Lis bordes sucios, mugre flotando, paredes chorreteadas, pintura descascarada.

Scam scam scam.
Price on booking.com was not honored on arrival. Receptionist tried to justify that foreigners should be charged a higher currency conversion and that this was standard practice - despite this not being the case at any other hotels we stayed at in the area. So many other, nicer options in El Calafate with much better customer service.

bella struttura posizionata un po’ fuori dal centro ma con una navetta gratuita ogni ora sia per andare che per tornare
la climatizzazione della camera non era gestibile. molto caldo.

We had a very relaxing stay in a great room with a fabulous bathroom that included a jacuzzi bath , walk in power shower an adjoining living room and fantastic views. I had an amazing massage - back and neck and the swimming pool was lovely after a day visiting the glacier and national park . The staff were all very professional and helpful.

has on-site spa services available.
the lady on reception was so friendly and personable
free parking
good views from the restaurant overlooking the lake.
recommend paying in pesos to qualify for the tourist (blue) rate, we used visa and received the blue rate automatically when doing so.
There was problems with the heating when we stayed the first night it was too hot and couldn’t be turned down / off.
spa hotel but no steam room
the road leading into the hotel is gravel and the car would struggle to climb up without skidding
hot water wasn’t amazing

This is not a 5star hotel (any more), perhaps due to the pandemic the hotel is really lacking some maintenance and has lost many of its services and ammanities.
The location has nice views, but most rooms dont. The beds are good and you can control the temperature in your room. There is in indoor heated pool (37Celcius), good enough for a short dip.
The hotel is just screeming need of some good management and maintenance. Housekeeping is sloppy and forgets soaps on arrival and removed all our towels after the first day without replacing them. The room facilities are a 5/10 at best. Just a tea kettle, no tea cups or tea bags. The shower does not keep temperature and the drain is clogged (and remains so even after we asked maintenance to check it out) There are not bathropes and pool towels in the room, you need to get them at reception.
The the Spa, we had one great spa massage, there is one therapist present between 15-21h, but no specials hamam etc available. the saunas are really small and feel a bit funny. The pool is in need of a new paint job many stains and a lot of lose tiles and broken lamps.
the restaurant is not worth your while, the food is oke tough. but the atmosphere is not

The hotel is located outside the city center of El Calafate, however there is a hotel shuttle service in the late afternoon/evening. Nice warm relaxing pool. Beautiful design.
Dark design of stairs made us stumble several times, luckely without severe consequences.
We would rate this hotel with four stars instead if five.
The “spa” consists of only a few small sauna cabins.

3.0 / 5.0
very nice staff, comfortable large rooms, bar with food options open all day long
spa facilities (pool) a bit run down, sauna is not directly linked to the swimming pool, you can t have drinks in the pool area, massages only available from 5 to 9pm, food at the restaurant was not good

The staff were super friendly and professional.
Veronica was super helpful and she manages her team with kindness and efficiency.
Nothing really, maybe the music at the restaurant, but I am being very picky.

We’ve got an upgrade to the master bedroom and it was very nice! Spacious room with beautiful look on the lake. a special thanks to Veronica for letting us feel very welcome!

We had an amazing stay. The room and facilities are beautiful and well-kept, and the staff is super friendly. Access to the pool and spa, as well as hourly transfers to the city center are included in the price (it’s a 5 minute drive). Breakfast is excellent.
It really is a great value for the price of the stay.
Just 2 details to improve:
Add more vegan options at the adjacent restaurant (they have 1 vegan salad, and it is not gluten free). Any vegetable protein would be highly appreciated.
The rooms could use more electrical plugs. We only had 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom.
None of these were a deal breaker, though. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel.

The hotel is clean and welcoming with a lovely spa. It is quiet and it is very relaxing. The room and the bathroom were both spacious and comfy with great pillows!!! They also happily gave a late check out when we asked.
I specifically asked if they could cater for a vegan at breakfast and both mornings I was told there was nothing for me (other than the fruit and bread and cereal that was on the buffet). They did provide some almond milk when I asked but made no effort otherwise to provide some other vegan options despite me asking the previous days directly to the staff and them saying they’d try.
The hotel is a good 40 minute walk to the centre of town otherwise you need to rely on the hotel shuttle bus or have a car.
2.0 / 5.0
Spacious room
Complementary shuttle to town (only available from 5:30pm to 8:30pm)
Fridge in the room
Nice shower pressure
I have used booking for a long time but i usually don't write Reviews.
Considering that this is a 5 star hotel, we didn’t have luxury stay expectations but this place lack in quality. It's hardly even 3 star hotel.
Breakfast had very little fresh things, tasty or anyhow appetizing. Very basic. Peach and pineapple were canned. And it didn't change anything. For dinner I requested a pasta with salmon and it was a small plate and taste alright, but price was a lot higher than excelent restaurants in town.
Hotel is FAR from city center. Hotel provide transfers but only between 5:30pm and 8:30pm which unfortunately is a small window considering dinner time. If they provide one or two in the morning and a later then 8:30pm it would help a lot. Taxis costs around 600 pesos each trip.
The cost of the night is much higher than the quality, sorry.

The room and all the space of hotel were clean.
Really, I write reviews not so often, but this time my expectations were a lot higher than reality.
WiFi connection is very bad (this problem is because of ping-time).
Hotel is VERY FAR from city center. So you need to use transfers at certain time to get the center of El Calafate.
Some people at reception speak english a bit poor.
The most important thing that rooms are very dark. Really it's just impossible to work or read at the table, you see nothing.
If this is 5-star hotel.. it even hasn't got complimentary bottles of water in the room!
So, the cost of the night is much higher than the quality, sorry.

The hotel was massively understaffed. For example, even to get a bottle of water, we had to wait for ~3 hours.

Nothing
I won’t talk long about problems with reservation itself because that was least of this hotel’s problem. Hotel is unbelievably dated and desperately needs renovation. Rooms are very basic, smell of cheap air freshener and had very cheap mattresses and pillows. Went for breakfast in the morning, these was absolutely nothing fresh, tasty or anyhow appetizing. Very basic. After this experience we left to town for sandwiches and empanadas. What a shame. Its hardly even 3 star hotel. We didn’t have luxury stay expectations but this place is shockingly poor in quality.
