This home was a great fit for our family (three generations). The location is quiet and remote but still relatively walkable (beach, food) for my young kids and my mother. We were surprised to find the home included regular visits from a housekeeper, which made our stay more luxuriously comfortable. The home itself is clean and homey and had all the amenities we could have wanted.

This was a beautiful property, although it is a bit dated it felt very clean and tidy with plenty of space. It was a great location about a good 3 hours drive from the airport so you see a lot of Fiji ( mind the potholes). It is a 5 minute walk to the village. It had everything you needed soap ( bring your own shampoo), washing machine powder, everything we needed in the kitchen, pool towels,, bath towels, etc. There is a lady that comes in a couple of times during our week stay and she changed our sheets and does any tidying you ask. She is lovely and very accommodating. The check in and out was as simple as a lock box and great instructions from owner and property manager. Wifi was good. Within a 5 minute walk there are two resorts, The Pearl and Fiji Palms who are both very welcoming and we used Fiji Palms as our resort. We booked trips through them, used their beach access, used their bar and restaurant. They remember our names and treated us like guests.

Plenty of room great pool good price
no dvd's as advertised listing said elevator, but not one. could be a problem for anyone with mobility problems who booked because of that. We didn't need one.
Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location as the Dive shop we were using was down the road. Also Skinny Bean café , Money changer and restaurants.
Easy parking, comfortable beds, soothing pool. Even a BBQ. We as a group were pleased this is the option we choose. We enjoyed cooking together and watching Netflix. Overall we saved some money from staying at resorts.

Nice villa
Nice villa for my family. The pool was the best part. My kids really enjoyed the pool. The WiFi was disappointing since there was only limited data available per day but was sorted out after talking to the property manager.

lovely villa and pool
The villa is lovely, and is serviced by the lovely and accommodating Kiti (house keeper). It was perfect for our stay and our party of 5, which included my elderly parents (75) and my two boys (11 & 13). It’s easy to get involved in more social activities (if you prefer) at the local resorts. We went to the Thursday night Lovo buffet at uprising- which was great. For those interested in some adventure I would recommend contacting Rivers Fiji (get their contact details from the activities booking booth, by the pool, at the Pearl Resort) - we had a lovely day hiking in the forest, a swim at a waterfall, picnic and then a river boat ride along the Navua - with a lovely local family. Thanks Antonina and Kiti

Little slice of Paradise
I would recommend this place to anyone. Our own little slice of paradise to come home to everyday or just to hang out in all day.
This villa has everything you need for a very comfortable stay, we spent alot of our time in the pool, very private and quiet.
Our housekeeper Kiti is lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Doesnt look like theres much around but we did find a couple of hidden gems.. At the shops along the road there is a wee place called Skinny Bean Cafe, it has beautiful food, amazing iced coffee and lovely owners. Also further down the road you will find a resort called Uprising, head on down we spent many a day there drinking cocktails, soaking up the sun and hanging out with some of the locals. Very friendly staff. One thing I do recommend though is to get your groceries in Nadi before hand and bring in your own duty free as it is very expensive there. Unless you like the local beers :)
Thank you Antonina for sharing your wee slice of paradise with us :)

Palatial but remote
Property was spacious and comfortable. Rent a car though it is very secluded and not real close to any services. Very nice though. Poor weather was the main detractor of our trip and this property made it bearable.

The house is located in pacific harbour. This is an area where a lot of expads have a villa.
This house is old. Interior, exterior. Not what we are used to have in europe or the US. Everything is used very much and worn out. The kitchen is a bit sticky and also very old. Kitchendoors are painted 20 times and also a long time ago.
The beds are small and only there you have aironditioning. Not in the kitchen or living room.
The towels, bedsheets have all different colors.
The musquito doors are working but again very old and worn out.
The same with the shower curtains. It can drop any minute.
Sealant joins in the bathrooms are full with fungus and dirty.
The water in the swimming pool is clean. But everything around it is again very old. The wooden part in front of the pool is rotten and the edge of the pool can be painted once.
I can continue but i have mixed feelings.
Is this perhaps this is normal in fiji? Is this what you get for this price in fiji?
Shouldn’t we go next time to a resort in a country like this?
We spend 10 days in the villa and after a day or two we where used to the situation.
But for the next family who wants to book be aware of this all.
Not bad....but you have to accept the above.

Beautiful and relaxing
The property is beautiful, clean and has everything you need and more. It is in a perfect location, close to the shops and restaurants and convenient for tourist activities. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful to us. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone travelling to Fiji.

We really like villa 62.
We really like villa 62. It was an awesome, get-away, quiet and still very conveniently located close to all amenities. Really like the private nature of the place and open floor plan that really fit our family of four.
This place is awesome. As soon as we arrived, we really felt right at home! That was the expression this place give you. The house has an open floor plan, lots of windows for light and free flowing space. It also has all the appliances you’d find in a modern home to make your stay enjoyable. We really like the fact it had a private pool which the kids enjoyed, as well as a bonus room which was a nice get-away for the kids to play in. The rooms are very spacious, especially the master suite. The villa is also very close to all shopping/restaurants and The Perl/Uprising which we visited frequently to partake in other activates. We also rented canoes from nearby to go around the lagoon which is about 50 feet from the villa. The kids really enjoyed feeding the fish every morning. Good times and life-time memories made.
Oh, and the booking/staff were very easy to work with which made for such an awesome experience. A Big Vinaka and highly recommend this place.

Warm and Welcoming Retreat in Pacific Harbour
First impressions are always important and this residence did not disappoint. From it's welcoming appearance to the beautiful swimming pool this is truly a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of hectic western lives.
The villa is well laid out with enough bed space for two families, all the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, towels and linen, washing machine and dryer all provided.
Though it has an older style interior the villa has been well built with the most beautiful polished wooden floors.
The villa has the added attraction of kiti the house keeper thus you have it all. Kiti is a gem and made our stay all the more comfortable, recommending the best places to shop, assisting with the shopping and keeping the place spic and span.
We found this a great place to stay, had a wonderful time and will be returning in the future.

A Quiet Corner of Beauty
My wife and son and I spent a beautiful 5 days at the property as part of a larger vacation in Fiji which included, Suva, Taveuni and Nadi. It was delightful to enjoy the many pluses of this place including: the fast [for Fiji!] Internet, the pool to cool off in, the ability to cook our own meals - with plenty of good groceries available not far away, the size of the place - spacious, so that we could have our own space when needed.
The very long beach at Pacific Harbour was mostly empty and great to swim in and walk along - at any time of day. And we had a few coffees and drinks at the Pearl Hotel - a 5 Star resort just a 10 minute walk away. It has a great gift shop too. We also walked all the way to the 'Uprising', another resort way down the beach - good food there too [a bit greasy!].
Kiti, the house-keeper was always willing to go the extra mile to make us feel at home and aware of the local culture - she even prep'd a fresh coconut for us to drink the 'bu' - amazing, delicious coconut water.
But mostly, we liked the simple life of that place - hardly any traffic - so very quiet, and always beautiful! We read, we slept, we sunbathed .. an experience of 'Fiji time'.

Wonderful place to relax or get active
I've lived in Fiji in the past, so it was great to go back with my extended family, and we could not have chosen a better place to stay than this house in Pacific Harbour. Everything they claim about this house is true! We were amazed at the range of activities and amenities now available in the Pacific Harbour area, and the younger members of the family had a wonderful time diving at Beqa Island, kayaking the Navua River, fishing and so forth, while others of us enjoyed relaxing by the pool or at the lovely beach that is only 10 minutes' walk away. The house is extremely well-equipped and it was great to be able to choose to eat home-cooked meals or go out to one of the really good restaurants nearby. The house was perfectly suited for a big family like ours, but would be just as good for a couple. And so private and quiet!
I noticed an earlier reviewer complaining about the internet service, but we had no problems at all with it. Anyway, having lived in Fiji we know that sometimes things don't work as well as they do in developed countries, and that's OK with us. We were impressed by the helpful binder of instructions left by the owners, and had excellent support from Kiti and Richard when we needed it. Really, this is a wonderful place to stay and we're already planning our next visit!
3.0 / 10.0
The house was clean and ready for us with clear instructions in the binder. The pool was great and got used a lot. Main drawbacks was losing internet on the second day we were there. No email, no news nothing. Supposedly we went over the data cap but all we did was check email and a few facebook messages- no videos or music streaming. Also the kitchen didnt even have salt. Every other VRBO house I have rented had at least a few basic kitchen items on hand all I can guess is the house hasnt been rented out in so long? Pacific Harbour is perfect if you want activities to do. We went zip lining, did the side by side buggys up to the waterfall and scuba diving. Its really a great little town.

This is a great place for a holiday
My family and I have stayed in this villa a few times over the past several years now and we are always happy to come back. Pacific Harbour is booming these days, with new restaurants and things to do opening up regularly. If you're into food, there is everything from fine dining at the Pearl and the newly-opened restaurant The Establishment through good resort-type fare at Uprising and Oasis to real local curries and excellent fish and chips. The villa is perfectly located for family holidays or an intimate get-away, with no end of stimulating activities available to burn off the calories. Everyone loves the Zipline forest canopy rides, and the diving with the diving with the sharks off Beqa Island is world-famous. I like to relax by the pool and take long quiet walks on the beach or through the golf course. The house is always clean and tidy, and Kiti is always ready to help if necessary. I recommend this one to everyone I meet!

Excellent
Had a very relaxing time in this lovely home by the river. The property is very well maintained and felt like a home away from home. Lovely pool and grounds, we enjoyed sitting outside and playing in the water. Near the ocean, and the seas were very mild looking out on Pacific Harbor, so we felt safe swimming even though not familiar with the area. Easy access to a shopping area for basic food needs. Highly recommended!

Spacious, peaceful, gorgeous!
Really enjoyed our second stay in this beautiful, well-appointed and well-kept home. Location is very private in a secluded neighbourhood.
(Kitty the housekeeper is an angel!)
Master bedroom with ensuite is gorgeous, as is the pool.
Easy walk to the beach.
Local amenities close by at the 'cultural centre' - grocery store, coffee shop, cafe's, post office, ATM.
Fun resort clothes at 'Dream On' - an island gem!
Luxury spa treatments at the Pearl Resort across the main street.
Would definitely recommend and would love to return!

Like Coming Home!
This is the 5th time I have stayed there and it felt like I was coming home - in terms of comfort, familiarity, attractive beauty and desirable functionality. I love the quiet. I love the pool. I love the ocean - so close. I love the convenience of the shops - just a 20 minute walk, and that beautiful Pearl hotel on the beach, when I wanted some high class meal or drink. As before, I took the Coral Sun bus from Suva, and then continued on to Nadi when I needed to - very convenient.
I can highly recommend this place for anyone doing some business in Suva [to avoid having to stay in Suva!], or just for your Fiji holiday, as Pacific Harbour is packed with fun things to do [I didn't do any of them this time, but they're there!].

Perfect home base to see beautiful Fiji
What a great time to visit Fiji! We loved the mild weather, although it was still plenty warm to swim. The house was a winner for our family of 5. Everyone had their own space which they really appreciated. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The youngest loved running outside and jumping straight into his own private swimming pool.
Thanks to Richard, Kitty, Sushila, and Raj for their services. They were friendly and helpful and we liked chatting with them. Additionally, the detailed Villa book answered all of our questions about the home and the surrounding area. The neighborhood/community was safe, quiet, and well-maintained and there were excellent dining options.
We enjoyed fresh fruit, curries, and delicious seafood every day. There are two stores within walking distance which made it easy for us to take care of breakfasts and snacks. The nearby Uprising resort has a great beach. They didn't have any problem with us using the beach though we did have one of our meals there first so they knew we weren't just using their facilities for nothing. Their food is a bit on the pricey side and what we had was good but not great. I'll put it this way - some of the best meals we had in Pacific Harbour were also the least expensive. You get a sense pretty quickly which restaurants cater to tourists and those enjoyed by the locals.
In addition to the relaxing beach days, the excursions were a lot of fun. We spent a day in Suva, visited the Colo-i-Suva Forest, and hiked around the Sigatoka Sand Dunes national park. We also loved the Kila Eco-Adventure Park which has a zipline, a ropes course, and a fairly intimidating giant swing. Not for the faint of heart!
Overall, we loved the time we spent in Pacific Harbour. The home felt comfortable and inviting from the moment we arrived. We would definitely enjoy a return trip in the future.

Perfect for quiet business work and meetings
My extended stay at this lovely villa was great! It accommodated my schedule perfectly. I came on business and this environment was ideal for me with excellent internet access and a large central table for me to spread out work and have meetings. The Villa gets such a nice breeze being close to the river that I never needed air conditioning although it is available. The kitchen was easy to fix a quick meal in and the House girl did my laundry and cleaned the house happily. Restaurants are plentiful at nearby Arts Village and several hotels. If I visit Fiji again next year I will definitely stay here.

The Place for the Perfect Holiday
I've been back to this house many times now. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful, but within walking distance of a great beach, restaurants, shops and other entertainment, I think it's the perfect place for a family holiday or an intimate get-away.
The house itself really does lend itself to relaxed living, with its big sliding doors and wide, shady verandahs. Just walk across the road and if you're lucky you might catch a fish or two for the undercover barbie beside the pool. And there's lots of world-class diving, sport-fishing and other adventures available nearby. Terrific!

Convenient and Homey
A very nice villa with a nice resort across the street and restaurants nearby.
Property was nice and clean. Older fixtures and a few bugs around. Maid came twice and cleaned up for us (and stayed a bit longer than we would've liked). The pool was fantastic and we spent quite a bit of time on the deck reading. The kitchen was great and we cooked every breakfast, lunch and a couple dinners while we were in fiji (saved us loads of money). With just the two of us this house was a bit big (the AC unit made the temperature just right), but for a larger group 4-6 it would be just perfect!

A great house in Paradise - home away from home!
We were lucky enough to spend 2.5 weeks at this house. Everything in the listing was accurate and the house is very well kept. Raj and Kitty were both a great help in greeting us and making our stay as enjoyable as possible, with many suggestions and tips on what to do in the area. Our stay really felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed every day of our visit and did many of the activities around the area. We also spent 3 nights at a Resort in Denarau (near the airport), but the last 3 days at the Resort could not compare to the better experience we had in Pacific Harbour. A real Fiji experience!
The Cultural Arts Center in Pacific Harbour was so convenient with places to eat, a store to buy groceries, shopping, and an ATM all close by. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to cook at home and found everything at the Villa that we needed. There are a couple of resort hotels nearby that we also went to for some evening meals or a nice lunch. We took the canoe out on the river several times and loved seeing the area from a different perspective. The pool was great. The kids loved being able to jump in whenever they wanted to. We also went to the local beaches close by, which you can walk to or drive, if you have a car. Having a car was good, so we could venture out to nearby areas easily.
Pacific Harbour is a great place to stay since many of the Island activities start out here or are nearby.
We hope to come back again and highly recommend this house to anyone considering a Fiji trip.

Lovely, relaxing stay in quiet town
The house was well-equipped and as described online. With just two of us, we didn't use all the space but it suited us well for a vacation to simply relax and enjoy time together. We made good use of the bikes (we did not rent a car--took the bus from the airport) and enjoyed the canoe and adventuring around the area. Absolutely loved the pool. It was unfortunate that the internet did not work at any point in our stay (DSL and phone line had static issues which we think hindered the internet). Fortunately, the rates are very reasonable at the internet cafe in town. We appreciated having DVDs and the few satellite channels to watch in the evenings as it is definitely quiet in the area and the perfect end to a couple rainy days. We were thankful for the helpful "house manual" that came in handy on more than one occasion and the management were incredibly prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had.
We ate out only a couple times, once in the village for pizza and once at the Uprising Resort--both were adequate. Tried to cook using as many local ingredients and food as possible but spice options were VERY limited so food remained simple in nature. Husband did the Shark Dive with Aqua Trek and Speardiving with Freedive Fiji--both were professional operations with excellent service. Thanks for providing such a lovely place to retreat.

The Ideal 'Executive Villa' For Your Fiji Visit
This is my third stay in this house and when the opportunity arises, it will be my fourth stay venue, and fifth ...! This place is beautiful, well equipped, well serviced and well maintained, and located just 45 minutes from your business in Suva, but far, far from the noise and pollution of the city. Best beach in Fiji just a 10 minute walk. Great hotel - The Pearl - a high-class place to hang out and invite people. And there's the golf course clubhouse [I don't golf, but the food and ambiance is great]. One great thing is that there are several very reliable and helpful people around who serve this property who can answer your every question and take care of things should the need arise. So there's no worries about arriving and having no one to deal with for something that doesn't work, or an emergency of whatever kind that you don't know how to handle in a strange land.
All in all - my kinda place!
