Ein Schloss, 300 Jahre alt, an dem die letzten 100 Jahre nichts mehr getan wurde.
Aber selbst das hat er noch einen gewissen Charm. Zumindest von außen.

gorgeous facade of the chateau and the grounds were very relaxing
locked room for storing my bicycle safely overnight

the rooms are very large - the chateau resonates an has been atmosphere
breakfast was very basic

This is an old dated chateau full of character with enormous rooms.
A bit tired. Our room had a bath with a short shower so you couldn’t stand to have a shower.
Breakfast was OK but not much choice. Other meals had to be taken out.

The breakfast was ok
The refrigerator wasn't clean there was still food from the person who was there previously. I had to call them twice with my phone (cause the phone wasn't provided with the reception number). 1st time for the balcony window which was broken and impossible to close. And the 2sd because there wasn't hot water. There is no lift which is very annoying for the luggage..

lovely little castle in the middle of a green park. large and very comfortable rooms and bathroom. good value for money. feel like a duke! :-) possibility to lock up your bicycles.
rooms/bathrooms would benefit from renovation. breakfast was a bit poor and only pre-packed stuff is served from a buffet which causes loads of plastic waste…

The outside of the building is very beautiful
The inside of the building is very dilapidated, stairs, walls and shower were broken. The room was not clean, there were many cobwebs, rodent poison behind the furniture and the mini fridge had mold.
The breakfast area was dirty with dust and cobwebs.
During our stay, the wi-fi never worked.

A beautiful building to look at.
Quite rundown and any work that has been done was obviously by an amateur, Dick Strawbridge...help
Shower didn't work, huge bath took over 30mins to fill.

Its a freaking CASTLE!!! YOU CAN SLEEP IN A CASTLE!!!!

Breakfast a bit basic (Self-service), but ok; no problem. Good enough
Enormous room in a tower of the castle; 100 sqm, like an apartment.
Nothing

castle architecture
The waiter was rude at breakfast in an aggressive manner. Shouted for the fact that we took the wrong table. Moreover, no one indicated at which table you can sit and which table has already been reserved.
The room smells awful. We opened the windows to breathe, and a cat from the street came to our room to live. There was deffected shower in the bathroom, it was impossible to wash in standing position. The noise of the road is heard in the castle, also in the room. The castle is very deserted.

- check-in was very smooth and easy. It would of been nice to be given some good restaurants or walks close by.
- We were given two single beds (my mistake on booking) but the beds had rollers and wouldn't stay together which was disappointing
- there was no shower only a bath.
- breakfast was good

The Chateau is a historical building with lots of athmosphere.
Opening the front door needs some force.
