Very clean and tidy.
Welcoming.
Mattress was a little firm, but nothing I couldn't deal with.
3.5
Hair dryer, bug spray, nice pool, lots of toilet paper, plenty of pillows
Pillows were an odd height, too thin for one, too thick for two.
Needs stronger light bulbs in the main light

CLEAN AND FRIENDLY

The place was decent, clean and value for money. The owner was lovely and easy to deal with. I loved the history of the building and itvwax actually a beautiful old building to stay in.
1. The windows didn't lock. This didn't make me feel safe. Literally could pull it open with a finger from the outside.i was room7. Not sure about the other rooms.
2. The window didn't close tightly shut either so having the cleaning staff take there smoking breaks on the tables right out front of my window wasn't pleasant
3. The "do not disturb" sign was ignored twice. My room was made up by the cleaning staff while I was out on a bike ride with my partner. Sign visibly hanging on the door saying do not disturb. I don't want anyone in my space while I'm away. I'm entitled to privacy. Did not add to my feeling of security eithe. I told owner about it who wasn't too fussed about my concern but did appologise
4. The owner himself then ignored the sign within 30 minutes of this conversation to knock on my door to tell me they mischarged me. My partner and I had just got back from a long bike ride and were about to have a nap. I was naked in bed while my partner spoke to him at the door. He didn't seem to care how awkward this was and kept talking. . I also advised him I was extremely unhappy about this after my nap and he had another lame excuse for ignoring it. He seen the sign but assumed I'd left it on by mistake. He did not try to call my phone or contact me any other way. Even if the sign was left by mistake, do not disturb until you know for a fact. This is not ok.
5. One of the cleaning peoples breaks, while they were smoking outside my room again, I heard the 2 ladies giggle that one accidentally walked in on a male guest to clean the room and he was still in the room. The one hearing the story laughed and asked if he was naked. If this was reversed sexes it would be outrage.
These guys don't seem to respect privacy here.
The smoking by my room wasn't cool either to be honest. The place was a loveky heritage building and this made the place look less. Perhaps staff could smoke somewhere more private.

Well fitted disabled room with everything we needed.
Unfortunately we were only able to stay 2nights as I received a message on day 2 regarding the need to return to Geelong for an urgent CT scan scheduled the next day. So an abrupt end to our planned relaxing time away....!

Really friendly staff. Sarah and Paul and the other staff are ultra friendly.
Bed was comfortable.
All amenities were there. Plenty of clean towels.
Great location. Walking distance to supermarkets.
Way too much noise from cars on the street. If I didn't have ear plugs I wouldn't have got any sleep. And you can hear noise in the room next door.
