Nice view. Nice location.
The check in service could be better with information we asked about - Murmeliweg. We were shown only direction where to go - "right when exiting hotel" - that's it. And we could have been informed a bit better.

We were sold on the idea of a small, family run chalet style hotel in Saas Fee. It appears that it is similar in style to most accommodation options in the village and we picked it as there were only 2 options left at the time of booking. Pictures and other reviews appeared good. However, this wasn't the case and we certainly would never return to this hotel.
The hotel is fine. Not fine as in good or great or excellent but fine as in barely acceptable and a very average, bordering on poor experience. The rooms are fine, sparsely furnished with Ikea style beds and really bad artwork (yes, I know this a subjective comment). Bathrooms were recently renovated and at least clean. Average breakfast, basic continental items. The worst part of the experience were the staff. This is not a great thing to write, especially as it appears that the problems we encountered were with members of the family run business. In particular, one of the head owners/managers was extremely passive aggressive/aggressive and sour and communication from them is non-existent. After discussing an issue with the front desk staff member and confirming a room change after the first night with the new room being blocked for the remaining nights of our stay, the owner decided to then state that that was never agreed to and that no other room was available. Only to then - after expressing how poor their inconsistent communication was - to show us another room as an option. Her demeanour and attitude was absolutely unacceptable and as we pointed out to her, not something that a business owner should be showing to guests. Most all other staff were similarly grumpy, passive aggressive, overbearing or otherwise just ignored us with a cursory glance at most. I do wonder if it is a part of the general psychology/temperament of the extremely small remote community of Saas Fee, but either way not acceptable and left a very poor taste in our mouths. Speaking of taste - we chose to eat dinner in the attached hotel restaurant for the first night - Appalling with a capital A and especially expensive for the poor quality - I joked with my family member at the time that it was the kind of thing that my 7 year old niece might offer up after a first attempt at cooking. Save your money and spend it towards a stay at the Capra which is next door.

- Room was excellent, with a lot of space and a very comfortable room (we received an upgrade to a penthouse)
- Breakfast was excellent, everything is fresh and a lot of different choices and a very friendly staff
- Very nice view of the mountains around us
- Helpful and friendly staff (they can give you more information about what to do in the area and also help to carry your luggage from your car)
- You can feel the family culture in the hotel, which is very nice, friendly, and motivating
- The wifi connection is excellent
- Room was cleaned very well every day
- Really good price for the quality you receive (room, facilities, services)
Overall, the hotel is excellent and has a really good price for the quality you receive. However, from the perspective of continuous improvement two recommendations:
- For myself it was ok, but my girlfriend preferred a softer mattress and also air conditioning. However, this is of course personally, I like the temperature in the mountains (not too hot, but I agree at some points of the days it was a bit hot in the room, so air conditioning would not be a luxury). Maybe a choice of two different mattresses (one hard and one soft) so each can choose what kind of mattress each one prefers

Fantastic hotel, very comfortable, rooms design and furniture modern simple and on perfect style and taste. Balcony with view to mountains exceptional. Receptionists very helpful and friendly. Older owners not so happy, it seemed. Great breakfast, perfect simple buffet amd very helpful and kind lady, keeping things ship shape and making sure everyone is happy, beautiful smile. Thank you Allalin.
Bed and duvet slippery. Not cosy snug feeling.

Warm and welcoming staff and spacious room in a stunning location.
The room was exceptionally hot, which made it difficult to sleep well even with windows open.

We received an upgrade to a superior suite which was very spacious, had a wonderful view and a big balcony. The bathroom was renovated and had a bathtub with nice view too.
Breakfast was very good and offered enough options, especially a lot of fresh fruits.
The staff was very kind and friendly. Hotel is located at the end of the busy street but you can get anywhere within a short walk. Parking is located 5 min walking from the Hotel but you can get picked up or transfered there with their e-car.
We had a great stay and really recommend booking here.
