The Hostel like a Nest. Perfect for a deep sleep

The Sleep is the Best!!!! You really feel that you Rest. Is quiet, is clean, is intimate, the matrice is good. You are in the center, but in a quiet place, because the small restaurant under close early. The stuff is very very very helpful and I appreciate this kindness and helpfulness a lot. I really recommend. Is my first hostel experience and I am content. 🤗🫶🙏

Is not that I don't like, I accepted that this is the place. I would like to have a garden and more space to stay outside. The place has a roof mini small terrace, very small. And also the kitchen is small and you canot cook, but for me it was good, I didn't want to cook. That's it.

La independencia de las camas, cada una con su blackout, luz individual, espacio para guardar cosas personales. La ubicación es ideal, el personal muy atento, la terraza muy agradable para relajarse y hacer yoga.

Kleines smartes Hostel in einer top Lage

Zentrale Lage inmitten der Altstadt Gässchen. Vergleichsweise kleinesHostel, dafür ruhiger was ich persönlich sehr schätze. Super simple und sehr nette Kommunikation mit dem Hostel Besitzer. Komme immer wieder gerne ins GiG.

Nette Gesellschaft und Entspannung.

Sehr nette und kommunikative Leute. Hauptsächlich Deutsche. Moderne Schlafräume. Zugang mit Zahlencode an der Türe und Zahlenschloss im Zimmer. Kein Herauskramen von Karte oder Schlüssel. Gute Lage am Meer und an belebten Orten. Zwei Strände mit hohen und mit niedrigen Wellen in der Nähe. Personal hat uns gute Surfschule weiterempfohlen. Tolles Bad und Dusche.

Man muss schon sportlich sein um an die oberen Betten zu kommen. Personal war nur bei unserer Ankunft anzutreffen. Man hat sich untereinander geholfen.

I loved the concept of bunked capsule beds and really appreciate the host (Gonzalo), super nice person, very friendly and sharing a lot of useful information about Ericeira. The location is also great.

I really enjoyed my stay, though if I have to mention something maybe was the lack of an extended shared common indoor area (there is a kitchenette though the space is quite small in there), anyway it's very well compensated by an extremely nice terrace on the rooftop where people can chill :)

Great hostel for solo travelers looking for peaceful stay near the sea

The hostel is close to city centre and the beach.

I stumbled when going down the stairs due to the unevenness of the floor at the entrance and hurt my knee quite badly.

Good for sleeping, but doesn’t have the feeling I want when i go to a hostel.

Super welcoming hostel experience!

Gonçalo is super welcoming, friendly and helpful. He made sure we were booked onto surf lessons (at a very reasonable price) and was on hand to answer any questions and make recommendations. Hostel itself was clean and modern and was in a great location.

a great place and very helpful staff. booked a surfiny lesson for me and gave great suggestions. the beds were also the most luxorious ones I’ve seen in a hostel.

It would have been nice if I could have cooked in the kitchen, but there was only a microwave.

Nice stay.

Great location and nice small facilities. Private dorm beds. Not a social hostel. Great cafe and ice cream shop downstairs.

My only complaint is the cheap pillow. I would recommend them to buy better ones and charge 1€ more if needed.

Super studio room at GiG Hostel

Great location with several beaches bars, restaurants and shops near by. Comfortable room with all the convenience needed to dine in.

a TV or radio would have been nice but actually may have spoiled the experience of enjoying the sunsets. a sofa would have been nice.

Highly recommended for solo travelers to meet others

The hostel is great! I felt at home from the time I arrived and as a solo traveler it was very easy to meet people. And everyone was really nice. I loved the little kitchen, bathroom facilities and the dorm with bunkbeds and the blinds that lowered for privacy and confort.

As it is a capsule hostel, it is small and there is no central living room area, so just putting this down so that people are aware. There is, however, a rooftop terrace and many nice cafés and beach to lounge on.

Cozy central place perfect for a short stay.

The hostel is very central and has a nice terrace. The beds are comfortable and well thought through, with shelves and outlets to charge your phone. The lockers under the bed are big enough to keep the necessary things.

The strange policy of taking the shoes off at the entrance. We came with no indoor shoes and it wasn't super comfortable to walk barefoot, especially after the shower.

we had a very nice stay and would love to come back!

very tidy and clean, super location, comfy bed, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen, fast internet, perfect for remote working

only minor things - since it‘s under the roof, some things are just a bit small (windows, bathroom, stairs) therefore i wouldn‘t recommend it for surfers who bring their own gear

Great time in a beautiful hostel

The host is very friendly and supportive. Be it surfing lessons, pointing out good locations to eat/surf etc... Also the atmosphere is chill and the interior is clean and quite new. I would definitely go there again!

perfect small and cozy apartment

we loved the little apartment with the view over the town till the ocean. In the apartment we had everything we needed and everything was clean. The stuff was also every friendly and helpful.

Cosy good sleep warm lovely.

Really cosy and not a crowded hostel. Everything was very clear, lovely mattress also :) The host was also very nice. I recommend without doubt.
