.

Great place. Has anything we needed.

This is a great cabin. There is no way to get any closer to Denali (1.6 miles to the visitors center). It is large and accommodated my family easily. It is a bit rustic, although nicer then most other cabins in Healy. Expect rustic no matter where you stay. We didn't cook any dinners there but it could use some more pots and pans if you plan on cooking any meals there. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. It took a bit to find the check in site (it is in the RV check in area, but don't worry, you will be far above the RV area). The only problem with the cabin was the 4th bedroom was actually the closet in the mater bedroom. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Denali again

What breathtaking views to wake up to every day! Great digs. Must confess that the weather was great, hence we little time spent in the cabin. If you were to be snowed in, I believe this would be the place.

This was a great place to stay for our Denali adventure. It was clean, spacious and perfect for our needs. It is within walking distance to restaurants and the park.

The cabin was rusic as well as clean & comfortable. It had everything to fix meals & relaxing. We liked how secluded it was but still close to attractions & shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Homestead in the hurt of Denali park. We enjoyed our stay. One comment is that the kitchen should be better equipped. w

Beautifully placed and convenient for accessing the park. For those want a place to cook their own meals an their own schedule, this place was wonderful. The third room in the loft with twin beds a high level of dexterity and caution, so that room is not for everyone. Bathrooms are conveniently placed to be shared by all guests as needed.

We loved the view, the privacy and location. We loved our stay

First time in Alaska and the stay was nice, very cozy and welcoming. Thanks for having us.

Wonderful stay. Thought the beds and the rooms they were in were small. It slept 6 people but 2 people (married) had to sleep in separate locations

Great place to stay
This place was awesome!!! Great house. Loved being up in woods. Floors were crooked but that did not bother us. Only real downside of this place was the beds. Could use some new mattresses.
4.5
The outside has benches and decks to just view the mountains in a quite atmosphere. The inside provides nice space for us to spread out, each having their own bedroom. Nice kitchen, family room with access to internet and TV. Many games left available for adults and children.

Needs a Little Work
The cabin was nice but had a problem with the foundation. There was a slope to the floors. The foundation has settled unevenly. This Ould make it difficult for those with balance or mobility problems. The owner said that problem is to be fixed this year. Ask the owner if it has been fixed prior to renting. Once fixed, I would recommend the property.

Truly a great location!
Cozy, Cute & quircky house. As some people mentioned the floors are uneven but we thought it added to the character of the house and our Alaskan Adventure. My 3 children 10-17 loved it! You can not beat the location! Plenty of room to spread out for our family. 5 minute drive to Denali National Park. The 4th bedroom is more of a very large closet with a window and twin bed in it but since I have a 10 year old it worked for us. and she likes being close to us. We would definately stay again! Management was great if I needed anything. Friendly & responsive. Millers ice cream, popcorn, Fudge and Bears Breakfast place on the Boadwalk were great! Minutes away. We went multiple times.

A nice clean cabin, very spacious and great location. We really enjoyed our visit. The only disappointment was the heavily slanted flooring which became disorienting at times. It was fine for us but elderly folks might have some difficulty.

This was an interesting rental - decorated cute but many things needed care. The floor is very slanted, neither the refrigerator or dishwasher is in the kitchen. The master bathroom only had hot water our last day there. On a good note - the location was great and despite some quirkiness it met out needs for a Denali trip.

Check in and out was smooth and efficient. People were nice and knowledgeable. Location by restaurants in walking distance. Thumbs up.

Visiting Denali
The house was pretty clean and tidy, but one of the bathroom toilets didn’t work , and the house was very slanted with floors being very uneven.

We had a wonderful time at the Denali Homestead. The location cannot be beat, and it is rustic enough to feel Alaskan and outdoorsy but big and comfortable as well. Hands down one of the coolest and most unique places our family has stayed. The owners are super nice, check in was easy, and you can walk to dinner at the Crows Nest! Lots of privacy.

This cabin was nicely tucked away in the woods where we couldn't see any neighbors, so super peaceful and quiet. It is more on the rustic side, but everything worked fine. The owners are very responsive. It was missing a toaster so we called. One showed up in a couple hours. The cabin was built in sections over the years, thus has some quirkiness to it. If you are someone that wants 5 star accommodations, this is probably not the place for you.

Pam & Ed are wonderful: friendly & helpful.
Their homestead is beyond expectations: beautiful view, cozy, clean & convenient. Highly recommended.

The Homestead at Denali is a great property. It gives you the feeling of being in the middle of the wilderness, but it's still conveniently located only a few minutes from the village. Ed is great to work with and his communication is very timely. We would definitely stay here again.
