Where do I start! Beautiful cottage on the river Dee, central location, with everything you could possibly think of. We were so happy to find a lovely welcome pack of bread, butter, milk, Welsh cakes, eggs and creme eggs (since it was Easter).
It was so cosy, warm and a literal home from home. Nice touches were a basket of dvds, playstation 3, parking permits which we didn't need and hamper with free toiletries etc, that you may need. Hairdryer was fab to was sad to leave it 😆.
Beds, pillows and duvets were very comfortable, TVs in both bedrooms. Loved the skylights and showers were hot and easy to use, with plenty of towels. The kitchen was well equipped and had some cupboard staples which were great! My husband adored the conservatory and beautiful garden, with the best view of the river. Even had a swing and plenty of seating.
Co-op was 2 min walk through a small alleyway. I would come back in the future definitely.
WiFi, no instructions so rang Sykes cottages, who were great and got the password for us, after a busy bank holiday weekend. Sadly, it still didn't work, so we just left it. Again not a big deal, but if working from the cottage it might cause issues.

We loved everything about the cottage. There was nothing that had not been thought of. There was even a Christmas tree, as we where there for the Christmas festival.

superb location with view right on the river, lovely conservatory and open space at the rear.
equipped with more than you could ever need, tea coffee even cling film and oxo cubes!!
nice bars a couple of minutes from the front door.
showers need attention, but probably only new seals on the end of the hoses, that’s all.
parking was ok on the street, with supplied passes, although it might be harder in high season.

Really warm and cosy and very central too .... not that Llangollen is that big. Plenty big enough for 5 people to stay. I stayed alone and felt perfectly safe. The patio overlooking the river is lovely and the conservatory is really spacious. Comfy sofa in the sitting room. Decent power on the shower I used. Plenty of places to walk to without having to drive. Very close to a small Co-Op.
Bit too dark if you want to read downstairs. Lit by lamps only. Beds not the comfiest. I slept in the back room in the double as the bed in the main room was a bit too lumpy for me. Very disappointed in the standard of cleaning given the current covid problem e.g. the kitchen table was sticky with good and I had to clean it. Plenty of cleaning products and sanitiser around the place. Don’t think there was a deep clean between visitors. Only a few hours between guests departing and arriving. Directions were incorrect as the traffic flow had been recently altered on the street, which caused a bit of a problem. On-street parking near the property was very limited. Fridge way too small unless you are expecting to be eating out. Fine for me on my own but wouldn’t have been big enough if I’d travelled with friends and we had all brought food.
