Avoid food at the hotel, rooms need serious revamp

Location and thats it, though should have chosen some other place as that was the only thing I could find good about it

Air con was smelling of nicotine at night, toilet got clogged and had to call house keeping. The safe was not working (though on complaining they fixed it). The food was terrible and unhygienic at best, hairy pig meat, dishes tasted terrible and morning buffet was at the most mediocre. Terrible experience, would avoid it

If the facility is as nice as the front desk receptionist, I may stay next time

The front desk is warm and patient.

My flight delayed more than 6 hours for airport shut down aircraft runway. My original plan is to stay there for a comfortable night and transfer to other country the next day. Due to the flight delay, I arrived almost early morning and the next flight is four hours later. I want to cancel the hotel booking but not able to and need penality. The hotel's soundproofing is poor, and bathtub drain is clogged. It is so nervous not able to cancel booking and have to fight with poor facilities.

Great Experience, we come back to this hotel again

Hotel was within walking distance to good food and the transportation (Bus or Taxi) are easy accessible to get around Macau. We travel from the hotel to Zhu Hai crossing border, just 10 minutes.

Value for Money to stay

A real Value for money property in Macau. The front office, concierge all were very pleasing, polite and ever willing to help. A Bus route has a stop right in front of the hotel. Walking distance to some good local eateries and famous "branded" hotels. They do have interconnecting rooms which is a great help when going with family.

Age slowly showing in the property. Some confusions regarding breakfast package. Many taxi cabs aren't familiar when we say Holiday Inn as there are a couple. Have a screen shot google map of destination in Mandarin to show cabs, then they are spot on

weekend in Macau

Staff is very helpful, also very kind. They did mention there is some work going on but we heard no loud noise and had a great time. Bus stops are near by to visit diff places in the city.

Maybe OK if you smoke

Wi-Fi was strong. Lighting worked and was warm and cosy.

Non-smoking room had scent cups placed in corners around the room to disguise the smell of smoke. As a result it smelled of a mix of smoke and chemical scent. Aircon did not help with it. Bearable for one night only.

Value for Money. Pleasant stays.

Location is very good indeed. We stayed in 10th floor on 12 May and then on 17th floor on 14 May. I must say the room at 17th floor was much better than the one located at 10th. Room was spacious for two persons. Special mentions must be accorded to Frankie at the front desk. he was patient and very helpful trying his best to accommodate our requests. Special thanks must be accorded to the staffs at the Concierge for their assistance rendered.

There were no note pad or pencil / pen.
