Liebevoll geführtes Hotel

Das Haus ist absolut zu empfehlen, es wird durch Melania sehr herzlich geführt, man merkt im Umgang der Mitarbeiterinnen untereinander, dass sie Spass an der Arbeit haben, diese Freude an der Sache wird an die Gäste übertragen. Auch das angeschlossene Bistro ist absolut zu empfehlen, nicht nur der einzigartige Sonnenuntergang, die Küche schmeckt abseits, des Pasta und Pizza Mainstreams wunderbar. Wir haben den Shuttleservice zum Strand nicht genutzt und sind in ca. 30 Minuten zu fuss dorthin gegangen, absolut zu empfehlen, der kurze Spaziergang bietet Ausblicke aufs Meer die man sonst vermissen würde.

Veldig hyggelig lite hotell rett utenfor Sorrento

Vi hadde et utrolig godt opphold. Vi fikk god service under hele oppholdet. Rovatiana i resepsjonen viste stor omsorg og engasjement i alt. Hun var behjelpelig med å ordne med to båtturer (Amalfi og Capri - anbefales). Frokosten på hotellet var veldig god. Med en kokk som virkelig viste glede og kunnskap ved å lage mat fil sine gjester var både frokosten og middagen en opplevelse. Parkeringen var inne på området, parkering på gata er ikke å anbefale. Buss til Sorrento er også en mulighet. Tusen takk til alle som bidro til noen flott dager for oss. Eneste minuset var været 😁

Fantastic boutique hotel , away from the hustle & bustle of Sorrento & maged by passionate & customer focuse

In Massa Lubrense a town 15 min approximately from Sorrento there is a boutique hotel MelRose Realis that is 5 star in every way possible. From the moment we checked in we were treated with incredible customer service . Walter in reception went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The barman Ellie was truly passionate about his craft & made us some really special drinks. Breakfast was fabulous with great service & breakfast options. Rosa in the kitchen is a culinary star. Lucca was great & assisted us with our luggage on arrival & departure The rooms are well appointed , modern, clean & with very comfortable beds. The pool area is fabulous & gardens are stunningly beautiful & well manicured. This is a family business & the owners of this property are present every day, it’s evident the passion & pride they have for this stunning property.

Not what the advert suggests the place is like

- Clean bright new big room - really well equipped room, high quality bed and bathroom with a massive shower - Staff we’re friendly and helpful, especially the woman that prepares and serves breakfast who was particularly warm and friendly which is great early in the morning

- The staff had their extended family with 3-4 young kids permanently based in the bar and pool area all day - so it was more like a kids creshe, with small kids running around in nappies, than an adult hangout spot - We avoided the pool areas for this reason as it was full with staff, their family and their kids all day which is a shame as the place is sold as a beach club away from the beach -Breakfast location is in a cafe next to a busy road rather than on site - overall not good value and I wouldn’t stay here again

Our stay at MelRose Relais exceeded our expectations and we had a fabulous stay!

Friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful facilities, everything was impeccably clean.

My only complaint was there was a lack of surface area/storage in the room.

Very good

The hotel was far from Sorrento and in an Italian village. The manager and staff were amazing and the facility was situated in an isolated but beautiful spot. Ideal for those who do not want to see anyone on their vacation.

Superb

Private parking, free drink at arrival, nice pool area, clean room, breakfast was very good (omelet with vegetables was great!). Bus stop at 100m to go to Sorrento.

Pleasant stay, great local restaurants

It feels small and luxurious, the offer to book a restaurant for dinner is a must! And definitely choose the Massa Lubrense restaurant as it’s locally owner and they grow some of their own produce.

it’s in a very remote area which means you’re stuck without a car or taxi service to get around.

Intercom and phone line does not work

Nice amenities and it was clean

We arrived and the gate was closed, we couldn't get in, we pressed the intercom several times, called the phone number with no answer, our cab driver horned a few times and no one came to let us into the hotel. Our taxi driver took us to Sorrento central so we could at least drop our bags in thr luggage storage as we already missed our ferry to Positano. We then had to pay a taxi again to come back to the hotel after getting a call back an hour later, this taxi was arranged by the hotel and the driver dropped us off on the road 20 metres up a steep hill where we had to carry 2 large suitcases....not a nice start to our day, it was completely ruined from the beginning. The man at reception said the intercom doesn't work and the phone line...! Furthermore, the hotel booked a taxi to take us the port the next day and the taxi driver short changed me! In the end, all we got was an apology from the man at reception. He was sorry for the mistakes and that was all we had as compensation. Not the best

nice motel, clean, nice garden inside the place!

Pictures of the site are professionals but reality is far different. I booked this location outside Sorento for quiet but in fact it's located close to a busy street and we heard the noise from our room. Also the dog from neighbor 2 meters far from our window bark all night long. We arrived late in the night and it was hard to find the entrance( we used google maps) and the support from reception was really poor. We managed by ourself but it took us a lot of time. Take care, reception is closed after 20.30.... but we arrived earlier. Breakfast was far from " super breakfast" Room looks like a motel room - sliding door for bathroom. Third bed in the middle of the room. Entrance is through the terrace , lucky us we had the last room on our line, so nobody can watch in our room.

We would love to visit again.

The room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and the view was nice too. The pool is near the open-space area that you can have lunch and dinner prepared by a local lady, it was lovely. The staff are attentive and helpful with suggestions for the area.

The perfect getaway!

We loved EVERYTHING about this property! We have spent the last month travelling from the north to south of Italy and MelTose Relais was our favourite accommodation. The staff were wonderful. The property is impeccably clean, the views are gorgeous and the food is excellent. The property is run by the most beautiful family. We felt extremely relaxed and at home. We will be back!

Exceptional

We were made to feel exceptionally welcome. We visited with our 11 month old, the place was an oasis of calm and relaxation. The staff at the accommodation are brilliant, a huge thank you to Melania, Sabrina and the team. Breakfast is a particular highlight.
