amazing .. great experience

I actually quite like the fact that there is no mobile signal, as well as no Internet access there unless at specific spots in the room. Very good place to enjoy and to relax. Also there was a generous food basket with local produce for breakfast.
Also, the view is fantastic. We stayed at the cottage on the far left of the attached photo.

location was perfect
the two electric heaters provided didn’t do much to hear the room. it was absolutely freezing. and for $400 a night, that was disappointing.

Amazing experience staying in the Head Lighthouse Keepers cottage built in 1857! No phone reception or internet which adds to the experience of stepping back in time. A must do experience.

No breakfast but supplied a few things in the room to eat. Bread granola juice coffee. The location was great! Out at the lighthouse practically alone to watch the stars and the sunset.
Quite a drive to buy supplies. If you did not know that you were stuck with nothing. A few drinks at the lighthouse entrance during open hours. Cafe had minimal hours so you must shop first.

Great location in historic place, well maintained and clean
No internet connection, but not bad to disconnect

The location is beautiful. We did a little history tour and enjoyed our complimentary morning tea of scones, Jam and cream.
The venue wasn’t prepared for us and only had 2 bedrooms available when I had requested 4.

had trouble locating Lighthouse lodge B&B the number 4 needs to be lit up, for those who arrive in the evening.

Amazing experience in an amazing place! Well appointed room. Super helpful staff having missed check in deadline.
Noisy group of neighbours. No soundproofing. It should be expected in a building of its age and history, but it did not make for a peaceful night's sleep.

the remote experience of staying in the lighthouse keepers studio with no wifi or television just the howling winds and scuds of heavy rain brought home the dedication of the original keepers plight.
The fact that we were without a water source for sink might have been a limitation were it not for the arrangement that all dishes be left outside the accommodation for the housekeeper in a bowl provided!

The location, view from our accommodation, peaceful, cosy and comfortable.
nothing - just wish we could have stayed longer

The scenery is amazing and it was awesome to have it (almost) all to ourselves after the park closed for the night. The stars were incredible, and we saw lots of different animals during the day. The lighthouse guided tour was also great!
The units are basic, but meet all your needs. Don’t expect luxury, but don’t let that deter you from staying here!

A lovely stay in the Light keepers Lodge which included a very good continental breakfast with muesli, toast, jam & apple juice together with tea & coffee. The stay included free access to the historic precinct area which was very interesting together with some great talks by Graham & Richard which bought the whole place alive. Thank you. We were also free to roam around the grounds after it was closed to the public for the day which was very peaceful watching the wallabies venture out.
Nothing. All was good.

the views were exceptional and the accommodation met all our needs.
On the second day, there was an outbreak of very small flies in the bathroom that was a minor unpleasantry however, understand that the location of the accommodation and how close it was to the sea would have been a strong contributing factor.

This is the best location to stay at given its proximity to the coast and lighthouse. Amazing sunsets over the ocean and wonderfully clear night made for great views. The breakfast was great and having the quietness of the lighthouse area after closing meant it was very peaceful. Comfortable bed and friendly wildlife!
There was no kitchen sink in our Bnb which meant we need to watch some plates in the bathroom but this was more about the older design of the house so it wasn't a problem.

Gorgeous location !
Being able to stay there when everyone had left for the day and being able to walk around in the grounds. Also watching a sunset and getting fabulous photos with the coast and lighthouse. The lodge was very authentic and comfortable. The food was yummy for breakfast. All the people we dealt with on site were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.
A highlight for our trip was staying at Cape Otway.

Historic context, isolation and comfy bed
Heat tended to go up the chimney rather than heat the room

sink or Mimi kitchen added to the b&b would be great as the location is isolated.
