Classic Corsican hotel steeped in history. Marble stairs lead to old style doors. Wide plank floors, high ceilings and classic furnishings. Breakfast was delightful with some homemade offerings. Owner very helpful. Easy walk to Corte downtown.

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful house.

Beautiful building and surroundings, classy room, wonderful host (thank you for helping!). All this makes you feel like home. Tasty breakfast made of local products. Short walk from old town and hiking trials.
Room was beautiful with amazing view and very comfortable bed.
There's no fridge in the room (or I didn't find it :P)

Casa Guelfucci is a lovely converted mansion just on the edge of Corte. The building is beautiful, has great views, and is surrounded by vineyards. Better yet, you can buy the wine directly from the vintner, Antoine, who runs the property himself. It is delicious wine and a great price. But the greatest thing about our stay was the Antoine and his family, who run the property—we were checked in by the Antoine’s daughter, the sixth generation to live on the property. They took very good care of us from the minute we arrived, and they served a generous and delicious breakfast including jams made on site. Antoine chatted with us about the history of the property, the work he has put into converting it, and his life as a winemaker. We cannot recommend Casa Guelfucci enough—you will never forget your stay and you can buy wine and jam directly from them to help remember your experience.
There is no elevator which was not a problem for us, but could be for older guests.

Small family run hotel, everyone friendly and very helpful. Good location, easy walk into the town with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking.

Family business situated on a vineyard selling its own wine. Three generations all very welcoming and friendly, beautiful views of the mountains from the room in a stately old building steeped in history. Great location for local services and access to surrounding beautiful countryside.

The hotel is a beautiful old building with traditional stairs and windows and a nice drive. It has a charm to the outside.
The rooms are basic. There is no air con, fridges or water glasses. The breakfast room was quite dated and the pool is very small. It has an eclectic feel to the place but was not what we were looking for as we were on our honeymoon, we wanted a bit more luxury. If you need a basic place to stay close to town and do not require many facilities then this would be ok though it is still quite expensive. The staff have a laissez-faire attitude though family friendly. Maybe too laid back.

the host and the breakfast

The breakfast far exceeded our expectations, it was of the quality to be found in expensive hotels. The family staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The building, bedrooms and restaurant areas are very well maintained & overlook their own vineyards producing a wonderful rose that I had, it should appear in Hugh Johnson’s wine book!!!
I can think of nothing negative about this place.

Such a beautiful property….bed & breakfast! Beautiful, clean, and spacious room with very comfortable bed! They certainly offer a nice breakfast with homemade yoghurt, marmalade, bread, cake, and local charcuterie!! You can also buy homemade products like marmalades, confiture, vegetable purées, and wine! Thank you for the kind hospitality! :)

Family history and antique furniture in the bedrooms. Excellent breakfast.

The large building is a multi-generational family owned and run winery. Guess rooms on the third floor have been remodeled. Beds are very comfy, breakfast good and the family staff very nice. The price was a very good value. The bottle of Casa Guelfucci wine purchased was fantastic. While I have stayed in far more expensive places, I really liked the charm of this bed and breakfast.
Had we stayed another night or two!

Beautiful house, with a breathtaking tree line avenue. The room was great and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with homemade cakes, yoghurt and jams. The hosts were very kind and helpful, they gave us great advice for a hike close by.

The owner, Antoine, is very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was very nice and charming.

Olde worldy
1. Expensive for what was offered
2. Limited facilities in room
3. Breakfast was disappointing

A stunning location and impressive property. We love the view, the short walk to Corte and local produce at breakfast.
Great to have a pool for a dip on a toasty afternoon, and it was hot!
We hoped to dine at the orto but sadly since the pandemic Antoine has only been accepting group bookings.
The check in was at 4pm and arriving on the overnight ferry we really would have liked to get in a little earlier.

Lovely friendly people, comfy bed, delicious breakfast and a pool - which I hadn’t seen in any pictures. The hotelier kindly gave us a lift to the station in the morning.

It’s a very familiar accommodation. The hosts are super friendly and immediately we felt comfortable. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Beautiful family run hotel set in vineyards & lavender lined driveway, walkable to town. Our host was very kind about our late arrival.

Beautiful location, tasteful decoration, friendly host, amazing mountain view, comfortable bed and facilities, quiet and walking distance from the city center. Couldn't have found a better place to stay in Corte!
Breakfast is only served until 9am, which was too early for us
4.4
The location is very good as you can walk into the centre within 15 mins which means you can leave the car at the hotel free of charge.
The host ,Antoine, is very friendly and very helpful and a good sense of humour. He is also very knowledgable on the area and how to get the most out of your stay. Breakfast was v good especially the home made yogurt
