Good VFM. Better than Travelodge or Premier Inn. Will stay again

Really clean well appointed room. Friendly staff.. It is attached to a pub with bar facilities if you want them. Great VFM.

Not much. The shower head is at ixed height whereas I prefer them to be moveable. But not a deal breaker as everything else was spot on.

Conned into booking a room

Checking out

Lied to about breakfast option provided, when I booked in no breakfast available due to kitchen closed due to planned construction, so if it was planned don’t sell a room with breakfast options available

Was treated so kindly by the night porter

Mine was an odd last minute stay , needed somewhere to stay while bicycling through the area. Was only there for a few hours, but Jordan the night porter was amazing! He had changed the room allocation to put me on the ground floor to help with access so I could take my bike (with all my stuff) into the room. He was kind and considerate , and all at 0230!

Clean, convenient, comfy, clean.

Lovely breakfast. Clean warm room. Comfy bed. Hot water. Convenient for our destination the next day. Lovely helpful staff.

No decaffeinated coffee. But I always bring some with me.

Was quiet very little noise.

The rooms could do with a refurbishment they're quite dated.

Pleasant

Bar was nice with good variety of drinks at reasonable prices. Food was lovely and good value for money

Stairs and landings were not clean when I arrived and still not cleaned when I left 4 days later.

Very comfortable and convenient for the town.

Excellent buffet breakfast, the room was very comfortable and the hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and you were given free secure parking on site. I didn't have an evening meal so could not comment on that.

Only gripe, we were on second floor and the lift was broken. I stayed there at Christmas and it was out of action then too.

Disappointing

The location is perfect and lots of parking bar and food are also good.

Drove all the way from London 4.5 hours to get there and not be able to check in until 2pm on the dot and there is no waiting spaces so had to sit in my car for 2 hours tried to check on at 1.45 to be told no 2pm. No flexibility on check in even though I was prepared to pay extra. The rooms are also extremely hot even with no heating on windows don't open that wide either... there were lights that didn't work in the room either.

Bluebell review

Reception wasn't manned. I had to go find someone very nice, friendly staff.

Only 2 staff members were on the bar and there was a long wait at the bar for drinks and order food . It was the same 2 bar staff that waited in the tables for food. No complaints about food service was good, just slow, and needed at least one more member of staff

We had a room next to the exit fire doors which were being slammed all night.
