Sit back, relax, and let your busy life melt into the nightly tranquil sunset views from one of two soundside decks. Smell the salty ocean air, listen to crickets chirp, and hear the waves crashing along one of the most beautiful beaches on the East coast. This third row duplex house with its clean, charming rooms; colorful, beachy décor; and easy access to great local spots will whisk you away to that peaceful escape you’ve been dreaming about.
With 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 3 levels, and almost 1900 square feet, there will be plenty of room for everyone. Upon arrival, you will first notice a large carport/driveway that can accommodate four/five vehicles. You will also notice the fully-enclosed, outdoor shower and fenced backyard that backs directly up to the sound. Upon entering via keyless entry with your very own customized code, you step into a soothing, ground-level foyer with stairs leading up to the second level. The entry chalkboard assures you that this is your home and the ocean awaits!
The spacious master bedroom is located on the second level and has a king-sized bed with a pillow-top mattress, ceiling fan, two closets, 42-inch flat panel smart TV, a desk, dresser drawers perfect for organizing your beautiful vacation clothes, a private full bathroom with dual vanity and walk in shower, and a sound/sunset-view deck with Brazilian hammocks perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a nightcap. Also on the second level is a large bedroom with bunk beds with a full on bottom and a twin on top, a queen-sized bed, dresser drawers for organizing your vacation clothes, a ceiling fan, a closet, flat panel TV with Roku, and attached full bathroom with shower and bathtub. The second level also has a laundry area with a full-sized washer/dryer and iron & ironing board.
The third level boasts a beautiful living/dining area with dining for 10, a 50-inch flat panel smart TV, a DVD player, three couches (one is a sleeper sofa with an extrememly comfortable memory foam mattress), a comfy lounge chair/reading nook, and a large deck with table & chairs to enjoy all of those gorgeous sunset moments. The kitchen adjoins the living /dining area and is well-equipped with a dishwasher, garbage disposal, full oven/stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric griddle, blender, pots and pans of all sizes, plenty of dishware, glassware, cups, mugs, wine glasses, and even plastic cups, utensils, etc… for your little ones. Also on the third level is a full bathroom with shower and bathtub and a third bedroom. This beautiful & spacious room has a queen-sized, pillow-top bed and a full bed. There is also a ceiling fan, flat panel smart TV, closet, and dresser drawers for organizing your vacation clothes. Sheets and bedding for the sleeper sofa are located in this room.
With a perfect location within Surf City, just minutes from the Surf City pier, boat launch, fresh seafood market, grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and all that this amazing destination has to offer…you might want to plan a return visit too! The public beach access with ramp/steps is two short blocks away (an easy three minute walk)! There is also a sports bar/grill just down the road and two churches just across the street. In addition, there are two coffee shops, an ice cream shop, two pizza places, a deli, and a liquor store within walking distance as well as many other restaurants and bars a short bike ride away and many places with affordable bike rentals available...definitely something for everyone!!!! There is also a shuttle service new to Surf City with 30+ island and mainland stops with pick up locations close by that make travel from this location super easy!

Our group stayed here for a last minute quick weekend trip. The house was clean and as described. It is within walking distance of the public beach access and many restaurants and stores (including the ABC store) If you are not familiar with Topsail you may find it helpful to know that this house is on a VERY BUSY street which makes getting in and out of the driveway a bit tricky. The outdoor “shower” is more of a rinse station due to the large gaps between the wooden panels which makes it possible to see inside the shower while in use. The water pressure was good and the TP soft!

We enjoyed our stay. This home is only a fee blocks to the beach! It was nice to be able to bring our dog to the home. The bathroom had a lot of mold on the shower curtain. The front bedroom is noisy because of the busy road. It would have been nice to have had soap and shampoo. A fuse in the house blew and the fuse box was not accessible so we couldn’t make coffee in the morning. For the most part the house was nice and can sleep lots of people if you don’t mind staying in the same bedroom together! We missed not having a pool but we enjoyed the beach!

Spacious and inviting, and perfect for a getaway with our grown children and pets. The upper and lower decks were great for enjoying the early mornings and evenings, and it was an easy walk to the beach. Traffic on the main road is a little difficult when leaving the driveway or walking to the beach, but there was plenty of parking available.
Very comfortable beds with nice size rooms, and the master bedroom had a desk convenient for a little bit of remote work. Kitchen was very well stocked, and we were within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and night life. We used the grill as well which was nice.
The only downside was that our duplex neighbors also had dogs and you could hear them barking when they were away. That's not surprising when we purposely chose a property that allowed pets, though.
We had a wonderful visit and would definitely choose this property again!

My friends and I loved this stay! The house is incredibly spacious in person. The outdoor shower was so incredibly helpful to have and the yard was perfect for our dog! The location of this property was great because it was walkable to the beach as well as to restaurants and shops in town. The owners was incredibly accommodating and communicative as well, so I will definitely return back!

The property is in a great location, and offers a great layout perfect for a family vacation. The outdoor shower and Charcoal grill came in handy. A few minor updates are needed, blind in Master suit slider needs repair or replacement, pans in kitchen and kitchen faucet are showing their age. Adding directions on how to operate the shower would be helpful. Other than these few minor items, we loved experience. This was our second stay and we would stay here again. Owners are very responsive to questions.

We have stayed in a handful of rental homes and this one by far was the best experience we have had. The hosts are very responsive for any questions / concerns. The home is super charming and described here to a T. It is in a perfect location with shopping, the beach and restaurants. The home has all the amenities you could need....great showers, good laundry, great appliances, and really comfortable furniture. My favorite was the outdoor shower and hammocks!! They really thought of the "little things" that you wouldn't expect - for example super comfy blankets to wrap up in on the couch, good quality mattresses. My family and I left here with tears as we drove home. Many memories made and will be remembered for a lifetime. Thank you Holly and Richard!!!

We had access to plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The bonus is being able to walk to the beach or to shops in minutes. We will definitely be returning.

Cozy stay
We love the beach, what makes it better is staying at a place that makes us feel at home. The house was nice, clean, and cozy. The location is perfect walking distance to the beach and the ice cream shops for the kids. We had such a great time and have created so many memories that were looking forward to going back.
