About this house rental

Our home is situated in a quiet lakeside suburb only 3 minutes walk to popular Wharewaka Bay (4 mile bay) and 10 minutes by car to the town centre. It is also 5 minutes by car to the airport and has a grocery supermarket and petrol station only 3 minutes away by car.

A single level home, it also has a great outdoor deck and garden area plus a spa pool to relax in. There is ample off-road parking.

The Lion's Walk (lakeside walk and cycle path) is only minutes away so you can either go for a walk/run or use the bicycles that are provided. A paddle board is also available to use.

Ideal holiday home suitable for families, couples and groups of friends. Private outdoor living spaces on easy care section.

We live in Auckland and will handle all your reservation and booking enquiries.
We have a Taupo local who will greet you and handle any property queries and local knowledge requirements that you may have.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The Wharewaka neighborhood, sometimes known as 4 mile bay, includes a mixture of locals and holiday homes. It has a great beach, being the only north facing beach in Taupo, a young children’s playground and picnic and barbecue area.

HOUSE RULES
- No pets allowed.
- No smoking allowed inside the house.
- No parties or events allowed.
- No vehicles to be parked inside the garage.
- Boat and water-sport equipment stored in the garage is unavailable for use (except for the paddle board).
- As we live in a quiet neighbourhood, no loud noise, parties or events are allowed at anytime.
- The fireplace is not to be used. Instead heat pumps have been provided for your use.
- No shoes to be worn in the House.

The property had everything we expected and more. Close to the lake & reserve. Spacious bedrooms, excellent layout, spa pool & barbecue. Plenty to keep everyone entertained with the added bonus of pool & table tennis tables. Such a comfortable & inviting home. One of the best places we’ve stayed at so far. We travelled from Auckland to Mt Ruapehu and all we wanted was a nice clean place to sleep at, and I’m so glad we booked this beautiful place. The house featured ammenities for all ages, from kids to adults. We stayed up till 4am enjoying all the amenities. The host was also very accommodating, he gave us extra time to check out. Absolutely loved the beautiful, quiet and safe location. For sure will book again.

Very impressed with every aspect of this beautiful holiday home. They thought of everything you could need to host a family group of 7 people, ages 10- 80 yrs. Beautiful and clean, great facilities and well equipped kitchen. Will definitely rebook next time we are in Taupo.

Rick, Jo and the team that look after this property have done a good job to keep everything in ship-shape and ensuring that all holiday makers that stay here are comfortable and well looked after. There's a lot of stuff included with the stay including a pool table, table tennis, mountain bikes, spa pool, bbq etc. Not only that, the house is conveniently located near a countdown (about a 5min drive) where you can do your shopping top ups. Would love to have stayed longer if our schedules allowed to do so.

Amazing house in a great location. Comes with heaps of amenities and entertainment and we will defiantly come back. Some minor suggestions for improvement would be more kitchen crockery so not washing dishes or putting dishwasher on frequently, specifically smaller coffee mugs for Nespresso machine; more plates, bowls and there were no red wine glasses. All minor improvements for what is a first class property and service. Thank you

Everything was perfect for our large group. Games room was great. Made use of the bikes and took them around the lake which is a 5 minute walk away. Beautiful smelling daphines as you walk through the front door. Towels were even dry cleaned! Would defintely recommend! Thanks Rick
