Es war gut, aber die Brotauswahl ließ Wünsche offen, ebenso das Angebot an Obst und Müsli.
Ausstattung des Badezimmers:Glatte Wanne zum Duschen ohne Haltegriff

Very nice place: well located, quiet, a lot of charm. The owner and the personnel are very friendly and give good advices.
Low water flow in the shower. But this doesn't matter compared to the charm offered by the place.

and room is spacious and the poor is nice
they made a mistake and over charged us 20 euros for something we did not consume

quiet place in chianty countryside in old villa
large, clean swimming pool with view
4.5
Rooms in the upper part are amazing, extremely spacious with beautiful old decor and a breath taking view of the forests and the vineyards.
The lower rooms where our daughters slept are less impressive but open up directly to the swimming pool overseeing the same view.
As an early morning person I could not get any coffee before 8:00 AM.
Signs of slight neglect are apparent in some parts of the villa.
Water pressure in the bath is a bit low.

A beautiful and calm place and the breakfast was very good.
I would have loved if there had been a restaurant but there were many nice retaurants around. The owners gave good recommendations. It was possible though to get a light and cold dish for lunch.

beautiful property in the countryside surrounded by woodland and grape fields. an absolute joy to arrive at this villa and immediately feel how serene it is - far better than photos can describe.
bathroom in the rooms of the upstairs house are a bit vintage - pretty, but very slippery bathtub shower. much preferred the lower room last year with view of the fields and renovated bathrooms.

we were looking for something special to visit Toscana by car in Chianti region . This Villa is one of the ebst authenticall we have seen . Building of 18th centuiry in the top of the hill with incredible view around hiils . Italian hospitality . Quite and relaxing place . Around is a lot of wineries and tartorrie. Also it is close to drive to small places like Buoncionvento or Montalcino or even to Perigia
If i have another chance i would return definitely
Lunch pre party drink from 5 yo 7 pm is strongly recomened

Beautiful villa and ideal location.
Calm and absolutely adapted for people looking for calm and peace in beautiful surroundings.
A small hic up for breakfast over the weekend but the owner was really willing to help and make sure our stay remained enjoyable.

beautiful house and facilities
air conditioning was not working. room was very hot and it was difficult to sleep in those conditions
2.0
Beautiful historical property with very nice swimming pool area.
But with very old amenities (Air contionning was not working and there were no fan/ventilators so it was very very hot in the rooms, flush of toilet was sometimes leaking).
The price is for a room for 2 people with breakfast but if you are solo traveller the price for breakfast is same than for 2.

The Villa is positioned in the most beautiful quiet surrounding but still very close to city’s like Siena. The woman who owns the place is a very nice host who wasn’t short of recommendations and help. The Villa has SO much Charme and it really makes you feel like living in old Italy. View from pool is amazing the waiter at pool was superb and super friendly. Only the one breakfast lady could work a little on her attitude and her coffee skills - but that is really all we can say. We would 100% come again and totally recommend!
5.0
The history, setting and charm. The staff were exceptionally friendly. This was my third stay at this hotel.
The mattress was a little too firm.
3.5
The pool was wonderful and the breakfast was very good. You must ensure that that the room you are booking is in the main building to benefit from the beautiful views. We had initially booked the apartment which (unknown to us) was at the back without views and very dilapidated. Fortunately we were able to change rooms to be at the front of the main house overlooking the valley.
The air conditioners need an update or service.

Warm and friendly staff beautiful setting pool was lovely
The hotel has been unable to staff the rest since it closed fir covid and has found it impossible to get staff, this is by no means a criticism but it would have been lovely to eat in such a beautiful setting

The property is in an extremely beautiful, very tranquil, location close to Castellina in Chianti - a pretty town with an interesting museum and nice restaurants. The villa itself is architecturally beautiful, the grounds are immaculately kept and the pool is fantastic (with a great view over the wooded hills and vineyards). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The buffet continental breakfast of fruits, meats, cheese, pastries and coffee was great.

Charming villa in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The pool is sparkling and refreshing on a hot day. The staff are attentive. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are comfortable. An absolute pleasure to stay here.
You really need a car here. We used a taxi for a few trips but it is not easy to organise. Walking to and from town on a hot day is quite strenuous, and walking back in the dark after dinner along a dirt road through a wooded area is not for everyone.
That said, this isn’t something I ‘disliked’ about Villa Casalecchi but just something to bear in mind when you’re planning your stay here - which you should, it’s very beautiful.

Exceeded expectations. Beautiful villa in the Tuscan countryside but still a walk away from a lovely village with a great selection of restaurants. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The pool was superb. The grounds were fabulous (the smell of lavender was gorgeous). The breakfast was great - they provided a delicious variety of foods and catered for my dietary needs (gluten and dairy free) which was really appreciated. The staff (especially Cedric) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Couldn’t fault it - was the perfect stay

Beautiful peaceful location, wonderful garden and pool, delicious breakfast. Gorgeous garden room, very spacious. Old world charm. There were deer in the woods, we could see them from our outside sitting area. Lovely friendly owners and staff.
The electrics were a bit old.

The Ville is 2 km from Castellina in a beautiful wooded setting. The 2 lions at the gate welcomed us. Costanza and Fred are delightful hosts and the Ville is simply amazing. Very clean, welcoming, and a delicious breakfast.

The place is a fabulous jewelry box in Toscany. It is a perfect place to get away from work and every day. The hotel is run and managed by owners who try to exceed your expectations. Fred, one of the owners, runs the place with a full heart and he is always a good company with amazing stories for great local wines. The owners are very flexible, they really try to do their best to make your stay pleasant.
I can't name a thing besides that the holiday has ended.

General eksperiance, beatiful view, quiet enviromente, swimmig pool ang great service
Only breakfast available, Villa located in the Forest 1km from the Village a lot of dust on the Road, Air condition did not work but it was not a big problem
3.5
The garden and the villa grounds were very nice, the lavender in the garden in front of our room door was smelling so intensive, that you can feel in even in the room itself. Felt like wellness. In this villa you are very close to nature - you experience great views on the olive trees and the hills, you can take a walk through the garden or enjoy the piece and quiet on your terrace. Our room was clean, bathroom renovated and clean as well. Breakfast was fine, you could order extras if needed like scrambled egg, ham or chees etc. (but it costs extra). Only 2 km away in the next village you can find a lot of restaurants from budget to sofisticated. Siena is only 30 min car drive away and there you can select any restaurant you want, go shopping or do cultural stuff. A lot parking space in available in front of the villa.
Probably I would expect to get a little bit more for the price. Our room was quite small. Because the villa is an older building and you have a door going directly to the outdoor space you need to be prepared for visitors like bigger insects you can meet in the room or in the bathroom. Probably one proposal I would make to the hosts is to install other window shed holders, as the once which are available don't ensure the window sheds stay open. It was very windy during our stay and we had to use our terrace chairs to keep the sheds open. I would not expect any breakfast extras to be included into the price already payed for breakfast. It was ok to order this extra, but I wound't expect to pay for this extra. It would be great to have some more sun loungers at the pool - one day there were no free sun loungers available, so had to skip the pool time.
