Convenient location, walking distance to restaurants, supermarket, transport. Hotel was quiet. Check- in was easy and efficient.
The lack of a person at reception makes checking in very impersonal
6.0 / 10.0
good location, close to everything
the rooms smelt very musty like they hadn’t had any real air circulated through them for a while, and it looked a bit outdated. none of the restaurants within the hotel appeared open either
7.0 / 10.0
close to most places
a bit “soulless” - utilitarian. the reception staff standing next to bank of screens rather than having a comfortable professional desk - I felt tired for them.

No couch. Did not need two large beds lounge better

Self check in, aircon was great and bed comfortable
Rooms are abit out dated

Great location! Just a short walk to the Aqua park without the higher price tag for accommodation and the tour bus would pickup at the door. Right in the City Centre so easy walk to many restaurants, pubs and clubs.
With the weather being really warm all year round and the need\want to swim, the pool was a little on the small side, but it did do the job in cooling off, it's just not designed for kids to play around in. There was also a couple that argued all night in the foyer where our room was located, so that was a little disappointing as we really needed our sleep that particular night, but it only occurred one night and I would assume that this is not a common occurrence.
4.0 / 10.0
Proximity to coast and shops
Lack of parking and staff knowledge of city and secure parking available also hard to understand non Aussie staff members. Cleaning of bathroom and air conditioning system extremely poor also room temp was set way too low to greet a guest
7.0 / 10.0
Staff very helpful in upgrading us because of 1st room, they were pilot and friendly.
No Restaurants or bars on site
1st room was very dark window looked out to a wall
7.0 / 10.0
location to Mitchell st and waterfront precinct
restaurant wasn’t open, building decor showing age and wear n tear. no mini bar and front desk not manned 24/7 - awkward when you arrive on a 2am flight which appears to be very common in Darwin
10.0 / 10.0
Comfort, quiet and peace.
9.0 / 10.0
The fact that we were central to everything.
Would have been better to have breakfast at the hotel itself. Though Salvator was very good, there needs to be more choices to the breakfast menu.
A big breakfast is not everyone’s cup of tea.

Secruity. It is the most secure building in the Darwin CBD. Staff were approachable when needed.
There was nothing I did not like. Can't fault Rydges at all.

Excellent customer service by all staff. Very friendly and professional. Helpful checking in. Helpful checking out. Will definitely come back and stay for longer next time.😊
8.0 / 10.0
Clean, modern and spacious. Near to all amenities, including cafes
Need to be careful with personal security where the hotel is located in the CBD. The property itself was good

The room was always cleaned and tidied, location was great for walking every day
We were there for the Bombing of Darwin and we weren't there long enough to do a lot more sight seeing.
Maybe we can come back next year.

staff was great. very clean. Typical Rydges always
good
The hotel entrance is in like a lane way. not very appealing.

Service was excellent -when our room wasn’t available we we given an (upgraded) room immediately. The room was comfortable and service was again good on checking out.

Location
$25.00 for car parking per night
8.0 / 10.0
Location was perfect, right in amongst bars and restaurants.
The price was reasonable for the high season.
The automated check in machine was impersonal. A staff member stood at the machine to coach you through the process, and pretty well did it all, so they may as well have the front desk manned.
