The house was located in a beautiful area of Bolton landing. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room for all our guest.
Few items to consider:
- Beautiful decks, a lot of stairs. From and to the boat dock
- Single boat slip might be an issue unless you have a 16+ passenger boat.

Amazing house, plenty of room with great location on the lake. Very close to town. Owners were very accommodating. Will definitely go again.

Very friendly and helpful family that rented the house to us. Great stay. The master bedroom doesn’t have shades so in the early morning it is really bright. Other than that..perfect

Nice location on water but house was dated and dirty. Other deficiencies were: Dryer was broke, dirty bathrooms, towels were like rags, holes in some bedding, dirty dishes & pots upon arrival, both coffee pots were broke, clothes left by someone in bathroom & bedroom. It was a little weird that guy in house when we arrived said he would be back to finish his laundry. I am still waiting for our security deposit to be returned 2 weeks after trip.

Situated in a private setting on Lake George, this house has beautiful wood and stone architectural features, numerous decks with pristine views and plenty of living space. We enjoyed the nearby private beach and large outdoor gas grill. The main deck is nicely furnished for dining and lounging.
There’s a flat screen smart TV in the great room and one in the bunk room, and the WiFi works well. New sets of washing machines and dryers are located in the upstairs master bath and the basement.
Overall, the photos provide an accurate depiction of the house and surrounding property, but it might have been helpful if we’d known the following:
--The main deck does not have screens between the balcony rails as shown in a couple of the photos. The screen has been removed—and it’s a long way to the bottom—so the deck is not safe for young children.
--The house has two large master bedrooms with King beds and private bathrooms. One is upstairs, and the other is downstairs, along with two smaller bedrooms (with queen beds) and a “bunk room.” The bunk room is most likely a recreation room that was converted into another bedroom to accommodate more renters. It has four sets of bunkbeds, but lacks privacy, because there are no doors on its large entryway. It shares a bathroom with the two queen bedrooms, so (excluding the master bedroom) if all downstairs beds are occupied, 10 - 12 people share one bathroom. The bathroom has a hot tub, a private toilet, shower and granite vanity with double sinks, but there is only one hook for a towel. (There is another half bath upstairs.)
--All bedrooms face east, and the only rooms with window treatments (vertical blinds) are the two queen bedrooms.
--The home is showing signs of neglect and wear that we did not expect to see for the price per night: stains on the carpet; dirty windows, a shower with moldy grout. Most of the beds and bedding are okay, but many of the pillows are yellow, and nearly all of the bath and kitchen towels need to be replaced. (The towels in the hot tub bathroom are extremely thin and frayed.)
-- The kitchen pantry and cabinets need decluttering, and the refrigerator and ovens need cleaning. The coffee pot—a Mr. Coffee unit—didn’t work. The refrigerator is a Sub Zero, but the icemaker is broken. (The owner was kind enough to supply us with a bag of ice.)
--There is a cleaning fee, so we were surprised to learn that we were expected to wash and dry the sheets and towels.

pre arrival communication clear, timely, concise. Met owner Joe right on time at 5pm, super nice guy who fully and quickly explained the functions of the oven, hot tub, dock, internet, everything. If you missed anything, there’s a great professional looking notebook with all the details. The house is beautiful, all 10 of our guests enjoyed the view, two clothes washing machines/dryers, two dishwashers, massive refrigerator, plus two beverage refrigerators. Dock was solid, clean, ez to get boat into with excellent whips to keep boat away from dock during waves. All beds very comfortable, kids room huge and fun. Top shelf stay! We will be back!

Was an absolute treasure, 5 families with plenty of room for all. Whether we were at the beach, on the dock or on the deck we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Just checked out and we already miss it!

Really enjoyed our stay here. House is very cool with tons of deck space to hang outside. Would recommend to any large group looking for a spot on Lake George.
