Mon « chico » et moi avons passé 2 merveilleux jours dans cette auberge. Tout est super propre, les lits sont confortables, les parties communes agréables et les douches sont chaudes. Et surtout il y a Johanna, ce petit bout de femme absolument adorable - un rayon de soleil. Toujours là pour aider, discuter ou donner des conseils. Elle tient l’auberge avec beaucoup de force et de courage, toujours avec le sourire. Elle prépare de super petits déjeuners et est super attentionnée. On a vraiment bien profité, détente dans les hammacs, un massage, des pancakes au petit dejeuner pour mon « chico » bref c’était super! Je recommande à tout le monde cette auberge et aussi surtout de venir en Equateur - tout va bien ici !

It was a very nice stay in the Molino Blanco, the staff was always super friendly and organised activities for you, the breakfast was huge and very tasty. It is a bit up the hill in Baños, so you need to go up again when you go into town. It was very clean and we would definitely visit again.

It was very pleasant and we had nothing to complain about.

Great place at Baños!

The bathrooms were absolutely clean and so was the room. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and helpful organizing tours.

Staff only speaks Spanish but really tries their best to help you as much as possible

dorm room is not best ventilated, despite there is a small window. maybe considering keep the door open during the day when travelers are out?

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast! You can book activities from the hostel at a great price. They also have a spa - the massages I had were so good.

Great relaxing stay in Banos if you want quiet

Loved our stay here, we arrived on the night bus so the 24 hour check in was great you ring a bell to wake them up. It was super quiet at night with no bars noisy nearby was super tranquil. We had a beautiful Mountain View and enjoyed our 5 nights here. breakfast was yummy too and ensured I had gluten free options. Owner is great, very helpful with booking tours and she has a great personality :)

relaxed stay close to nature trails

removed from the loud or busy part of town. close to two trail entrances. common space to sit outside or inside. comfortable and bright rooms.

we could hear most of the noise outside through the windows. the blinds didn’t keep much light out, which we adapted to fine and woke up with the sun.

Awesome moments!

Everything!! Jhoana is soooo adorable! She's making such wonderful breakfasts. She cleaned my dorm while I was totally hungover and she took good care of me :) The garden outside is nice to chill, rooms a comfy and the staff are helpful. I arrived late on the 30th and it was pouring rain. There was no delivery services so the guy at the reception (sorry I forgot your name) took me in his car to go pick up some food!! Wow 👏🎉💕

The only little thing is that basic tours are 6$ when 3$ 2 minutes by foot...2 days in a row we booked a tour that never came to pick us! (Holliday and traffic reasons) So just take your lazy ass and walk downtown ;)

Amazing! Feels like home, incredible breakfast - by far the best hotel on our trip to Ecuador

To begin with, the host family totally saved us when we couldn’t get a bus to Alausi and spontaneously had to go to Baños. Not only did they organize a room for us, but they got up in the middle of the night to let us in. Everyone there is incredibly kind and helpful, the hostel feels like a home and the breakfast ist amazing! also a shout out to the choice of breakfast background music which we really enjoyed :). Absolutely would recommend this hostel to anyone going to baños!

I would highly recommend staying at La Casa del Molino Blanco B&B.

Elba and Joanna made me feel very welcome, and were very helpful in providing information regarding things to see and do in Baños. The included breakfast was good, and varied from day to day. Kitchen facilities were available from late morning until late evening. Free coffee and tea were always available. There was a nice sitting area, with hammocks as well, in the garden area at the entrance. There was an area where guests were welcome to hand-wash clothes, with a drying area.

There was no hot water in the shower on 2 occasions. This may have been due to not letting the water run long enough, but more likely that the gas tank was empty and required changing. The situation was remedied once brought to the staff's attention. The location was a little distant from the center of town, but more so, was up a significant hill, which could be a problem for some guests. However, the location meant it was very quiet, which can be a big plus.

A little slice of home!

The owners are warm and really make you feel welcomed. They help with anything you ask of them (tours, taxis, laundry, etc). Quality breakfast. Quiet and peaceful. Room cleaned daily. Security entrance gate.

Steep walk up from main part of town. Double bed is small for 2 people. Charging point only on one side of the bed.

We could have stayed longer

The owner was beyond helpful and everyone super friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the whole place clean. We also booked some spa treatments and a full day jungle tour through the B&B for very affordable prices. My friend left her cap and I one of my AirPods in the room and the owner messaged us immediately when she found them AND made the mission to bring our stuff to the bus station where we were about to leave town.

All I wanted

The host and the staff are absolutely lovely and will assist you with everything. A verry warm and welcoming place to stay. The room was big and always clean as well as the bathrooms, which are equipped with a big shower and verry hot water. The location is not in the center of Baños, but it is easy, safe and fast to walk to and from the hostel. The tours, which are offerde by the hostel are at a good pricepoint and verry entertaining. I definitely recommend visiting and enjoying Baños in this wonderfull place.

Cosy stay, super clean hostel

It was squeaky clean, a hotel-like feeling (clean towels every day!), but at the same time felt very cosy. The dorms were really well equipped (big lockers, drawers, usb charger). Joanna is extremely sweet and you can tell that she works hard to make the guests as comfortable as possible.

The owners were super helpful with planning our activities and our travels. Everyone was so kind with big smiles, it made me and my friends feel so comfortable. One my friends doesn’t speak Spanish, so the owner’s ability to speak English was huge as well. The breakfast was nice and filling (usually eggs or yogurt with some bread, jam, ham and cheese). Overall, thank you so much!

The staff is very nice. They even speak a bit of German. You can book all the tours via the hotel. Nice garden area with hammocks where you can meet the other guests. The breakfast is amazing. The room was very clean and the beds super comfortable!

You need to walk 10 minutes (and uphill) from downtown area to get to the hotel. But for that it's super quiet and if you wanna hike, the walks start directly next to the hotel. There is no free water, which is not usual in Ecuador, that could be offered for the price.

Stay here for a city break

Location was quieter, but still just a quick walk from the center of town. Near hiking trails. Great staff and cook - Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Good food. Massage room for couples massage was wonderful, convenient, and affordable. Awesome private room with great view, lots of space, and comfortable bed.

Only heads up - as with most places in Ecuador, be prepared for loud early am dog and rooster noise.

Great stay in Banos

I had a fabulous private room which had a view of the mountians and of the waterfall. This location was great because it is about 4 mins outside of downtown area so less noise in the evening. Is only a 5 min walk to the Hot Springs pools. The breakfast was huge and the staff took into account my food allergies and adapted to my needs. Both Elva and Anthony helped me with tours, showed me where the hiking routes were( right behind the property) and made my stay fabulous. The hostel itself is absolutely beautiful, hardwood floors, large recreation room with books, and movies on a big screen tv. Outside it has a garden with hammocks and plenty of seating. I will definitely return.

Hosts of property are outstanding. You feel like part of the family. Stayed 6 days and may come back for a month.

Quiet , friendly, very big, very clean. Good value.

Stayed in apartment, would have liked a TV. Furnishings are a little tired and worn, could use an update or couch recovering, new deck chairs.

Exceptional experience

Great location, fast WiFi and really nice hot shower. I think we got upgraded to a king suite which was really nice because we have a baby so a king bed was perfect. They also let us have our breakfast in bed. Nice flat screen tv too which we connected our Netflix account.
