Loved the location, restaurant, kayak availability and houseboat!
Loved our view until a charter yacht pulled in and docked right in front of us blocking the view. GM at marina was helpful in listening to our complaint and keeping us updated as to what happened to cause this issue.

Lovely property in fantastic location
The rooms have a beautiful view and spacious, mattress and sheets could be better.

Remote, tranquil, excellent views, very friendly, excellent food, beach is usually empty
It’s slightly older, so a little rough around the edges. East side is a bit windy on some days.

It’s in a beautiful location.
Lots of rubbish on the property. Wait staff were rude and just plain ignored us. The shower pan filled with water and it was a long-term issue. The shower pan was full of mold.

What a wonderful moment at St Francis! Everything was great, the localisation, the room, people, the services, food and the beauty of the island, I would definitely do it again. A special thanks to Lisa, Chacho and of course all the staff members for their kindness.
Nothing to add!

Natural beauty and beach.
Very poorly maintained facilities. Water supply is dirty. We had to shower with dirty water everyday. There is no way off the island after 7pm and food selection is very limited.

The beach is so beautiful. The rooms are clean, and the restaurant is amazing. If you are looking at pure relaxation without the amenities of a big resort, this is perfect. The staff is the best out there. Felt like vacationing with some of your favorite family members
I loved the whole stay

Everything was amazing, we loved our stay at the resort. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Check-in and check-out were organized. The food in the restaurant was amazing!!! We would stay here again!!
Everything was great. The only thing I would change is to have a more flexible schedule for breakfast and dinner and have more options/fruits for breakfast.

Fabulous experience at The St. Francis Resort! The staff was exceptional and super accommodating to all of our needs. The location was unreal! Stocking Island is a "sliver" island so the resort's location lets you go out your front door to walk to the ocean side (a stone's throw away) to see the sunrise or your back door (quick trek down a short path) to the "other" side for sunset. The food was outstanding with fresh fish on the menu every night. If you're looking for a non-touristy type place, The St. Francis is it! I would highly recommend.
Honestly, everything was great. Any concerns we had were addressed promptly. The water taxi to the "mainland" worked seamlessly. The resort had a super chill vibe, which was exactly what we were looking for.

St. Francis was a one of a kind stay in beautiful Exuma. you cannot beat those Exuma blue waters.
It’s an adventure to get there, but for the agile it is not a problem!

All meals were very good. We tried quite a variety and none disappointed. The view from our room was exceptional. The beautiful beach is steps from your room. The entire staff is amazing and always available to assist. Everyone we encountered was so helpful and made us feel right at home❤️ I explored the Island a lot and found so many hidden treasures .. so much to see!! St. Francis offers, pure beauty in a simple rustic, completely laid-back vibe. This is exactly what we were looking for. I will be back.
It would be nice if there were more beach recliners and umbrellas on the ocean side but I completely understand why not, as the current comes in quite far at high tide. We came prepared with sand towels to bring anywhere we went.

You have a chance to enjoy both sides of the island. The ocean view is spectacular.

One person was helpful but only when we were able to find her. The view from the room was good.
Complete misrepresentation of the resort online. Amenities described and shown were of the sister resort on the mainland. This resort had no amenities, bad food and we were prisoners on the island. There wasn't anyone at the restaurant or bar because the same people were responsible for housekeeping of the rooms. Walking from the reception/bar/restaurant to the rooms, we had to walk past a pile of burning trash on one side and an unprotected construction site on the other side. The last boat from the mainland to the island left at 4pm so we were stuck on the island from that time on. There is no pool - that was at the other resort on the mainland. The last dinner serving was at 7pm and the only 'seasoning' on the food was butter. The rooms themselves, while clean were single-wide trailers. On a few occasions, while we were waiting for help (to get to the mainland, ask for some tap water to drink, etc.) a guy we were told was the owner or manager walked right past us in the reception area, did not greet us or see what help we needed. He just looked down and walked right past. Definitely not the luxury resort described and shown online. I travel a lot (ten countries last year, eight this year) and this is the most disappointed I have ever been with a 'resort'. We were resourceful and found ways to escape the island and we found ways to enjoy our trip but it was not easy and added to the expense, so I cannot recommend it. The sister resort, Peace & Plenty seemed much better but does not have a beach.

Excellent
They are going to make it even better. This is not a resort like sandals, etc. it’s different but the people made the place!

Staff was incredible as was the food. Loved the location so quiet and the beaches were beyond beautiful.
The resort needs some updating and cleaning of the grounds. They were working on this and going to be doing a overhaul on the resort. But would suggest in the meantime to clean up the item that were not in operation. Kayaks and paddleboards were in a bad state of repair. The good superseded the bad and would like to come back when they do the upgrade

The beach, our cabin on the beach, the staff, and the food
The room and especially the bathroom and balcony need a serious and urgent recycling.

The resort is still under renovation but everything was ok. The room is simple but clean, the staff is fantastic , Lulu , the bartender makes amazing cocktails , Luke the Chef is super . The quality of the food is beyond expectations!!!
Thanks indeed to Jason , the GM, he took care of us every day !

We loved our stay in the St. Francis. Stocking Island is a beautiful and complete deserted island where we enjoyed our long walks in the beach. Staff is very kind and mindful and Jason, the manager, made us feel as home. The food at the restaurant is excellent.

the location is very nice; on one side there is the calm water of the harbour, on the other side the wavy water of the ocean. Staff is very professional and they really looked after us, helping in solving problems and helping in adjusting our comfort at best. They are also very flexible. the restaurant is also very nice, with a stunning sunset view. Jason and Shakita have been fantastic, thank you.
the view from the room is stunning, facing directly the ocean from the eastern window and looking at the harbour from the entrance. We loved the effort towards eco-friendliness and we also loved Emma, the lovely and beloved pig at the property.
The staff definitely took care of our needs, managing to arrange a very nice tour finding some last second slots, and we were impressed that, on the day of the excursion, leaving very early in the morning far before the opening of the restaurant, the manager himself was there to arrange our super early breakfast.
rooms need refurbishment (some wear and tear is acceptable, but having all the paint peeling off the sink is not); the electric generator needs some soundproofing fence as it is rather noisy through the whole resort. I would advise some blinding curtains to improve darkness as the (beautiful) sunrise should not necessarily need to be the wake up call every day. We had some issues with AC system that gave us a bit of troubles but I must say both the staff and the owner of the property tried their best to promptly resolve the matter, and offered a full refund for the time spent in resolving it. however, despite the refunding, the loss of time in waiting a fix for the problem is the main reason for our overall not exceptional score.
Last addition: please reduce the use of plastic.

We loved everything about the Saint Francis!!! It was more beautiful than the pictures, the food was amazing and waking up to the ocean everyday was pure heaven. The staff is so kind and caring and made us feel so at home and like family. It was the most perfect romantic beach vacation ever!
