Lovely host and superb facilities for a bed and breakfast
My only gripe was you could hear some road traffic noise on a night

Great location for our sons’ charity cycle ride. Very friendly hosts who welcomed the cyclists with extra food. Very useful to be able to use kitchen to prepare food too.
6.0
Excellent bedroom facilities. Access to kitchen and living room space. Friendly owners.
Breakfast basic but adequate, however croissants and choc bread were tasteless.
Owner not present on arrival.

Lovely welcome and efficient security and parking. DIY kitchen, dining room and lounge were lovely, and access to a hot tub and outside sitting out area was enticing. Nice to be able to make oneself a late night cuppa.
Small ground floor double bedroom had nice little touches, handy plug points, hairdryer and mirror, hooks and some storage, heated towel rail for drying /warming towels in the bathroom, ready hot water with overhead rainshower as well as side spray in shower.
Shower cubicle was very small and although I'm a slim size 12 I found it tight - with some sharp corners on the shower unit and handles.
Generous help-yourself breakfast laid out but it was pre-packaged sugary carbs only - only healthy unprocessed option was an apple
Noisy road directly outside the window, with lorries from the early hours.

Beds uncomfortable, didn’t like the pillows

We had a really comfortable, relaxing one night stopover to break our journey on our way home from the south. The Little Lodge is a lovely, clean house furnished with such care and attention to detail it is a real pleasure to stay there. There is a well equipped kitchen, dining room and sitting room, also a very inviting outdoor area complete with a jacuzzi. I should imagine a group of friends or a family would have a wonderful break here.
We helped ourselves to a very substantial light breakfast before leaving, everything you could have needed was provided. The owners are very welcoming and friendly.

Lovely people and a very relaxed environment. Loved being able to make our own tea and it was like a real home from home.
Beds were a wee bit uncomfortable

Our continental breakfast was lovely with plenty of variety to choose from. We had the place to ourselves so it was lovely and quiet. We didn't actually meet our hosts but spoke on the phone, the key code entry process was very easy and convenient both for us and for them.
If I was having to clean up after guests, I would have a smaller tap for the basin. It was quite difficult to keep the water from spilling onto the floor when using it.

I didn’t think it was really a b&b more like an Airbnb. The property and fixtures are a little dated.

Friendliness of the host , Fabulous room decor excellent, all facilities were great.
Nothing about the stay just a little confusing to find as drove past it at first , but didn't affect our stay.

Facilities were great. The breakfast was large, full English and superb. the location was in a small village and not far from the M1.
Definitely not a complaint, but as a senior I would have preferred a chair in the room, rather than sitting on the bed. That said there was a very comfortable lounge and outside seating area.
