GREAT location, BBQ access was great, outdoor area was gorgeous, the sun rooms was great to sit in both morning and evening. Comfy beds and living area. Surroundings were great.
My feedback would be to ensure you have enough plates, utensils and glasses for the number of people staying. We didnt have enough of these things for 6 people

The location was as expected, rural with views.
The size of the house and the bedrooms was adequate and comfortable.
The entry to the driveway was not too difficult to find.
The decorations were simple and tasteful and relaxing.
The house was extremely clean and tidy.
The general administration number was very helpful.
We arrived in the early evening; it was very difficult to identify which building we were staying in as there were no signs in the driveway which serviced several houses. It was raining heavily. No one was home at the other residences. I had to ring the (helpful and friendly) general administration number and wait for them to contact someone to identify which house we were staying in. **A simple sign in the driveway would have solved that.
The ground was very wet and our car got bogged. We also got bogged and had to buy new shoes because we couldn't get our shoes dry - the site did make note of packing boots for such occasions. **This could be solved by distributing some gravel either as a driveway - or as a pathway from an indicated safer place to park.
The kitchen was small for a three-bedroom house suitable for families. The fridge was a 1/2 to 3/4 size so did not hold all of our groceries, and there was no pantry.
**easy to solve - get a bigger fridge, or a second fridge in the back sunroom, and put in some shelving for a pantry.
The bath was a tiny half bath, not suitable for adults to use. **this should be clearly marked.
There were two wonderful exterior rooms overlooking the rural setting, however the closed-up sunroom was very musty smelling and I couldn't sit in there at all due to mould allergies and asthma. The rest of the house was very clean and tidy with no mould or musty smells.
**keeping the sunroom opened and washing all of the musty fabrics in the sunroom would help somewhat. Wiping things down with clove oil and getting an air purifier might also help things.
The back exit was not usable due to the muddy ground so we couldn't use the BBQ, visit the horses, or walk the grounds.
**The back door needs some sort of decking or concreting so you can use the BBQ & there were sprinklers automatically set despite the heavy rainfalls.
**We left two large umbrellas but they were not kept as promised, so we never got them back.

BBQ very dirty and almost unuseable - No storage in first bedroom - Poor directions stated as go to end of driveway when in fact it was right by the gate. Cooker was old and poor in functionality over was terrible.

Clean and comfy little accommodation in superb location - beautiful views in the evening and morning. Kitchen had essentials like salt/pepper etc.
Wouldn’t have bothered mentioning that the horses aren’t Clydesdales if they were better looked after - if you are using animals in the marketing of your property it would be an idea to make sure they aren’t showing visible health problems. Gelding had horrific feet, well over due farrier. Mare was lame at the walk with a swollen left fore knee, and also had a bleeding wound on her right hip. As an off duty vet, I didn’t find it particularly pleasant to see these things. Please ensure these horses receive the care they deserve :)
Only other issue was I found Weekenda tedious to deal with - I don’t need multiple emails/texts per day. A booking confirmation and how to get the keys is all that is required!

The accomodation is self-catering so we took our own food. The location is very convenient but you do require a car for transport to get to the various wine estates etc. The house is very private and quiet with netflix, wi-fi and lovely hot water. We loved sitting around the fire pit at sunset and the horses are very friendly. It was really good to have our dog with us and she had a lovely time.
The BBQ wasn't very clean and there was nothing with which to clean it with. I also found the kitchen was stocked very minimally. It would have been handy to have more dishwashing liquid and a salad bowl.

The only thing was the rain, very muddy

Clean tidy and comfortable place in the bush to stay

A handy location to explore the Hunter Valley from.
I was disappointed that the bath was really only a large tub not a full sized bath. I couldn't tell this from the photo on the site. More rubbish bags needed. No hangers in the wardrobes.
