Friendly staff, great location, rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Absolutely recommended.
The architecture put me off a bit, tbh. Tignes has great modernist architecture from the 1950s to the 1970s in the neighborhood, but this building has been modified to give it what they call locally the "fake-chalet" look, a non-authentic style which in my view is a bit too Disney land. That's a bit of a pity, cause the building had a very authentic style for decades. Other than that, it's a great hotel though and recommended

Location
Restaurant downstairs l'escale blanche.
very pleasant and friendly Welcome at late arrival by the barman just before closing reception
Breadkfat perosnal unfriendly and arrogant. Took it only once.
BTW direct booing would have been 3€ cheaper with breakfast included!
We left one day earlier as there were renovation works on a facade. Scafolds mounted at 6:00 early morning with a crane without notice nor excuse.

Location, location, location - outstanding location both the resort itself Tignes les Lac and the hotels location right in the centre of the resort. lovely staff, amazing restaurant underneath hotel. hotel was clean and spa section was high quality (although one hot tub wasn’t working when we were there). pool table and quiet bar area good for relaxing as a group
room was quite basic, small and a little tired. we had three people in one room and there was a sofa bed that would take a fourth. I think four people would be uncomfortable but when on a skiing holiday we don’t spend much time in the room so depends on what’s important. Price was high I thought… but no different to other hotels in high altitude resorts. breakfast selection was limited but nice nonetheless.

The view is amazing. Possibly the best view in Tignes.
1) The booking said that the room was front mountain view and price was same for 1 or 2 people. When I checked in, they gave me a tiny/single room somewhere in the back. 3 people can barely stand there. It seemed to be staff accommodation. the story goes on….just horrible…2. Wifi is just bad. It didn’t work for most of the trip. 3. hallways have a permanent smell. All are total deal breaker.
