Fabulous hotel, fabulous people, fabulous location!

Breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast managers were welcoming and efficient. We loved the outdoor seating at the hotel entrance which is where we met and socialized with couples from different countries that were so interesting. We wouldn't have met them if the entrance tables and bar were in a different location.

I missed having a shower curtain. I was sad I got so much water on the floor after a shower and had to use all the towels to clean up the water. Maybe that's just an American thing?

Nice hotel for a budget

The hotel is a good choice for budget! Located next to the train station where you can take the train for both city center of Sorrento and Napoli. It has a lot of restaurants and supermarket very close. Also you can easily go by scooter to positano and other beaches around. The rooms are clean an exactly as in photos. The breakfast is good. Also quite neighborhood. We had a nice stay and did not cost a fortune! I recommend it.

The swimming pool had a lot of chlorine! The breakfast area can be cleaner!

Handy location close to the train station , the shower was very small but there was also hot water and the room had fresh towels daily and room cleaned daily also.

The walls are very thin and could hear everything from rooms above and below. The breakfast was basic also.

Our room let the hotel down. Shower cubicle needs renewing. Toilet seat was broken. Air con old and very noisy. Not worth four stars.

The hotel was beautiful inside ' the staff were fabulous and the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis .couldn't fault it . Situated in a good place thay made it easy to get to where we needed to get .

I wish I had stayed longer!

Firstly, the hotel upgraded me from a single bed to a double. I'm not sure why, but I was pleasantly surprised and incredibly happy with it. Who wouldn't?! The room was beautiful, the view was over the train track, but it was a beautiful view. It was actually really nice to see the train pass through the landscape admiring the wonders that Sant Agnello had to offer. The hotel staff were happy and went out of their way on many occasions to not only myself but other guests I knew that stayed at the hotel. One of which was opening the bar after hours for us to have another drink after my best friends wedding! The day before my departure, I asked if I could take a couple yoghurt pots for my journey to the airport as I would not be able to make the start of breakfast. The staff had zero problem with this and had yogurt pots, croissants, fruit and tea ready and waiting. I can not speak highly enough of this hotel and I most definitely will return to it the next time I come! I wish I could have stayed longer!

Cleanlyness was poor.Patio had cig dimps and food debris when we arrived,still like that 2 days later,i did not get cleaned untill our 3rd day

Very overpriced, more like 2 stars then 4

The location is ok, you arrive fast in Sorrento with bus or with train. Some of the staff were friendly. Air conditioning works well and keeps the room cool. Parking is free and out of the street. Beds and pillows were confotable, but would not fit someone who is higher then 1.70.

Definitely not a 4 star property, it is more of a 2 stars hotel. The shower could barely fit a small size person, and it doesn’t have a moving head, it is just water pouring over you. In the room there are only 2 towels, all very old. In the first day the lady who was also in the reception came in our room all of a sudden while we were there, without knocking, to check that everything is ok - we were a bit schocked by this. At night we could hear the neighbours snoring. The breakfast area is very dirty, the tables are not cleaned between the different guests and the offer is very poor. They had 10 days expired yoghurts and the staff there speaks no English, so they didn’t even understand when we pointed that to them. After this experience we had to eat breakfast everyday somewhere else, even though we paid for it.

location wasn’t bad. Two minutes by train and your at sorrento. but if I have any advice for people looking to stay outside of sorrento, your better off just booking accommodation there as it’s more lively.

The photos do not match what you see on real life. There is very little staff about, made it difficult to get drinks etc. The pool wasn’t cleaned in the three days we were here. cleanliness all round was not the best. staff were not very polite. The night porter was the only man who was polite and actually had some manners.

It’s a 3 star hotel but good value for Sorrento.

Nice if small pool area. It was really near the Station, albeit the train service in that part of Italy is terrible.

Its simply not a 4 star hotel, well not by UK standards. Credit too the owner, when I complained about the first room (a tiny single room and I mean tiny) he gave me a new room. the air con didn’t work properly but luckily I had my own. small fan. nothing can be done without the owners say so making reception redundant unless he’s on as nothing could he signed off so had to hang around till 2pm on day 2 to change rooms even though it had been agreed the night before. The Hotel is a UK 3 and for the area is good value so if you go expecting that you’ll be fine.

Very good

Nice, clean and calm hotel with a very nice pool area and a very friendly and helpful staff. St. Agnello area is not so crowded but the location is great: 2 minutes walk to train and 15 minutes to the Sorrento center. We had a great time with friends there!

Would not recommend...

Some staff members were very nice, and they let us have a late check-out, as one of us had food poisoning the day we left.

Overall we were disappointed with Hotel Club. Firstly, the photos on booking.com were not representative of the property. Our room smelled of mould and there were visible signs of mould on the ceiling. The air conditioner did not work well. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The walls were very thin, and we could hear snoring all night from the room next to us. To top it all off, on our last night we came back to our room and part of the ceiling in our room collapsed due to condensation build up. They eventually gave us another room, however multiple items of clothes were stained as they were directly under the collapsed ceiling. We requested I refund, however they stated that transferring us to another room was enough compensation...

I highly suggest staying here

I will be staying here again as a holiday destination when I return. I did not get to enjoy the facilities as much as I wanted to as I was attending a family wedding and helping with preparations but most certainly will be enjoying the poolside and rooftop next time as it looked fantastic and private. Thank you very much for my stay
