It would be my last choice.

The staff was kind and helpful.

We saw some cockroaches. The room was Very noisy. We received some phone calls at night which annoy us while we were sleeping.

Good location but very run down hotel

The location really good. It was close enough to the town, so you could walk but far from the party so it was quiet.

The hotel was really run down, need serious renovations. The room smelled really bad, bed uncomfortable and toilet was broken. Breakfast was awful.

Great location, pool and lovely staff! Thanks U Rip!!

The resort is at the quiet end of phi phi which I loved, the pool is absolutely stunning and has views of the bay! My room was basic but good! I almost cancelled after seeing the bad reviews online but it was so fine!! I had an amazing view from my balcony! For price, pool and location your can’t go wrong! The room was big and clean, there’s also robes and they cleaned the room every day. The staff were super friendly!! They have someone meet you to pick up your luggage and take back to the resort (there’s no scooters on phi phi) And the breakfast was great, there’s so many reviews saying limited options but there was loads of stuff and same amount as everywhere else I’ve stayed in Thailand.

Shower head needed replacement and room smelt a little like moth balls but I’ll take that over not having bugs in my room, and I lit incense and it was fine. They need a coffee machine as they only offer the instant stuff so go elsewhere if you want a decent coffee. Otherwise everything was great. It’s not bougie by any means but you’re not in your room much in phi phi anyway so served it’s purpose!

Desayuno nefasto, no había nada de calidad, ni zumos, ni cafés ni pan. Mejor almorzar fuera que hay miles de lugares ricos y con buen café.

Great location but poor ventilation in rooms, staff difficult to communicate with

Rooms were so damp and everything smelt bad all the time. You can’t shower without literally soaking the bathroom in water. Damp smell all the time. Aircon is loud. Hallways are noisy and echo is loud. Staff were difficult to communicate with.

Nice staff but that’s it….

The pool was great. The staff were very friendly.

The breakfast was not worth it. We didn’t even eat there in the end. Only offers instant coffee. When we arrived the AC didn’t work and the shower didn’t drain correctly. The whole stay the shower didn’t drain which left an awful smell. We stayed in the ‘nicer’ rooms at on the hill (big hill to climb). Do not be fooled by the pictures. We nearly changed hotels. In the end we made it through but defo not worth the money in my opinion.

Overpriced

the location was the only plus in this situation

Value for money is terrible, definitely overpaid our stay. The rooms are in need of renovation, breakfast needs more options especially for the price you pay! Pool is warm and not very clean, the whole area is very dirty. not worth the amount of money we had to pay

ok not good or great

the beach in front is beautiful. staff is nice and responsive

steep hill to get to the apartment. the view was not Mountain View. just a construction and tree branches. the check in lobby was really old and outdated. the room is the same. old and basic. no mirror in the room. AC barely works, we were soaking thru the sheets. lighting in the room was also basic. normally all this would be fine if it was wasn’t for the fact that they charged so much for the room!

U rip resort review

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach location was good and very picturesque.

Our room was at the top of a hill/mountain. The food on display for breakfast was very limited. I'd expect a lot more choice for the money I paid. The shower had a sewerage smell when first turned on.

Very good

A nice hotel room away from the hustle and bustle of Tonsai Beach. The rooms are up a very steep hill, which was fine for us, but wouldn't be great if you didn't like a good walk home.

It was good stay.

Good little gem, nice pool area for a relaxing holiday.

Facilities were good, pool area clean and beach front. Everything is within walking distance. Standard rooms but kept clean everyday.

The hotel seems to be the meeting point of a lot of tours so can get busy. Beds were firm and the lobby area could do with decoration.

The rooms we very comfortable and staff were always helpful.

The smell from the drains in the toilet was always quite bad. Staff tried to remedy it with cleaning agents but it seems to be the nature of the sewerage treatment on Koh Phi Phi as a whole.

Beautiful location

perfect location, away from the madness and deep in the beauty. rooms are clean and have everything you need.

the pool bar doesn’t serve alcohol and the staff working on it are quite rude. we also has maintenance works on one side of the pool during our stay which meant there was nowhere to bathe for 2 days since the number of sunbeds around the pool are limited as it is.

Exceptional

The hotel is located right on the beach and is about 15 min walk from the pier and centre. Lovely, clean and spacious rooms with all the amenities you need. The staff were really friendly and assist you with any questions you have. Its perfect if you are a going as couple, a family a or even a group of friends - so versatile which is why we loved it!

Exceptional

Great breakfasts with the view to see and swimming pools outside. The staff is really polite- they even take your luggage after you reach the Koh phi phi Pier so you don't have to carry it by yourself. The hotel is about 10 min by walk from Pier and centre of Phi Phi. Nearby is entrance to road to viewpoints.

Horrible - terrible customer service - filthy facilities

I do NOT recommend this hotel But if you are willing to take the risk, here are few pros: Nice pool The room is spacious There is a beautiful beach right outside.

There are outside toilets near the pool, those are disgusting, filthy and smelly. Until you get your room, those are the toilet you are expected to use. The toilet in the room wasn't clean either. The beds are really not comfortable and were full of sand. The shower is nasty - the soap dispensers are all broken. There is no way to control the water temperature, the water were too hot. The room was so moist it was really yucky. Breakfast was poor. The staff were not kind and the whole customer service was BAD. The hotel is so far from the center as well.... To sum up - don't stay there.

We were really fed up, we were supposed to stay four nights and we shortened it to two.

The employees are nice

The whole room and the balcony have insects and chameleons, the whole bathroom has rust!! Accessories provided in the room such as a kettle and hand soap are all old and worn out. The smell in the bathroom of sewage and blockages.
