Oak Tree Retreat is a wonderful rustic home located in the mountain town of Oakhurst! 15 miles to the south gate of Yosemite & 5 miles to Bass Lake! Open concept living, dining and kitchen area are great for families to gather! Wood beam ceiling for that rustic feel with an amazing native rock fireplace.

Close to grocery stores, restaurants & shopping. Heating/AC! Lot's of decking with outside dining. Fantastic side patio with a propane BBQ! Flat screen TV in the living room and all other bedrooms. Vaulted beamed ceiling & comfy furniture in the living room with a native rock fireplace! Nice size kitchen with lot's of dinnerware, pots and pans where 2 or 3 people can easily fit to prepare meals. You will feel right at home the minute you walk in!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious and more than accommodated four adults, one child and an infant. It was also very well stocked with games (our daughter loved playing the giant connect 4 game), pillows, towels, appliances (we are coffee lovers and appreciated having the options of drip coffee, k cups and French press style coffee) and they had snacks and zip lock bags on hand. Perfect place for anyone particularly if traveling with kids. We would stay here again. Also very easy drive to Yosemite South Gate or to enjoy some fun at Bass Lake.

Gina’s place was above & beyond our expectations! She deserves a 10! The whole house, outdoor area, beds, pillows, washer/ dryer, and amenities, were amazing! We felt like we were coming home at the end of our day adventures. We enjoyed reading your Welcome book and the recommendations of your other guests. We highly recommend this home and would definitely come back if & when we return to California!

My mom, sister and I stayed here for a trip to Yosemite. Everything was just like the pictures and it was clean and had plenty of space for us. It is super close to all the ammenities in Oakhurst and an easy drive to the South Gate at Yosemite. There is a private patio for coffee in the AM that was perfect. We would definitely recommend this VRBO!

We used this property for our trip to Yosimite. It is a very nice property with enough space for our entire family. The contact with the owner was good with quick responses. The house was well stocked and fulfilled all our needs. The drive up to Yosimite was good with a 30-45 minute delay at the entrance. We recommend this property if you want a nice rental with plenty of space.

This property so far exceeded our expectations. The new owners have made many improvements and added so many special touches to give their guests an enjoyable and comfortable experience. We were blown away by the lovely decor, the quality of all the equipment provided (and believe me they thought of every thing). We spent 6 nights and didn’t want to leave. Having this wonderful of a place to stay added greatly to our enjoyment of Yosemite, Kings Canyon a Sequoia National Parks.

LOVED this place! Perfectly accommodating for our large family (6 adults, 2 teens, 1 pre-schooler). Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and had plenty of space in the living room and dining areas to gather together. Made almost all of our meals in the well-appointed kitchen. Great outdoor areas to relax, grill, and eat.
Great location! Would be hard to find anywhere else closer. Only a 20-minute drive to the Yosemite entrance gates! We left at 6:30am every morning and were able to avoid the traffic. Heads up- the Yosemite Valley is anther hour+ away after you get in the park so pack your snacks.

Oak Tree exceeded expectations. Although in a neighborhood setting it was quiet. Saw 2 deer in the yard. Kitchen had everything you might need. Snacks and asst. k-cups provided. Shampoo/cond., lotion provided. Plenty of towels. Being tech challenged we struggled with tvs and thermostat. All in all, a great place to stay if you're heading to Yosemite.

Clean, quiet, comfortable beds. Heating was a little uneven, and the kitchen pans, cutlery, and glasses could use a refresh, but 1st world problems. It was well priced for the size. It is nice to sit out on the deck and eat dinner outside as the sun sets behind the mountains.

Had such a great stay with family here! The house layout is spacious. Loved the two outdoor areas.
Thought the connecting rooms were a little weird but it worked. One room you have to go through another room to enter it.

This property was great for us- roomy, cute, had nice outdoor spaces. Lots of fun quirky decorations. Beds were comfortable, great room and couch for movie time! Not spotless,l and had a little more "lived in" feel than some rentals we've visited, but definitely plenty clean for us.

We had a great time here celebrating my sister’s bachelorette weekend! Super close to fund hikes and a comfortable house. Our only “complaint” (if you can even call it that), is that the listing said there was a hot tub but there isn’t. Overall we loved staying here!

It was 4 bedrooms but one of them you had to walk through another bedroom to get to it.

All-around terrific stay! Well-stocked home and comfortable stay for our family of 5 (including 3 sons aged 17-22). Outdoor patio with water feature is relaxing after park days. Convenient to Oakhurst but has secluded feel. Management is excellent.

We stayed in Oakhurst to spend 3 days in Yosemite. It worked great, convenient and we packed lunches and had breakfast daily and then one evening cooked there and had grill that worked great. Beds were comfortable, well stocked with all cooking needs.
