It was an absolute pleasure staying there, the staff and owners were beyond welcoming, the decor and ambience was phenomenal, value for money for sure! You would not expect a 5 star hotel experience, and thats pretty much exactly what we got even though it was not a hotel.

Everything about the stay was good, I have nothing to complain about, thanks a lot for everything.

Andrew and Philip could not have done more to make our stay memorable. They even executed the most incredible pajama party for my birthday. Champagne and snacks in the lounge. Waterstone always feels like coming home. We'll definitely be back.

Another wonderful stay! Philip (the manager) makes you feel very welcome. Breakfasts are delicious! We stayed in the Helderberg room this time. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Will definitely stay there again

Breakfast is good for a 1 night stay, not longer.
They need more power support during loadshedding. Lights are on but nothing else can be used.

The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. I haven't slept that well in ages (also thanks to the black out curtains).
The manager was a bit impatient and snappy with another guest, who happened to be an elderly man. Something about a coffee machine not working. I really didn't like seeing that.

One of those rare places where everything is amazing. The hosts, the rooms, the art, the garden, the food...
We simply loved it.
Cold pool is the only drawback, but a very small one.

Excellent breakfast with a great selection and attentive service. Andrew was very friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating, went above and beyond to help us. Liz, Emma, Nicola (UAE)

We were upgraded to the False Bay Suite. So spacious and luxurious. Excellent service and super clean.
Very bias but I like streaky bacon

Great B&B. Wonderful hosts, both Andrew and Phillip
Clean and comfortable room and great breakfast
Maybe an extra portable light (Magneto) in the bedroom, for some extra light during load shedding.

Andrew and his staff are amazing hosts who set a very high benchmark for taking care of guests. Literally in the middle of the night, Andrew was following up with the local water services on an hourly basis to resolve a water problem due to a burst pipe in the area. He goes way above and beyond expectations to make sure his guests are comfy and taken care of.
Everything was 100%, there’s absolutely nothing that I didn’t like.
